Polskai is an Armed Republic located in the Region of the 4th army. Its society is based on the principle that every citizen (male or female) should serve in the military for at least one year. After that, they can choose to be in the reserves or be hororably discharged from the military, in which they are free to do whatever they like (as long as it abides to the law).
Polskai's small population of 6 million doesn't allow them to win by numbers, so each soldier, airman, etc. is trained extensively in their chosen field.
Currently, their are 16,000 Personnel active in the military, and 50,000 in reserve.
Any one to be called up from the reserve in time of war would be put into a new divisions(which would be disbanded when the war ended, and the weapons/vehicles stockpiled).
Modern Tech Military
The army is constructed as the following.
Two Divisions.
2nd Mechanized Infantry Division. 5,000 Men/Women Strong
45th Armored Division. 3,000 Men/Women Strong
The 2nd Mechanized Infantry Division includes the following:
300 BMP-1 APCs.
450 Humvees equiped with .50 Cal Machine Guns or T.O.W. Missile Launchers.
400 M35A2 transport trucks.
230 Mi24-Hind Transport Helicopters
Personal Weapons Include:
The FN2000 Assault Rifle with Grip, grenade, and riot attachments.
The SAIGA 12 shotgun.
The SV-98 Sniper Rifle
The Carl-Gustaf M2 antitank recoilless rifle
The LAW anti-tank launcher.
The 45th Armored Division includes the following:
400 PT-91 Twardy tanks.
250 Twin 128mm Anti-Aircraft Tanks
300 M2 Bradley Assault Vehicles
All other men/women are used as support troops armed with standard Polskai army personal weapons.
The air force is structured as the following.
Two Fighter Bomber Squadrons.
Three Fighter Squadrons
One Bomber Squadron
5,000 Personnel
Fighter Bombers Include:
A-18 Hornet Fighter Bomber Jets.
Fighters Include:
MiG 29 fighter jet.
Bombers Include:
B1 Bomber
Only 100-300 planes are aloud in each squadron(Budget cuts), so extra personal are back-up pilots, or ground crew.
The Navy is structured as the following.
3,000 Personnel
2 Battle Ships
6 Cruisers
7 Destroyers
2 Nuclear Submarines
If funding for the government is low, vehicles/ships/planes/helicopters/weapons will be sold.
Current Stockpiled Vehicles/ships/planes/helicopters number is unknown.
