The Hairina System
"This isn't real!" Screamed Lord King Hairin, King of the Hairina Confederation. He looked at the reports again, paling. "Are these reports going to be highly accurate?" He nearly wispered.
"No chance they are wrong enough to make a differance Father" he heard his son report. "The Enemy have destroyed all known major cities."
"But we had units in positon to stop them!" He said, turning and screaming red faced.
"And the lot where torn to shreads. I told you father, ships that size don't come in peace."
"What was that message they sent us before attacking?" he said quickly.
The son tapped a number of buttons on the consol, and a message began to sound through out the room.
People of the Hairina system.
You are scedualed for Extermination, your harbouring of human life is strictly forbidden, we gave you a chance to surrender humans over to us, and you did not, now we shall destroy you to a degree of power like you have never seen, and leave you to try and pick up the pieces, thank you.
The Kran of Liacia.
The king shivered. "What does that mean?" He asked.
"In short? Their going to destroy every single city town and settlement, warship and army base, and leave any survivors to fend for themselves on the remaining husk." He said in an emotionless voice. "You where wrong father, now we suffer." As if summoned by his words, an annoucnment came across the base.
"Ship spotted, incoming. To defencive positions!" Came the scream.
The two men ran to the veiwing portal, and looked out. Sure enough, arriving from the west was the massive circular ship heading towards them. "Launch fighters!" the man screamed. "Before they take us out on the ground!"
The sound of gunshots accomponied his orders, and The Lord King saw his remaing foot soldiers trying to take on the implacible enemy. Seeing his troops fighting the enemy filled him with a sense of dread. Each one was a perfect warrior, built quite obviously for war. Four legs supported a lizard like body human height off the ground. Then two more leg like things extended off the forward shoudlers, which had been proven to be able to be hands as well. On the side of the Dimond like heads, was the Weapon, the same sort that acomponied the ships and such. He watched as fighters took off, engaging the faster enemy half way.
"Report!" he screamed.
"Their dropping like flies father, all previous advancement we made against their technology has been blunted by the sheer amount they out number us by."
"How many of them did we kill?" he asked bleakly. "At least we should go like warriors."
"Aye, we did father, Five of those over sized disks where turned to molten metal, although the cost was high. We now however will face More then we can handle. We have made reports, we will not even make it to the Disk."
"How can you be so calm!" He roared. "Our race will die, what is left of it will be forced to srounge of rocks. All because we assisted a ship of humans! Where is the diginity?"
"Whats done is done father, be careful, they are about to move into poistion."
The King watched in horror, as their troops rose into the shuttles that where entering the Fifteen Mile across ship. The massive craft moved above him, and he saw the center begin to open. "Code counts down to time of fire?" He asked simply.
"Five...four...three...two...one" Their was a moment of blue light, before the massive blue ball dropped down and struck the station, creating a massive wave of destruction. Within seconds, the base was gone.
All over the planet, this scean repeated itself. The final bases of the Planet fell to pieces, and the massive ships mearly lifted themselves from the planet. They headed towards the Home Ship, the craft was almost Three Hundred Miles in length, and contained the Entire Liacian population within it. When the reports came, Kran's began to converse. They could not continually sustain these kinds of losses. Presently their population was driven to a stand still. They needed allies...to a point. They would do so later however, now, they would begin the extraction of resorses from the planet. This world would mearly become one of a thousand. Less warlike ships droped, and the Home Ship moved into a lower orbit. Shuttles began ferrying to and from the planets surface. Extermination had finished, extraction had begun.

OOC: Excellent start, in fact. Tag.
OOC: Excellent introduction, and well written. As a side note many nations use humans as a large part of their population, going on a general 'destroy all humans' campaign could have negative ramifications. Like total annhilation, just a comment and its your choice. Otherwise excellent start, I might get involved later.
(OOC)
Basicly, I have been reading the posts around. Yea I know being Humanicidle will end badly, but I don't always react this way, just when we have a chance of winning. One of our differencnes from other Cidle nations is that their hatred clouds their judgement, well our judgement isn't clouded by our hatered, we trade with humans, and then when it comes we can get away with it, kill them. All works well, we will negotiate with them, if they can destroy us. If not, we kill do this sort of thing. So normal first contact stuff you have.
OOC: My people aren't human themselves, but I know a lot of humans might take the casual extermination of every human you reasonably can personally. That will make for excellent RPing, with you trying to hide the fact that you routinely slaughter humans if possible.

