In the intrest of forwarding stable and economically strong nation states, it is neccessary to improve education throughout the world. I propose we as nations dedicate funds to an international account, which can be accessed by stuggling nations to improve their educational system. We should also create a network of consultants and teachers to be distributed to such nations. I, the exalted and generous leader of the Conservative Union, hereby dedicate 2 million units of our currency to the fund. CONTIBUTE! SHOW YOUR COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION! NOW IS THE TIME FOR ACTION!

The nation of Matterbuggy also feels that the education system is a vital part of our future. Today's children will be running our nation one day, and so it is very important that they are well educated. We applaud The Conservative Union for this idea. Matterbuggy will also give two million dollars to the fund.

Education is indeed the very foundation of all societies, and only a fool would disregard such importance. Of course as you may soon learn yourself, there are plenty of fools in this neck of the woods. But they would probably benefit from an education as well!

We feel that the most important aspects of education are art and humanities. Children must learn to paint, or compose music, write great works of literature, or carve great statues if they are to leave a mark on the world that will span generations.

The Camarilla has extensive monetary resources from our various business ventures, and provided that the arts are actively encouraged and funded in any schools which take from this 'pot', we will be happy to contribute.

We can do better!

We will lend our hand by donating the lost art of urban literature and arts, many nations have destroyed and banned this sacred sign of urban evolution and we thus will assist with bring some of our urban graffitti artists who have voluntarily offered to publish their art on literature as they know vandalism is bad.

We must contend that the contributors of this summit spread the word, gather support for this cause, tell people to come here and offer support!

Your project is ambitious and ultimately foolhardy. You are focusing on teaching facts and supporting formal education, when the truest goals of education are to teach people to think for themselves as individuals.

Rammsteinburg shall donate $500,000 to the history & politics department, as well as another $500,000 to the study of science. As well, we are interested in helping this cause by doing more than donating money. How can we help?

Rammsteinburg is exactly right. The Union of Nations for the Advancement of Educational Quality (UNAEQ), is hereby instituted, and The Dominion of the Conservative Union contributes 5 million dollars to the budget. I suggest that Rammsteinburg and the Conservative Union, as founding members, jointly head the Executive Comittee. Any nation wishing to join UNAEQ may simply say so in this thread. Anyone who applies should give reasons why they are qualified, then we post opinions and agree or disagree. If no concenses is reached, the next applicant will be looked at, if no applicant is in que, then temperarily the first applicant will be instated. This should be the model for all positions.

Sounds reasonable, but let's get a little more specific on the reasons for the qualification. We should set some sort of minimum on how much they should tell us. Honestly, one sentence isn't going to be very convincing.

UNAEQ wishes to extend the greatest thanks to the generous Emperor Antonius and the Imperial Government. Such a sizable contribution is so greatly appreaciated. We honor the Imperial Government with sincere thanks.

We should also appoint someone to represent us in the United Nations. Obviously they have to be a member, but I think it would be beneficial to have someone looking out specificly for UNAEQ.

As to the entry questions,
1) Our nation boasts impressive schooling facilities including public universities which have free tuition. We are very commited to this project as education is the only true way to invest in our future, and the future of man.

2) We wish to join this august society because voices for reason are few and far between, and Tichang wishes to see all people educated, so that they can think for themselves. A man who can think can change his world, and that is truly a great dream. As I understand it, the goal of this society is to allow countries with little money to break free of their cycle of
low education=low-paying job=no money for education.
This goal is one that I cannot understand any nation turning away from.

We thank the generous Tichang people for their contribution. The Democratic Republic of Tichang is hereby given full confidence and approval to be inducted to the position of Public Relations officer, and to be a member of the executive commitee, should they choose to accept.
