(OOC: read Luxembourg news for the backstory behind the riots, France Germany or Netherlands might wanna get involved, or some other world power)

the riots were being voiced and led by the self proclaimed spokesman Herr Schmeil, who prefered to refer to himself in German, he was a simple worker in the steel factories but had somehow been placed at the head of this operation, he was shouting from a microphone "FREEDOM FOR THE WORKER!" this of course refered to the obvious scare tactics being used by the goverment, he itched his stump where his hand had been burned off by a falling load of Molten Iron, he shouted towards the police "YOU CAN STOP US BUT YOU CAN'T STOP OUR MESSAGE!" He spat at the police line

Luxembourg Police Force
a large wad of phlegm landed on Officer Willhelm's cheek, he wiped it off in disgust, he hated these uppity worker types, they had no clue as to the current european events but still they put in their blinded views, he recited his orders to himself, to wait until the Belgian forces arrive and then to arrest as many members as possible, this would stop any other riots and put the people in their place, he laughed and spat back at the Workers.

As the 9th Commando Brigade arrived lead by Leftenit Colonel Charlerey they were briefed about the current riots and the apparent leader a certain Herr Schmeil. LC Carlerey decided to set up 100 Snipers and 100 Machine Gunners on roof tops around the rioters. They were given a description of Herr Schmeil and told that if the riots could not be contained they should immediately execute him. LC Charlerey was then lead to Duke William IV residence to be briefed on what he wished to do. The 1,800 Commandos joined with the Police wielding Rifles and Pistols...

the mob had no great weapons training or skill, nor did they know how to fight a great battle but they did outnumber the police and the Belgian troops, Schmeil was continuing to shout out to both the crowd and to the Police.

Weillburg Country Home
the former holiday home had been converted quickly into a makeshift command bunker, Army officials moved from room to room keeping the Duke updated, a Belgian man Charlerey was shown to the Duke, William looked up at the Leftenit Colonel, "i assume your here to be breifed, very well, we want as little bloodshed as possible, the aim is to stop events like this from happening again, incapacitate as many off the Riotous workers as possible but try not to cause too many casualties." The Duke carried on with some paperwork.

"Very well" Charlerey had a runner sent to the police and troops...
Begin attempts at arresting rioters and use little force. If necessary a slight clubing may be used but the Duke wants as few casualties as possible. Weapons are only to be utilized if all rioters begin attacking. If this occurs the top priority is to either eliminate or capture Herr Schmeil. Godspeed.

Schmeil noticed movement in the Police ranks, he dived to ground and popped back up his hands full of rocks, he threw as strong as he could into the police crowd, the rock struck home and a policeman was knocked back, the rest of the crowd began to pick up rocks and soon all were throwing at the police crowd.

Luxembourg Police Force
Officer Willhelm thought to himself, "screw arresting these B*stards!" He quickly turned to the rest of the Police and the Belgian forces, "Weapons! Use force, kill the b*ggars!" he himself drew his service revolver and bagan to fire into the Riot.

He adjusted his scope, it was trained on the reputed leader of this riot. This trained killer was readying to take the life of this civil disident. He held his breath, gripped the trigger, and shot. The bullet hit its mark tearing through the skull of the rebel. An onslaught of machine gun and rifle fire ensued. The Commandos mercilessly massacered the rioters that were in front of them. Machine gun fire poured into the massed crowd and a bloody event happened that would either throw the country into civil war or solidly place the monarchy at the head of the government...

Schmeil was dead, but right no-one really cared, the mob was charging full speed adrenalin pumping right towards the enemy, rocks were flying through the air and bloody men were crawling away, deaths on both sides had reached the hundreds but the fight was not over yet, the mob would keep fighting until the last man was dead.

The Commandos began to utilize thier special training. The line of Commandos began to fall back while the machine gunners and snipers began to concentrate thier fire on the flanks. as soon as they could the combined Police and Commando forces would warp around the flanks and attack from all sides. They were also utilizing a new weapon a "grenade" which they would fling into the crowds and explode.

OOC: gotta take a shower so no response for a good 10-15 minutes

the largest portion of the Mob had now ran back to their houses, they were fleeing death so that they could spread word of the attrocities commited on this day, the rest of the Riot were outgunned, outnumbered and outskilled, they continued in vein to fight the Police

The day had been won but a sleeping giant had been awakened...