Captain`s Log, Stardate 398282.6, ISS Vori
We are currently in an unchartered area of space. We have left our part of space ten days ago, and we havent found anything worth reporting since. We are curently heading for a system three light years from here, and we`re hoping something interesting will show up sooner or later. The system has been named for the moment Psi 187.
ISS Vori bridge
`Captain on the bridge`, snaped lt. Nomat to attention.
`Carry on.`, said Captain Surak with a smile.`Anything new?`
`We were about to contact you captain. It seems there are signs of inteligent life in system Psi 187. Shall we proceed?`
`Yes. Raise status to Yellow allert and take us in.`
`Aye sir!`
The imperial heavy cruiser, one kilometer long and one and a half wide, made the jump couple of minutes later, appearing in the system.
`Sir, we are detecting signs of destruction on the planet. It seems they were atacked by the ship in orbit.`
`Send a message to them. Here is what you ask them...`
Unknown ship, this is the Vori, of the Calpian Empire. We have detected signs of destruction on the planet below you. Please explain...
(OOC)
FYI the ships where not in orbit, have you seen Indipendance day? Basicly same situation.
(IC)
The Watch Kran rose, looking at the ships design. It let the hive know attacking is not permitted at this time. It then clambered along the ship and into a Plate. The massive ship detached and moved towards the Calpe Ship. Quite Diliberately. Size was always a establishing factor in these sorts of things.
To you
What we do to our own planets is our own bussiness, should you wish to talk, we will gladly do so, but the destruction of the people on the planet is NOT of your concern, so please do not Pretend it is.
The Watching Kran.
Surak raised an eyebrow and replayed the message once more.
`Mister Nomat, send a message to ISF Central Command. Mark species 112 as hostile, and with little regard for the lifes of their own people. Contact to be avoided in the future if possible. Send coordinates of their system and sensor data on that mothership.`
`Aye sir. An alien ship is closing in on us sir!`
`Hmm. Thats a big ship. What weaponry do they carry?`
`We cant handle it by ourselves sir. Should i request reinforcements?`
`Not yet lieutenant. So they want to play? Their message, though somewhat hostile, didnt sugest an immediate threat. Send a message...`
Alien ship, we are not hostile, but you seem to be. Please do not aproach, or we will be forced to open fire. We will not interfere in your own matters....just observe for the moment and decide if you`re worth opening diplomatic relations with.

Near The Hairina System: 12:56 SST(Seal Standard Time)
Silence filled the void of deep, black space. So silent it was, the 3 blue, gigantic engines propelling the Star Destroyer Freedom though the vacumm was not heard.
In the bridge, Commander Laganor, a young, brown haired officer, stood on the deck, looking out past the shatter-resistant glass toward the twinkling stars and glowing planets slowly moving past the Star Destroyer.
An aide said, "Sir, we're getting something... strange..."
Laganor walked over to the aide, "What is it?" he asked in a neutral, no-nonsense tone.
"Well... we're getting massive activity reports near Hairina... they're almost like... explosions..."
The commander closed his eyes, pausing in concentrated thought. The aide knew better than to interrupt his commander's meditating, and kept silent. Soon, the eyes opened, a fire burning in the commander's eyes.
"Take us to the Hairina system. Put all decks on alert and prepare for battle, just in case."
The Star Destroyer jumped into hyperspace, reemerging a few minutes later. The planet appeared to be ravaged by space fire, and a lone Imperial Heavy Cruiser was orbiting the planet, an unknown alien ship closing in on it. The crew tensed, but the commander kept calm and hailed the Heavy Cruiser.
"Imperial Heavy Cruiser, this is Joseph Seal Imperial Star Destroyer Freedom, Commander Laganor in command. Identify yourself and please tell us what's going on here..."

The Kran watched slowly, as his ship slowed and stoped within range of the enemy. He would not however, attack. He watched slowly, waiting for them to make the first move. Behind him, the main ships mearly mines the surface for minerals that where usful to them. He then noticed the other ships entering his system, and wondered...

What do you wish with us? If once more you wish to open diplomatic procedures, this very ship will be our host. Should you move towards our home ship at this time, it will be considered hostle, our planet is our own buissness.

IC: The Imperial Republic of Deatharon had sent a scout mission into the local star system a small taskforce of 4 ships had picked up a odd energy signatures from the nearby system. The Task force immediately decides to check it out. The Ships were one Imperial Battlecruiser, and 3 Scout frigates.

As the crew listened to the transmission, their muscles, amazingly, tensed even more, while Laganor displayed perfect military protocol, stone-faced and silent.
Soon though, he spoke. "Interesting... global destruction of their own people. Only reasons for that are a global rebellion... or a global genocide... ensigns, send a transmission thanking the captain of the information. Also, send the coordinates of our location of Joseph Seal and label it as "Caution". Meanwhile, prepare a transmission for the alien vessel..."
The crew worked, all the while maintaining an eye on the alien planet and vessel. Soon, the commander was signaled to begin speaking.
Attention alien vessel, this is the Star Destroyer Freedom, part of the Imperial Seal Democracy of Joseph Seal. Commander Laganor in command. Please identify yourselves and explain what is going on here. And I ask you not to use violence, or deny our requests, or you may regret it later...
OOC: Grah. You edited... let's just assume we (The Freedom) didn't get that transmission...

