“Come on Admiral you know you already told them not to stop, or they would encounter problems. It shouldn't have taken them very long. Now, you know what to do, go out to the Avenger and wait for them. That’s an order. "

The Admiral couldn't not take orders from the only person ranked higher than him. His wife.

“Sure, cya later”

He quickly beamed himself up to the Avenger which was waiting in orbit around Athens.

He walked onto the bridge and the Comm. system came up for him as soon as he sat down. “Dear god, this new AI bridge crew is starting to creep me out already. The computer responded “Welcome to the Bridge Admiral Willing bringing main systems online. Comm. Open and ready for you sir! "
* Dear lord * he thought to himself.

“Is the task force ready?”

The AI Responded “Yes Sir 18 Ships sitting on the outside of the system including 5 Siegfried’s and 13 new heavy metal battle ships. If anything were to go hasty, they had more than enough firepower to back it up. And the Avenger was on Standby to great the new visitors.

Commodore Frank Miller's cruiser squadron sped through hyperspace at 6000 lightyears per hour, the shifting blue and green tunnel before him was hypnotic in its variations. A chime sounded from the helm station and the tunnel vanished to be replaced with the starfield of the Athens system.

The twelve Valiant-class cruisers engaged their drives and headed towards the rendevous point where the ECF flotilla was waiting.

"Prepare for contact everyone." Commodore Miller said.

Admiral Harrison saw the new ships on his sensors and opened a COMM to the alien vessels. “Hello, this is Admiral Harrison, we will be escorting you into the system today, please follow me, 1/2 impulse power,”

His Flotilla of ships begun to move towards the planet at 1/2 impulse power.

The system of Athens was a power house. The ships passed many massive defense grids. And over 100 shipyards, each one had a warship being built. On the way, a strange grid was taking place; it was in a massive shipyard. Over 15 km long. A large flat ship was taking place. However, nothing but the massive power readings coming from the already active quantum reactors (OOC, just another RL week and the prototype is complete! While it will be awesome, it's nothing compared to the final version). Most captains knew why it was built, and why the Avenger was upgraded, fear from the Xmessthian contact had brought the entire fleet into a new generation of ships. Ships that even the Admiral himself thought that were an evil. To powerful, a complete evil that was not needed.

“We are coming up on the Avenger, I suggest you hail them.” ( Avenger is large thingy you made, with more PDF after my people ICly saw the moniters )
