The People's Navy, looking to compensate for its relatively small size at present, is looking for new weaponry to gain an edge on the battle field. To this end, we have opted to begin experiments in improved torpedo weaponry.

People's Hammer Antimatter Torpedo

Utilizing the equilvalent of a 14V battery, an internal generator keeps 50kg antimatter seperated from a 50kg load of Deuterium Gas, mined from New Leningrad. A JTC-2a Guidance Computer maintains the torpedo's course, guiding it to its target and keeping it going nose first. The torpedo either detonates on impact using a pressure switch in the nose that activates after a heavy force (say, a full frontal impact on enemy shielding or hull plating), or shuts off the anitmatter containment field and opens the deuterium canister at a preprogrammed distance from the target upon a manual command or a timed fuse.

Stats:
Name: People's Hammer Antimatter Torpedo
Size: 1.5m long, .5m wide
Warload: 160kg Antimatter/Deuterium Binary Charge w/ 14V Powerpack for a low yield forcefield, 1x ToSh-1 Shield System to protect the torpedo
Range: 1 lightweek-3 lightyears maximum
Engine: ToE-1 Hydrogen Fusion Motor with integrated ToFTL-1 Hyperdrive Unit
Speed: 80 MGLT
Body: Leninite-Manganese-Titanium Shell, Diamond hull plating for extra ray-shield defense
Blast Magnitude: Classified, estimated to be able to open a hole the size of Africa if fired at the Earth.
Role: Fleet superiority
Deployed on: Mao Zedong Battleships, Zaitsev ISD, Peter Townshend Mobile Suit (Modified for use in MSGEP-1 Guided Explosive Projectile Launcher), all ND Navy Ships.
Cost: USD$50,000,000

People's Scythes are similar, but exchange antimatter for 160kg of neutronium and a "dumbed-down" singularity generation drive to induce implosion and the creation of an unstable, violent singularity that exists for minutes at most, that sucks in whatever it comes in contact with.

ToLa-4 Anaconda System

Drawing upon the inspirations of the Warhammer 40k derivative game "Battlefleet Gothic" and its "Spine Guns," and the numerous concepts for "smartguns" with flexible barrels introduced in movies such as Aliens, the Anaconda is a new system meant to increase the accuracy of the standard proton torpedo or any such torpedo being fired.

The concept centers around a standard turret, fitted with a tube with two magnetic rails and a flexible end. The concept centers around the torpedo being launched out of the tube at accelerated speeds, before moving on its own power. To prevent accidents with te flexible end, a special sabot is fitted onto the torpedo in question to keep it moving in the tube's flexible end, and buffet any sort of jerky or excessive vibrations, using a combination of shielding and vibration-absorbing foam materials. The flexible end is meant to increase the accuracy of the turret. The end works by movement using Leninite Steel Cables to steer the end in the direction of a target, aimed using a system of targeting lasers and microwaves to pinpoint the target's location. The ends are adjusted by as much as 30-35 degrees to ensure maximum accuracy within reasonable considerations for the torpedo inside the tube.

In addition, to aid accuracy, new targeting equipment similar to that of the People's Hammer Torpedo is being added on now onto Anaconda System torpedoes, allowing for an independent lock onto the target upon exit as well.

Replicator technology, imported from Calpe, is being integrated into each turret to allow for quick reloading of torpedoes, using a unit large enough for making torpedoes linked to the ship's power systems, or powered by an auxiliary battery good for 36 hours. This effectively ensures that, provided with a constant power supply and easily convertible materials (such as waste, scrap metals or explosives; we are working on improved versions that will utilize more materials), a constant flow of conventionally armed torpedoes is possible. However, special torpedoes like the People's Hammer are still made by specialty labs and loaded manually, to ensure safe handling.

The Anaconda System is slated for use on all People's Navy Ships and fighters, as well as the Keith Moon Mobile Suit, the Komsomol II, and the John Entwistle Guncannon Suit (it is being modified for use with the railcannons).

OOC: Would you be willing to sell production rights to this bad boy? This would give our spacecraft a hell of a punch.

OOC: Well, only to guys I really trust. Like you :)

As for the "Anaconda," general warning, that's gotta get fixed, so expect a mass edit for that.

IC:

We will sell the design to you, provided that a Non-Disclosure Agreement is signed and USD$24,000,000 is paid for delivery of plans and examples in sealed containers.

OOC: I estimate it is a One Teraton yield explosion.

(OOC: So you're saying that your torpedo has more explosive force than the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004? And can devastate an area several thousand miles across. if detonated on Earth?

EDIT: For reference, a photon torpedo has about a 67.5 megatons of explosive force.

(All numbers above I'm very inclined to be way off on.))

OOC: Oh yeah.

EDIT: It is a fleet superiority thing, we obviously aren't gonna shoot this willy-nilly at any planets. Our main objectives are to take planets intact; durign wars of that sort.

(OOC: Oh no. You don't seem to get my point, you'll need more anti-matter to do that. The math doesn't add up. Up the antimatter onboard. A lot more.)

OOC: I'm glad you find me trustworthy. :)

I'll post an IC response to that message tomorrow. I'd be happy to pay for production rights.

OOC EDIT: Ah, what the hell, I'm having a bit of insomnia, might as well buy them now.

IC: The Democratic Republic would be most pleased to acquire the production rights for the "Hammerblow" (our designation) Antimatter Torpedo, and agrees to the NDA. $24 million has been wired to your accounts.

Thank you, sirs. The shipment will reach Halbergardian Space within two days (OOC: By the time you get this). And the price was USD$24 million, not billion; we'd hate to overcharge.

Very well, these terms are acceptable. We will begin shipment of the plans and two torpedoes; they will reach you in two days (OOC: You'll get them by the time you read this). A pleasure doing business.