OOC: Fantastic start Liacia! Tagged, and I'll make my entrance soon.
The Watcher waited. The ships hanger opened wide, and a blue light emited from the area. However, he needed to time the sheilds just right. He waited for a moment, then lowered them. The ship passed through and instantly they where raised once more. He ignored the Deatharon ships, they would have recived his message, so they would not.
The shuttle would enter the hanger, although that was not nessersarily the right term. The Interior was actually large enough for a dog fight to take place. The shuttle was flanked by two fighters, and a third moved in front of it to lead it to the first landing platform. It was like a helicoper pad, and about Five hundred meaters long connected to a towering pillar. The fighters landed effortlessly and the two Cockpits where raised and the two Liac's rose out. They where soldiers, it was a testimate to their race. They where massive, a human would only arrive at the shoulder, and then they had the body and top legs to boot. Their heads, a sligtly dimond like, had a tube on the other side, a form of energy weapon similar to the fighters ones. Scuttleing from the other side of the Platform, the Watcher Kran came bounding across, moving swiftly across the platform. He stood at the platform waiting for the shuttle to land.
OOC: i think make a contribution soon, im also new to RP so might make a few mistakes to start with
The shuttle landed, and few seconds later the door opened. The four sentinels exited first, and positioned themselves near the door. At two meters and a half in height, they were quite a sight to see. They had each a blade atached to their left arm, and an assault rifle in the other, beeing dressed in the traditional armour of the Sentinels, that gave them even more power then they had. They stood proud, defying with their eyes the aliens that were before them. A few seconds later the two humans left the shuttle, passing through the sentinels and arriving in front of the alien that seemed to be the leader.
`Tak`Mora sir. I am diplomat Thelka, and this is commander Nomat. We represent the Calpian Empire in these talks.`
The sound of a low growl from one of the Liacs was greeted with a massive bark from the Watcher, who then looked at the humans before him. He didn't even bother trying to speak with his mouth, knowning he would remove a toung if he did. Instead he went straight to telepathy.
We are the Liac, as you can see, we are not mearly weak children, but fighters. We have many things to trade, praticly its a take your pick we most likely have it. Our Home ship will make a Plate Specially designed to carry the transport goods to and from your world. As you can see they have quite a capacity for cargo. What would we want in return? Things to assist. We have a mission, although we are forbidden to speak about it, we must make it happen. his eyes changed from a type of yellow to a dark black, a type of laughter. Now, what have you to offer?
I`m sure we can find something to trade. From goods, food or some technology that might not be classified as secret by our government. Our sensors showed that you are harvesting the resources off the planet. I`m sure we can help you by providing resources and maybe replicator technology if you dont have it. We are interested in a non-agression pact also, as though we have a strong military, we dont believe in conflict, unless chalenged.

The message was heard by a Founder on the Jem'Hadar Battleship.
A Male Vorta Commander slightly bowed as the founder walked on to the bridge.
" Founder how may we serve you."
The Founder looks at the Vorta " I will send out a message to these Liac"
Attention Liac we are The Dominion. We bring order to the universe. We wish to start talks with you. However i do not hold much trust for Solids. They let their emotions and fear of what we Founders are guid them. So we ask you send some one to our ship to start talks.
Very well...replicators, this is not an idea we are familiar with, could you explain this idea please? Technology we are happy to share, although to a degree.
It works at a molecular level. It uses raw material to recreate anything from food to basic objects. It is prefered that the raw material is similar in substance as the thing beeing created, because less energy is used up this way. It is a much cheaper way to create small to medium objects or materials then simply making them. For example food. You put a dish with food in it, the replicator dematerializes the food, and the pattern is stored in memory from that moment on. Anytime you like you can order the replicator that food and it will appear in exactly the same way that the sample tasted or looked. Once you have finished eating you place the plate back into the replicator, where its turned back to raw material to be used at a later date. In theory any object can be made from any basic raw material, but in practice significant energy saving can be made by using certain materials; for replication of food items an organic particulate suspension is used; a combination of long chain molecules , this substance has been specially designed, statistically speaking, to require the minimum number of molecular transformations to achieve the maximum variety of foodstuffs. Equivalent stocks are available for replication of non foodstuffs, with the control computer making the choice automatically. This is how it works for us. I`m sure we could exchange that data if you are interested in it.
A single fighter exited the massive ship, heading towards the Zetan craft. When it was within about a few hundred meaters, it halted. Waiting to be shown where to land.
Watcher Kran lisened with intrest. After the explination was finished his eyes turned a pure black, with no other colour. When he messaged it was with a humoured tone to it.

