Komunisty Penguins

The new Animtern Chairpenguin Lev Beaksky surveyed the assembled revolutionaries. Farthest to his right, in both policy and seating arrangement sat, Bob Clubmeov Foreign Commissar of the Community of Revolutionary Seals. Next sat Orca Killerensky head of the Anarcho-Skeptic Whales Foreign Ministry. Finally Krill 37 from the Nihilist Krill Foreign Relations Council. So this is it, he thought. The first Animaltarian Internationale. Lev Beaksky rose to address the assembled commissars.
"Greeting Tovarischi. Revolutionaries, this 1st Animtern be the bestest way to crush all smelly-big-humans yes? We have cleared the imperialist from or own areas of Antarctica. Only Polar shelf 7 remains in the iron five-flipper of the smelly-big-humans yes?"
Lev glanced at Orca, noticing his blow hole contract with nervous tension. Only polar shelf 7 remained out with Red Antarctica's control, this was Whale territory, and the fighting had not been going well.
"We's take fight to the landed-two-legs tovarisch", Orca replied. "We be beating them soon we's think. Our front lines, nichevo! they's lacking equipment, we's lost much fighting smelly-big-humans from the Nordlands, they be using many rope arrows against our Soldiers."
Krill 37 snorted.
Lev sighed inwardly, always with the fighting between the Krill and the Whales, despite the Whales banning the use of Krill as a food source, and the re-education programs they instituted. In reality Lev knew it wouldn't matter, basically the Krill would antagonize anybody.
"You should liquidate the officers in charge of shelf 7 Tovarisch. Then I be thinking they not be so disappointing yes? They be's Bourgeois human apologists me is thinking, you both being warm bloods and all.” Krill 37 sneered.
Lev saw Orca flushed red with anger, he would not go far in the Animtern if he cannot control his temper, Lev noted. However this was not the time for division.
"Tovarischi, enough! Be we concentrating on the matter at flipper yes?” Lev asserted. "We must lend aid to our Whale tovarisch, and drive these flipperless imperialists from the Polar Shelf!"
Bob nodded and cheered, "I be agreeing with the venerable gentlepenguin Lev.", he said.
How easily swayed the Menshevik was, despite Bob's bourgeois affectation of "gentlepenguin", Lev smiled to himself. Yes much leverage with the Seals to be taken in future. The party Chairpenguin comrade Penglin had been worried about joining with the Seals, a community of landowners, he had raged in one of his more lucid moments. However this lack of backbone should be enough to cheer him.
The party had been worried about the Seals since the argument which had split the Penguin and Seal Revolutionary Committee when they were all émigrés on the Falklands. That was two revolutions ago and the Komunisty Penguins had strengthened their gains, whilst Lev had watched the Seals backslide on socialist policy ever since. Soon a thin layer of exploiting
Seal Bourgeois would be all that remained of their "glorious revolution". Comrade Penglin had been right to dismiss them and their parliamentarianism back on the émigré island.
"Yes, Red Antarcticans.", Lev continued. "We must be co-coordinating our military effort to help the Whales. Agreed we be setting telegraphs and helping Whales between our military tovarischi, yes?"
Everyone nodded.
"Good." said Lev. "Now all we's be discussing is being the crayon shortage on polar shelf 27, yes? Needs that we all have many more crayons for the calf’s and pups to draw with, yes? We have many tasty yum-yum fishes to trade. We must finds a place of non-imperialist smelly-big-humans to trade with. We be believings it best to set the task to the Krill, yes."
The agreement was total. If you wanted something done, you give it to the Krill, Gulags or no, they had they're uses. Lev knew the Komunisty Penguins had they're own camps too for the apologists and counter revolutionaries, but not like the camps the Krill had. Lev shivered at the thought.
Taking one last look round the assembly, Lev finished the meeting, "Farewell Tovarischi, we call to closing the first Animaltarian Internationale. Forward the revolutionary vanguard of Red Antarctica!"
As they were leaving the cavern, Lev decided he would be more wary of the Krill in future. Yes he would be very wary. After all, you had to keep two flippers and a beak on your tasty yum-yum fishes when the Krill were around.
