Nili Begins Military Drills

((This is just a little thing to help burgeon my troops on Earth for the "invasion" of Shingrow))

Hour 7. Nili Date: 4999 AW

The cold, heavily forested outpost on the rather populated planet Earth in the Sol system bustled with activity, as its population of 5,000 scientists swelled to nearly five times that as numerous military craft from Nili came into orbit directly above, moving with the planet as the smaller shuttles dropped off the majority of troops onto the foreign soil. Such a thing was exceptionally odd, and even caught most of the scientists by surprise.

However, as soon as the first of the armored soldiers evacuated the shuttles, it became readily apparent why they had come. These were the experiment hunters, a special division of the Nili Army designed solely with one purpose in mind. This purpose was simple, the extermination or capture of anything of interest or danger to the Triumvirate.

"Sir... Have they come to invade Shingrow?" A young female Kabalese science assistant finally said something, breaking the silence in the head director's office.

"Yes... It appears so..." The Director said before turning to the concerned girl and laughing humorously, as if trying to console her worry. After all, Kabal were notorious emotional, since their original purpose was... Well that didn't matter, "Just don't worry about it, those savages will be delt with soon."

"Uhmm... Okay! Well I'll be in the lounge, message me if you need anything sir!" She said happily before leaning forward and kissing the director on the cheek and leaving the room quickly.

Almost as soon as she left, the head director of the Science Research Station and Space Port put his hands to his temples, rubbing them nervously as he thought about possible strategies in this situation. After all, the Earth Station was notoriously out of synch with the rest of Nili due to its distance, and the soldiers would probably have orders to ask about what they were currently working on. He only hoped that the small station would be able to adequately impress them... Otherwise his job, and perhaps his very life, would be snuffed out once and for all for his "betrayal" of the emperor's expectations.

"God... And to think I spent four hundred years just to wind up working in a place like this... And now they might even be finishing me off too?!"
