[Taliosa first colony, Genotive]

The TSF Tencov, Pride of the Taliosian Space Force, hovered over the planet, it was exchanging communication with another Taliosian ship. Both ships had a fleet around them.

"We are tired of being treated like outsiders, we are Taliosians just like any other!" The captain of the other ship yelled at the camera. "Genotive is the begining of the New Taliosian government! We will end this pitifuly weak government and start a new, stronger one! One capable of upholding the rights of all people under the Taliosian flag."

The colony had only been there for 10 years and had a population of 14 million or so, but they had some of the best mining in the quadrant. It was the first of a series of 3 colonies in that area, 2 of which were now rebeling.

"Please, I'm sure the senate would be more then willing to listen to you," the Captain of the Tencov said calmly.

"But it will take years before any action is taken! We need change NOW!" With that the reble fleet openned fire.

The MTP, mass to plasma, weapons are very powerful weapons, capable of turning an entire ship into a single huge ball of plasma. But the bolt of energy wasn't very good against sheilding. The Loyal fleet returned fire and began tactical menuvers, trying to get into the enamies blind spot and beat on them.

~Floating within an asteroid belt on the edge of the warring system and hidden from shortrange sensors, was a small corvette class vessel. They had orders to watch the battle. They also knew that a small fleet was being assembled as they watched. The purpose of this strike fleet would be to make sure they kept fighting amongst themselves, as long as they never united, they wouldn't become a threat.~

Flashes of light struck out between the two fleets, hitting sheilds and creating a strange pattern of lightning bolts that spread across the sheilds. The Rebels had the numarical advantage, with a large factory on the planet they could produce alot of ships very quickly.

But the loyists had much superior ships and training. It wasn't long before the first Reble ship started taking MTP hits to the hull, which were absolutly devistating. Each hit created, what looked like, a huge silver sphere that expanded to engluf more of the ship. Then it was gone, along with the ship it had consumed.

Another advantage the loyists had was different ships, currently here were only battleships and a couple cruisers.

On board the Tencov the Commander directed the battle.

"Target 4 has lost its sheilds tell the fleet to focus their fire on it." Before the commander was a huge 3d display of the battle.

"The Tenlar is reporting sheilds down, their dropping back, Kovsign moving in to replace them," One of the 4 communications operators reported.

"Sir, jump signatures, we have 3 torpedo cruisers moving in... their ours."

The massive torpedo cruisers could launch their powerful payloads from half a system away. The Blackwolf torpedos could break through multipul layers of sheilding, the hull of most ships and even a second hull before exploding deep within the ship, this explosion sent smaller explocive pellets everywhere doing more damage to the ship.

With the arrivle of the torp cruisers the side of the battle tipped. Once the first torp hit a ship, turnning it into a dead hulk in space the reble ships vanished in a puff of radiation, probably headed for another planet in system to replan their attack.

The loyist fleet took up a defencive formation to wait for more reinforcments. They deployed sensor drones to try and find the reble fleet, or any one else that might be watching.
