In the middle of Republic space, sat the neutral zone that belonged to all Republican nations. It was also the home to the new space station that acted as the Senate. It was also where something big would start with something so small.

The Imperial Senate of the Republic was in meeting today, and all the Senator nation's leaders would be there debating new laws and propositions about war.

Since being hired, 8 arcanii agents had been hiding in the station for a week. They had stowed away on a transport bringing supplies to the station and had hid in various places to avoid detection.

Ghost, the operation leader, looked at his wristwatch and noticed the time. The people that had hired the arcanii assassins had given them a direct time and date to strike, and that's what they did. Ghost pressed a button on his watch and a little red light started blinking for 4 seconds.

A similar red light started blinking on all the other wristwatches on the other agents, symbolising that it was time. They all imerged from their hiding places and made their way to the main conference room where the senators were debating. They would not be detected since they all had cloaking devices.

When they arrived at the conference room, they activated their particle disrupters and walked through the walls of the station and into the room; still undetected. Ghost noticed 2 guards at each door of the room, and gave a wisper to all his men through the comm link.

Almost simultaniously, all the guards flew back against the fall and then slid onto the floor unconscious. Through another wispered order, all the agents disengaged their cloaks to reveal themselves to the senators.

Outside, a small cloaked transport hovered above the station, waiting for the order. The ship had not been there the same time the agents were, but had just arrived.

Ghost pressed another button on his watch. This button activated the small device one of his men had planted in the control center of the station. Once activated, the device dropped the shields of the station.

Noticing this, the small transport beamed all the senators and arcanii agents up and left the system. Their job was done, the Republic senators had been kidnapped, and they would be back at the arcanii headquaters in a few days time to await further instruction.

Senator Eris Terrence spun naround at the sound of the guards hitting the walls, just in time to see the aliens before being beamed away.
Imperator Arch Terrence left the bathroom to find an empty senate chamber. "GOD D*** IT! WHAT THE H*** HAPPENED?"

Eris, as soon as she was in the ship, drew her sidearm in one hand, and balanced it with the other hand, which had one less finger than usual, but looked like it was supposed to be that way. Being half-treth gave her incredible combat istincts, though she was still a good politican. But her combat side was showing now. She looked around, looking for the nearest alien. Once spotting it, she aimed her particle whip pistol at it. "Where are we, and why did you take us? And where are you taking us too? Andswer me, now"

Shadow turned around to face the girl, "Haha, put that away, it will do you no good. You and your comrades are seperated from us by a strong forcefield. As for where you are, your on our small little transport. That's all I can tell you."

"The hell with your force feild!"

She activated a few neural pathways, and she walked right through the force feild.

"A little, say, enhancement I had in the Marines. Now, Where are we going?"

Shadow sighed, "Why do people always have to get difficult?" He pressed a button on the control panel behind him and instantly, Eris was envelopped in a blue liquid, which proceeded to freeze and keep her in the position she was in making it impossible for her to activate anything to get out. "Smoke, move her back into the security of the forcefield. And one more thing," he started writing on a piece of paper and then taped it in front of the girls face, "Let's make sure she understands what happense when people don't cooperate."

The paper said,

Try something like that again and all of you will be released into space.

She couldn't move. She could flex her muxcles, somewhat, but not enough to do anything. The phase shifter couldn't be used for another few minutes. A few other things she could activate, but they would be useless. She could pull the trigger on the gun, but it was aimed at the wall.
