Additions to Consolidation Sticky: Input Requested

There are a few threads out there have helped out the II community a lot, and I'd like to get your input (as well as more proposed additions to the sticky) on which threads should be posted in the sticky, or if they should just be linked to in the first post.

Here are a few that I have noticed, and again, if there are any that you think should be in here, post a link here, and let us know.

So You Want To Be A Roleplaying Star (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=430788)
Krieg's Guide To Losing (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=428384)
Dealing With New Players (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=430647)
The Complete Idiot's Guide To Creating A Military (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=419552)

I may make a poll after we get all of the proposed additions together in this thread. Your help and input is greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest
OOC: Help-a-nation Sign up

If anything, I'd suggest that there be a link to this in the first post. Making a separate post for it wouldn't be good if the "Help-a-nation" were to cease to exist at any point. At least for the others, the information will always be useful, no matter how much time progresses.

I'd say put on all of them, I've read most, and they're all good...

These are all wonderful threads and all new players should read them. Add them all to Consolidation Sticy.

Think of it this way. If you were new to NationStates, and you were to look at these threads, not knowing anything about NS, would they have helped you? Do you think that these threads are good enough to be posted in the Consolidation Sticky?

Basically yes, but the one problem I can see is that the newb(used in good nature, to denote someone who is new) would be flooded with Information, maybe putting in a section at the top espescially for newbs to read, to give them the most needed information, such as how to RP, and what it all means, leaving the rest for later, categorized as you have already done, except maybe separating equipment and war...

As I have said before, Euro should be a mod.

Understandable. The Guide To Nationstates, as well as Sarzonia's Emporium are quite enough for someone to read. Though, I wouldn't recommend that each new player read everything thoroughly, at least at the beginning. Take things at ease, perhaps by skimming through the posts in the Consolidation Sticky, rather than the links in the first post, and when they're ready to take in more knowledge, read the rest of the links that are for the more intermediate players, once they've gotten used to the forums.

Roleplaying war would be covered already, by Automagfreek in the 4th post of the Sticky. Sarzonia has specific links for each category of NS, so that a new player can click one of the links, and get an idea of what the rest are.

One thread though, that I would strongly recommend that a new player read in the "Euro's Consolidated II Thread" (not to be pushing my threads above the rest, everyone here has made some amazing threads that are much more informative than mine) where the first post is an "Intro to NS", the 2nd post is the Intermediate level, and the 3rd level is the advanced level.

OoC: While this may be a bit of a "mad dash bump" (god knows what that means), I think that this thread should be at least seen and posted to a bit more - afterall, this stuff is what will help the next generation of RPers.

Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on this thread.
