NationStates Jolt Archive

After the collapse of the U.S.A. and the E.U. in 2020, the rest of the world was not far behind. Few nations survived the collapse of global infrastructure and fewer have re-formed into countries. Anarchy roams the streets and those not strong enough to protect themselves are taken advantage of and exploited. In this New Dark Age your job is to create a safehaven for people against the anarchy that reigns beyond your borders.

This has been done but only in Europe and died quickly due to an off site forum and some shabby rping. Therefor I want to recreate this as a new Earth. Each nation will be allowed 3 claims. One large claim(ex. germany or eastern us) and 2 smaller ones(ex. denmark or luxembourg) or you may claim one huge nation such as Brazil instead of three.

The rules are the same as you will find in most RP's except we will use half the country we claims population and take 5% for the Army. No godmoding of course and no n00ks. We will use modern and slightly future tech such as weapons that would exist in 10 years. Perhaps a weaponized lazer for tanks? All NPC states will be rped by another member of the Earth according to the possible stats of the country you are invadeing. All political ideologies are accepted just try not to use racial slurs or too much profanity. Also when you claim the territories please create a name for the new country. i will list Rper/country name after the claims.

My experience with off forum is quite bad seeing as I've had one rp off forum that surpassed 1,000 posts so it will be on Jolt. We will have a link thread where all links to IC events can be posted. After this fills up i will apoint moderators for tech, economics, and military so I'm hopeing this can be organized and survive a while.

Eh, sure I'll join in. I'm claiming the United Kingdom as a large country, Ireland as a small country, and Iceland as the other small country. Naming it Glasbyd. Its Welsh so the name fits. :D

I don't think your Nationstates country's size has any correspondence to this country.

Your NS rating has no say here and you only get 3 countries or one big one read a little bit earlier in the thread, why not take parts of Africa? Nones there yet and you could be the first real power there and the map is looking really spare right now.

Thanks for bumping this thread yesterday, I signed up as Mexico a little while ago.

Anyway from what I can see there are still alot of "choice" countries left, theres plenty of room in SE Europe, N. Asia (including Japan) and Africa only has two people in it..so it isnt too late to sign up, I think most of the other guys have only invaded a country or two at most.
