Arts Department
Politics/History Department
Science Department
Practical Sciences Department
Music Department

I believe that once we have enough members (maybe around ten), UNAEQ should hold it's first meeting of members. The purpose of this meeting will be to create a UNAEQ charter which will lay out the goals of UNAEQ in detail, as well as the structure of this union and a set of rules & procdeures.

The Republic desires to aid in what what we call the urban arts. Urban Art consists of Graffiti, history of famous urban events such as civil rights movements and urban poetry of every type. This will help preserve a dying piece in our contemporary era which was destroyed by many nations.

The Supreme Commander sat at his overlavish desk, sipping vodka, reading 'official' documents, and generally trying to look important and busy. Then the foreign minister popped his head in.

"Sir," He started, "I think I am going to need you to help me with this."

The Supreme Commander stood up and followed.

"This is from the Conservative Union."

The Supreme Commander blinked, "You mean the madhats who tried to destroy all the communists and socialists... which is actually a good idea but impossible to pull off."

"Yes sir, apparently they have began offering and recieving donations for a 'International Education Program'. Sir if we allow this..."

"Yes, yes, it undermines having the Corporations running the schools. Reject it out right."

Hoth Manufacturing Corporation
From the desk of CEO Darryl Galvax

Greetings, member nations of the UNAEQ.

The Hoth system, as a primarily industrial, privately run society where all inhabitants are employees of a single corporation, possesses no need for any type of public school system. Thus, we respectfully decline the call for applicants to your organization. However, we do recognize the need for the continuing evolution of education in today's society, especially in the repidly changing field of design and engineering, in which our company specializes. It was distressing to find, however, that your organization does not have an engineering department. Because of Hoth Manufacturing's commitment to education in this dynamic academic world, we would like to contribute fifty million dollars US toward the founding of an Engineering Department and an additional one hundred million toward general education, to be diverted from our sizeable commerce budget. The funds will be wired upon positive confirmation of the establishment of an engineering department.

Thank you for your time, gentlemen.

Sincerely,
Darryl Galvax

With our subsidarys replenished from yesterday, we are donating an additional $75 BILLION to the general fund. You can also use this money to donate 2 - 4 Billion per department, your choice.

This makes our contribution the largest so far, to the UNAEQ. We will continue to donate money for aslong as the orginisation is in practise and existent.

As a chair owner/member of the executive commitee of the UNAEQ, i reject offers larger than 250 Billion, Just because you may all want to throw money to own the UNAEQ, It's unfair you all get famed, and others get shadowed, for being bigger contributers, everyone has a fair chance to donate, not too much, and not to little (I'm setting a minimal regulation of $500 Million aswell)

I'm sure the conservitave union shall welcome my decision. I mean, if everyone got to spend their entire GDP's (especially when we start talking big, 100-Trillion dollar economys), they could buy themselves a seat into ownership, control may be a good thing in the short-term, but only for the right hands, not dictatorships.

These regulations will be put into action, as soon as i revisit NSWiki.

OOC:
I disagree with the 500 million minimal. That would be unfair for small economies, like mine. In any case, This policy of a cap on contributions is good idea. As far as control is conserned, no commitee member has any more power than any other.

IC:
As the Union is currently engaged in civil conflict and war, we hereby cede membership temporarily. We hope that our seat on the executive commitee will be reserved for a later date, to be filled until then by a qualified nation.

Why has this turned into a civil war may I ask? This is unjust.

The communist insurgence had caused pitched battles in the southern region, equvilent to a civil war. Following the coup to remove Emperor Baedor, thousands have took to the streets to protest. In addition, the attack on our nation has caused general turmoil, though we are in the process of a stand down. The new emperor is working to de-militarize the communist factions and stop the war.

Rammsteinburg also disagreed with The Conservative Union's anti-communist actions, but we did not let this interfere with our relationship in UNAEQ. Please don't let past disagreements stop you from joining.

We cannot yet give you information on curriculum goals or standards. They have not been developed yet. As you know, UNAEQ is still young. Curriculum goals and standards will be made. Once we have a good number of members, we will set up the first UNAEQ conference. At this conference, the UNAEQ charter will be worked on. The charter will include curriculum goals and standards. If you join, which we hope you will, you will be allowed to help with developing a set of goals and standards.

I must protest that there is no anti-communistic bias in this orginization. Tichang is one of the UNAEQ's highest donating members, and we are a country ruled under Democratic Socialism. Any political bias to the right side of the political spectrum would be very unseemly.

Re: Your Statements

As the Democratic Republic of Halberdgardia's representative to the Executive Board of the UNAEQ, I also echo the sentiments of my fellow board members from Rammsteinburg and Tichang. While my nation is not currently socialist, it has been a socialist democracy in the past. And while my government has also disagreed with The Conservative Union's anti-communism stance, the new Emperor appears to be more moderate than his predecessor. Additionally, I personally see the UNAEQ as a redeeming effort on The Conservative Union's part; a meaningful contribution that they have made to the international community, no matter what political ideology they adhere to. I assure you that if there were any political bias in this organization, I would be one of the first to cry foul.

As I stated before, the Union has resigned its commitee position for the present. (BTW, its president now, not emperor.) Any precieved 'slant' would surly disapear in my absence, though there is no bias anyway, but just to save face, I don't want my presence here at this organization to taint its objectivity in the eyes of my former enemies.

IC:
President Trakias wishes to extend a hand of friendship to those nations unsure of supporting UNAEQ, and assure them that while a patron of education like his predesessors, he is not a hard-line anti-communist. In addition, he would like to point out that this organization was created before the recent international war, and is in no way an attempt to redeem our image.
