OOC: This would probably count as my 1st venture into the milky way to make peace with it's people. And bring a pancake ship.
This is open to those I ignore to, as I figure it's time to start fresh. The ship will eventually hit Terra if all goes to plan. And contact the many peoples living on it. But ANYONE can join if they wish. The ship your seeing is basicly a 10km flat pancake of doom.

A large ship that was nearly 11km in length. Slid out of FTL and into uncharted territory. There was something strange about this ship, it was perfectly flat on both sides. And it was very very very thin. Maybe thats why the guys back at HQ called it the pancake of death.

The Captain was still in awe at the great vessel, as was the rest of his crew. The Admiral was getting getting on shift. It had been a long journey, almost a month now, They've traveled over 10 million light years.

He stood up and spoke to his new tactical officer. " So, Wanna tell me a bit about the ship I was given command of and I never wondered about? We're going into an unknown and possibly hostile envioment. And from what that stranded trader told us, pretty violent. So buddy, wanna tell me what I have to work with? "

The Tactical officer begun displaying ship information on the view screen as he went over it. " Well sir, the ship is called Skyline, and is part of the utopia project. This ship has 2 emitter pads capable of 12.1 Exo tons each. This thing isn't limited by turrets or strips. And it can emulate anything we need it to, PDF, Defensive turrets,Offensive weapons, sect ect. We can even charge up a planet killer beam. And keep in mind, this is a Conversion weapon ship, you know, the good ole Q beams. The 23km version will have the new multi beams. And will be able to.... "

The captain quickly cut him off " I see energy readings in the Area, drop to 1/3 Graviton power and bring shields online. Who the hell are these guys?

While nowhere near as 'unique' as the 'pancake' vessel, a standard looking Ascendancy destroyer escorting two passenger JumpShips is still a sight when the Folded nearby, the three vessels a bit too curious of the strange sight to simply ignore it.

It was like a bunch of Japanese tourists (an actually national culture in the Ascendancy btw..) shooting off holo-cameras off all at once, making the three ships look like they were in the middle of an olympic stadium.. (minus the ugly mascots.)

The captian of the destroyer then is joined by his XO. "Is that something you 'ever' see?"

A cruiser, the Krom by name, was exploring when it detected a rather large ship appearing. As per standard procedure the Krom turned and headed toward the new ship. As it was heading there it picked up a couple GAers.

"Whoa, now that is one freaky peice of ship." The captain commented as the ship was brought up on the view screen. "Krom, send them a greeting."
"Yes captain, oh and check." As the captain turned back to the N-D Chess game, the Krom sent a message to the flat ship.

"To the unknown ship. This is the T.S. Krom. We would be interested in opening up a line of communications and possibly a face-to-face meeting."

The Vote was cast in moments, and a ship was sliped into GD before slipping back out. Ship was actually quite misleading, it was in fact a Star Fortress, in rough translation, it was a Castle designed to exist in space. It was not singualry Designed for war ((Although this was its MAIN design)) and had a number of luxurius rooms and had a general population of aproxamatly Seven Thousand, with a Garrison of Almost One thousand Five Hundred. Now attacking it would be interesting, since it was litterally the strangest designed craft, but we are not HERE to describe Star Fortress Stratergies. The Fortress deployed, generating Null Space and Stabilizers.

The Admiral was amused by the 1st ships that had arrived. And he summoned his scanner officer. “Hey, commander can you zoom in on those windows?”

She tapped a few buttons on her console and the sensors zoomed in on the tourists. All holding cameras and filming the large rectangular vessel (IT’S NOT ROUND). They seemed to be in are at the sheer size, and how delicate it looked.

The Admiral was stunned “Are those cameras? They want a show! Let’s put on a show! Charge the planet killing beam and target that dead planet in the system. Let’s blow that son of a bitch up! “He smiled and waited.

The Weapons officer literally jumped with joy “Aye sir! Bring all reactors to 100% Bringing upper pad to 100%, estimated time to planet boom, 30 seconds! This is awesome! "

The flat ship rotated to its dorsal emitter pad was facing the dead planet further into the system. The entire ship begun to emit strange blue waves that would cause ships in the area to shake violently. It only took a few more seconds, and the great ship shot a massive blue beam towards the dead planet (dead, as in lifeless). It dug into the planet and the planet blasted apart into millions of tiny fragments.

The ship soon returned to normal.

The admiral was impressed “Cool; now they have pictures to take home. Hail the Krom. "

The COMM officer opinioned a channel “Aye, channels open”

The admiral spoke calmly into the COMM “Krom, You seem peaceful enough and you sound like I can trust you. You can send a delegate if you so desire. The shields will be lowered for an instant if you decide to send a shuttle over. We await your response. I'm always eager to meet a new race. "

The ship had shown it was easily capable of destroying anything in the system. And it awaited a Response from the civilian ships.

“And just in case, bring up an FTLi.”

"Probably both showboating, wannabe flag waving and a trying to overcompensate for shortcomings." At this there was a chuckle amongst the crew in bridge.

"To the unknown ship, we will be sending over a shuttle. We must inquire as to your nation, ship's name, and atmosphere." The Krom transmitted as a shuttle detacted and began heading toward the ship.

( it was more like a test fire, When you have a prototype, why blow up your owns planets :) When you can be an ass :) )

" Very well, send your shuttle. We shall be waiting, theres only one opening on this ship, find it. This is a class M atompshere, ECF Skyline, From the Terran Empire " The admiral transmitted the message to to the crusier.

The crew couldn't stop laughing there ass's off when they heard the word shuttle. But they waited.

And with that, the marine flashed away via transporter beam. He flashed away into a place where he would be amazed by the ships power.

"We are part of the Dominion of Theao. Also, I'd appreciate the return of my personnel." The delegate said. As he said this the viewplates of the marines polarised, making it impossible to see any thing other than the outer surface of the suits.

IC The ship saw the explosion and mentaly recodered for it to be put into the data stream, right before it began to use High Profile scans. Within seconds most of the layout of the ship was known. It might be a bit inacurate, but since the Main embassys that would be sent where not substanual anyway. The Valsharites Smiled, so they had been Ignored at first? Well then, they would make a new impression.

The ship burst a tad with internal power, before a green bolt flashed out, it hit what would have been the core of the planet before they destroyed it, and formed a bubble, exactly the same Diametre as the planets full Atmosphere and extent had been. the inside crackled, and it flashed gold, to brightly for anyone to look at it. The matter that had been thrown out by the attack was drawn back into, and the reconfigeration began. When the bright light dissapated, the planet was standing there, exactly the same as it had been before hand.
