RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
National Naval Shipyards sells vessels produced and designed by, and only by, a Hogsweatian contractor or shipyard. National Naval Shipyards will refuse to sell to;

Godmodders
Nations that cannot afford the order
Extreme Right Wing nations
Allies of our Enemies

Furthermore, we will refuse to sell ballistic items to nations under the population mark of 50 Million citizens and at least a thriving economy.
WHEN REQUESTING AN ORDER
You MUST post back something after it has been confirmed; otherwise the vessels shall not be produced and shall not be sent to the proprietor.

LIMITS ON VESSELS
*CAPITAL SHIPS:
-No more than 75 Capital ships can be produced at any one time for any single nation at NNS.
-No more than 15 Battleships/Cruisers can be produced at any one time for any single nation at NNS.
-No more than 10 Aircraft Carriers can be produced at any one time for any single nation at NNS.
*SUBSURFACE
-No more than 100 Subsurface vessels can be produced at any one tiime for any single nation at NNS.
-No more than 15 SSBNs can be produced at any one time for any single nation at NNS.
*SUPERMINOR AND MINOR SURFACE VESSELS
-No more than 175 Super/Minor Surface Vessels can be produced at any one time for any single nation at NNS.
-No more than 50 Light Cruisers can be produced at any one time for any single nation at NNS.
Note: ~Esteemed Ally~ status dictates there is no limit for production of vessels.

The Obdurate Class is used extensively by the Union of Trade Management; who are directly responsible for all imports and exports for Hogsweat. At least fourty five Obdurate's fall under the duristriction of the Union of Trade Management for safeguarding of convoy's and trade routes. The Obdurate however, is not actually in direct military use by the Navy itself although the coastguard employs some twenty four vessels for oil rig and fishing protection; [OFPD; Oil and Fishery Protection Duty]
The Obdurate has become a sign of freedom and justice throughout Hogsweatian waters and many a trader recognises it as a sign of safety; as if a barrier to all evil and a beacon of good.

Description:
The Pathfinder Class is currently the only Hogsweatian homegrown Frigate in the Maritime Fleet; numbers for the Pathfinder lay at about thirty vessels under the "P" Classification. most, if not all, of the Maritime Fleet's P Classes are used for small missions, such as special forces deployment and putting down insurrections. The P Class is not intended for actual combat. The Special Forces Flotilla of six Pathfinder Class Vessels is lead by the HMS Praetonia.
The Coast Guard mantain a small unit of six Pathfinder Class vessels, the flottila leader being named "Pristine".
The Pathfinder is in use with Verghastinsel forces; the first ship to be sold to Verghastinsel was the "Promethium".

Description:
The Quality Class has proven itself over and over again to be a valued vessel in the maritime fleet's arsenal and is more than capable of taking on most cruisers at the Ticonderoga level with it's extensive missile capability's. The Quality Class is the first trimaran destroyer to be used in the Maritime fleet; it's popularity shows as nearly three hundred of the vessels and it's variants [the W and the A Classes] have been constructed. The most recent to be made, the last of the last A Class Batch from Edinburgh Military Shipyards was HMS Andromeda.
The W Class Refit specialises in anti air warfare as it removes space for the second helicopter and replaces it with a 50 cell VLS; and the A in anti submarine as it enlargens rear VLS and adds a tube for ASROC work.
The refits are only used in the Hogsweatian Maritime Fleet;they are not for purchase.

The County class is the first arsenal ship to serve in the Maritime Fleet - all others have been, in the conventional sense, just Heavy Cruisers with guns and missiles. However the County's gunless armament doesn't mean it's defenseless against surface targets - the County has full abilities to launch systems like TLAM, and Hogsweat's own Expounder system is built in to launch Sunburn sized missiles at enemy targets.
There are fourty five County's in the fleet - three for every battle group and one for every Carrier Group. The most recent County has been named HMS Cropper.

The young man, no older that eighteen marched down a corridor with the air of carrying an errand for someone infinitely more important, the lad was equipped with a face too innocent for war and ears too big for his head, hence the unfortunate man being given to Comrade General Melchett (http://www.british-sitcom.co.uk/blackadder/graphics/char_melchett2.gif) as an adjutant. The sombre procession down the corridor, the cream folder tucked into chest clothed in drab olive lost some of its seriousness when the uproarious laughter of Melchett himself made itself known. Grey light pouring in through the windows onto the dark marble tiles added to the conflict of the austere corridor against the jovial chortling of the merry general, yellow light pooling at the open door ahead of the big eared lad staving off the dour grey of the sky.

The distance between the boy and the doorway disappeared and when the young man finally got a look inside the room, a sickly look swept across his face. By Fedor…he has his bloody toy soldiers out. And sure enough, there was General Melchett, pushing plastic Proletarian Guardsmen to and fro on a scale battlefield with his pointer, usually used for marking out positions on a battle map, it was being commandeered for a less-than-important task today. It was all the boy could do not to sigh as a father would at a disappointed child; except Melchett was no child. He was in his sixties but the blind happiness of youth had never left the pleased face, slick hair and moustache told of a pampered life and he gave the aura of someone who had never actually been in a battle, despite commanding those who have.

Moving with much caution, disturbing the general during “play time” could result in a furious temper. A bottle of whiskey sat by, half of its contents absent and the mood of the general making it apparent where it had gone. Then, despite being locked into an alcohol induced stupor, he noticed the young man and greeted him with a merry “hello” and then commenting on what was held to the young man’s chest, coming to, the lad produced the cream folder and the familiar crackle of paper told that the contents were being handed to the drunk general, the older man’s brow furrowed in thought as he read the markings known as writing printed onto the paper with mechanical precision.

”Why boy, this isn’t a job for the army, nay! This is to do with the navy you little fool!” Chastised the Comrade General with a smile, then added: “take this to old Heatherton, ships are his cup of tea!”

Nodding in acknowledgement, the young man turned from the general, taken aback at the good mood despite being interrupted during playtime, he set off down the corridor to find another door, this one not open. Dark pine barred the lad’s route but this was bypassed with a click as the young man turned the sparse golden knob, door swinging open, the man stepped into a less happy mood, a dimly lit office, a weathered Fleet Admiral Heatherton (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/Kriegorgrad/images.jpg) sat at a desk crafted of the same wood as the door, glancing a look up, he simply bade the young man put the cream folder on the desk. Only a while after the adjutant left, did Heatherton even bother to look at the contents of the cream card.
