OOC: I don't know how I'm going to make this a good RP, so I'm asking all of you to just develop the RP with me in the realistic way you want to.
IC: President Holtz called Gen. Washington to his office.
A few minutes later, Gen. Washington stepped in, "You wanted to see me, Mr. President?"
"Yes, I did, general. Have a seat please." Pres. Holtz replied. Gen. Washington sat down on the chair facing President Holtz. "General, you know our country has not been on the world scene for a long time. Well, I want to change that. Build a war machine. Not a tank, a gun, a ship, a plane, a bomb, or a missle. A war machine. Something that could waste quickly entire countries if we wanted to. Not that we will ever use it, its just to show we are a superpower. If possible, make more than one. I don't have any specifications except, make it big. Make it strong. Make it powerful. Make it practically indestructable."
"But, sir, its impossible to make anything indestructable." Washington declared.
"I said, 'Practically indestructable', not completely indestructable." Holtz clarified.
"But, the budget..." Washington said.
"We have enough money in reserves from the the trade surpluses and government waste to at least try to make something like I have in mind. Do it, general." Holtz assured.
"But, Congress would have to pass it." Washington replied.
"Enough 'buts', general. I know that. And I suggested it to them today in my weekly address. And as I left, I heard one of them propose the bill I suggested. By now, it is probably already nearing end of debate." Holtz said. Right after he said that, an aide came in with a bill to sign. He put it on his desk. It said: LB 293-602: Take funds from reserves to create a war machine, and permission to create a war machine. He smiled and signed it. "Well, general, you heard my orders. Start at it." he again smiled.
"Yes, sir." Gen. Washington replied. He then left the office and the building to go carryout the orders.
