This meeting will take place in Westwood, Jarridia. The discussion topic will be the newly formed alliance between the Westwood Alliance (WWA) and the Grand Alliance. Members of these two regions are the only ones invited, but others will be allowed to follow the discussion. Thank you.

We have discovered that Yugoslavitania has requested membership into the WWA. We are wondering if the members of WWA are aware that the Grand Alliance is comprised of 24 nations. Are they, as a whole, requesting an alliance with WWA, or is it just Yugoslovitania?

Dear Xeraph,

Yugoslavitania is not requesting a singular alliance with the WWA. This is basically a creation of Economic and Diplomatic ties between the WWA and the Grand Alliance. It in no way, shape or form is a discussion of another nation joining the WWA at this time. However, if you have any input in this situation you are welcome to join. You and I have always been allies, and you have been a great honor in the WWA.

This is not necessarily planned to be a military pact of any kind, just primarily economic. Thank you.

Premier Barker,Presidents Stassin,and Brannom shook hands inside the room filled with reporters,cameras,and the press and sat at the long table at the head of the room to conduct a preliminary press conference.With the opening of the press conference,Barker began to speak,"Ladies and gentlemen of the press,President Stassin,President Brannom,citizens of the Westwood Alliance,and citizens of The Grand Alliance,We the representatives of The Westwood and Grand Alliances are here to conduct the first of two press conferences stating the importance of the forming of diplomatic relations between the Grand and Westwood Alliances,its effect on the economies of both sides,and a perspective of what each side hopes that an alliance pact will accomplish.To those of you who do not know me very well,I will inform you of my self.My name is Robert Barker and I am the Premier of The Grand Alliance.The Grand Alliance is a military and economic alliance consisting of 24 regional members at this time.The Grand Alliance alliance is based on the ideals of socialism while promoting peaceful coexistance between nations and regions of differing social,political,and economic systems.Donot be fooled by the size of our region itself.The number of nations inside the region does not not reflect the power we possess.The Grand Alliance has alliances with the nation Pushka,and is working on forming relations with Japanese Antarctica.The Grand Alliance is creating alliances with the Soviet Union,China,and is organizing a military forces command on the asian continent.The region,The Grenvali United recently requested an alliance agreement and that request has thus been granted.The Grand Alliance is expected to deploy forces to the pacific which include a carrier group and an airforce base.The Grand Alliance wishes to open relations with Cuba,North Korea,and Vietnam.In addition to an economic alliance the WWA,I am laying the following upon the table for consideration:a mutual defense agreement,and a joint military cooperation agreement.With that,I will let my colleagues from the Westwood Alliance address you all now."

Marissa Stassin bowed to Premier Barker and stood up to deliver her statements about the Westwood Alliance. She glanced around the room, and began to speak, "Greetings and thank you for coming to our preliminary press conference. The Westwood Alliance has been around for many years, and has weathered some of the most controversial moments in our worlds history. The alliance began when the two nations of Jarridia and Vampirian City came together and created a new foundation upon what previously was called the Smithso-Jarridian Defense Initiative or SJDI. This loose defense pact contained Utcheer, Vampirian City Lord-General Drache and Vorpistan. Soon the alliance had grown to a grand status, constructing their capital in the Jarridian city of Westwood, where the pact had been signed. Since then, ties have been established with the Coalition Forces Alliance, the New World Order, NATO, the RBA and CAD. Jarridian Forces, along with Westwood Peace Keepers have fought in many battles, and have fought vigilantly."

She took a slight break, and reassessed her aim, "We are grateful to be contacted by the Grand Alliance, and we look forward to joining forces in the future to further combat the evils in our small world. The economic ties that we make here will benefit the future generations for hundreds and hundreds of years. We not only create a greater life for ourselves, but a better world for all. May we live in peace forever."

She graciously sat down and yielded the floor to Jarrod Branam, President of Jarridia.

The Canadian President, Anthony Raymond Wittrock had sat down beside his Administration's Representative to the Westwood Alliance. As he listened over what Marissa and the leaders of the Grand Alliance had to say. Hoping he would be able to make a comment before voting on the alliance.
