Hockey Canadian Annex of Kalallit Nunaat

With recent struggles in Hockey Canadian history and a firm establishment all over Hockey Canada, the government of Hockey Canada will hereby send forces into the nation of Kalallit Nunaat to annex the land north of the 70th Parallel to establish militart bases and numerous naval areas. A force of 30,000 strong soldiers are currently entering the nation without injuring anyone in the area. We wish to make this annex as peaceful as possible as we expand our large border southward so that the Atlantic Ocean may prove to be a valuable asset to Hockey Canada in the near future.

We wish to make this annex peaceful as necessary. Our forces have trained all their lives in arctic conditions such as these and believe there should be no resistance to defend Kalallit Nunaat.

The People's Republic condemns in the strongest possible terms this illegal act of aggression. We insist that these troops be removed from Kalallit Nunaat immediately. Until this happens, we will be imposing economic sanctions against the government of Hockey Canada.
We call upon the international community to join us in condemning this illegal invasion.

The government of Hockey Canada rejects this threat from Shildonia and will tend to do this peacefully. We annex the land merely to retain what was taken from us years ago when Kalallit Nunaat gained independance from the Arctic wastes shortly before Hockey Canada did. They had land north of the 60th parallel but we do not wish to take inhabited land from Kalallit Nunaat. The communist government restricts invading the inhabited land simply to gain land more south for armed forces and naval forces.

Since, by your own admission, this land belonged to Kalallit Nunaat before your country even existed there can be no possible justification in law for these reprehensible acts of aggression.
Whether this land is inhabited or not is irrelevant. The fact that it is allegedly uninhabited does not mean the land has no value. There could well be mineral deposits, or other natural resources. Even if it is simply a barren wasteland, the fact remains that it is not your barren wasteland.
We therefore stand by our earlier assertation that this invasion is illegal and almost certainly constitutes an act of war against the sovereign nation of Kalallit Nunaat.

If it will come to these measures, our troops will not recede from Kalallit Nunaat therefore establishing military footholds. The Annex has been quick, easy, and no casualties for either nation. No need for aerial combat has been made and we believe there is no mineral deposits/natural resources/fuels in the 3 kilometre sheet of ice. If we need that we would just trade with other nations.