Aye, our technology. As you can see, we have very good weapons, our hull armour is very usful, it distributes Most beam weapons along the entire top half of the hull, once going through the sheilds this means an almost usless attacks using beam weapons, and the sheilds are very resistant to all projectile like weapons. Our weapons include highly energized, using a powerfuly focused weapon. Our Superior Lasers are testimate to the remains of the cities on the planet, tests will not be given however.

They tend to distrust and fear Shapeshifters such as my self. I wish to start talks of a None Aggression Pact between our people. The watcher nodded. This would be an easy gain.
Mining is very easy. We mearly use a large amount of gravity to rip up the earth over a small spot, pulling towards our ship. It literally rips apart the ground. Then once in our ships we lossen the rock and our miners crush it. Then they mearly extract the minerals from it.

We find this to be a useful trade. The technology to rip up portions of earth and bring it to the ship would be a nice adition to be used on the planets that arent populated in our space. Our engineers can proceed with this exchange if you agree. We will bring several small and medium sized replicators, along with schematics, and show you how they work, in exchange for the mining technology. If this is acceptable, then we would also like to propose a non-agression pact.
The Liac looked at the Founder and made a sound.
I am here to talk, to make these things happen. Yet I am not a Kran, mearly a Soldier. You see me as a speaker and diplomat, we have no need of these things, never have, yet now we do. On the bridge an alarm goes off on the Tac Officers console....
"I am reading a massive energy surge from a nearby system..." says the Tac. "There goes another one..... It's about 420 million kilometers distance, coming from one of the planets in the system...."
"Class?" asks Vice Admiral Gentry.
"It's definitely habitable..... Though I don't have detailed scans at this range..." responds the Tac.
"Helm", commands the VADM. "Replot insertion into the system...."
"Aye sir..." responds a young officer at the helm...
Energies swell, as the Scimitar turns, a wormhole tears open in the fabric of space time; the craft slipping effortlessly inside, and emerging seconds later a few 100 thounsand kilometers from the planet.... moments later, the wormhole evaporates into space, as the Scimitar's power signature drops.... The craft cruises at several klicks towards the planet... on fast approach..... Energy beams can be detected as it probes the planet and everything in its immediate vacinity.....
The small vessel emerged from the moons shadow
Status Change:
Multiple Energy and Mass signatures detected
Estimation:
2 Destroyer/Cruiser Class vessel and 1 Mothership Class vessel in Proximity to potentially Habitable Planet on far side of system
1 Carrier Class vessel on approach to planet from outside of system
Differing Signatures Suggest ships from Different Nations
Mass signatures indicate severely outclassed.
Actions:
Perform InSytem Jump
Prepare Emergency Jump Procedure
Proceed to Observe and Investigate at Long Range
Retreat at first sign of Hostility
Additional:
Surveyed Moon appears to have Sensor Blocking properties Schedule for further Investigation.
The probe engages its jump engines and enters a portal into subspace and appear a few minutes latter in a debris field a few 100 km from the planet
This is acceptable, you may leave Came his reply, before he turned and moved back towards the power core.
The Soldier nodded, smiling. We have used humans, many times. Their greed always ends up drying up when we show them what they just payed out for. Never has one wished the money then, which is good, for we would not give it to them. Humans are to be discarded when not used. He nodded. Weapons would be nice
the message continued to broadcast across the system, the people should know that approching the Home Ship was a threat. Thus, three Warships disengaed from the massive Three hunded Mile craft and opened their main cannons, which where ready to fire in an instant, and where pointed at the TRSS Scimitar.
To you
You have just arrived in this system, so we will forgive you for this lapse. Move away from the home ship, NOW. Should you not you will be deemed a threat. You have Five minutes to respond.

The pod was treated with the same hostility, but the fighters that engaged it did not fire, mearly circaled at the same message was broadcasted to it.
The calpians turned and entered back the shuttle. Several minutes later they were aboard the Vori, reporting back to the captain about what they talked. Soon after that, the liceans were marked in the database as neutral, instead of hostile, but still, to be aproached with caution.
TRSS Scimitar, Bridge...
"Incomming message from the large vessel in orbit...." the Comm. officer blurts.... His thick silicate 'skin' glistening in the bridge lighting...
The Communications officer is a Puritikos; a silicate lifeform native to Celestus; one of the six member dominions which make up the Republic of Tekania...
"Put it through," commands Vice Admiral Gentry....
You have just arrived in this system, so we will forgive you for this lapse. Move away from the home ship, NOW. Should you not you will be deemed a threat. You have Five minutes to respond.

"Open a channel, audio and video...." commands the Vice Admiral...
**** Transmission ****
Vice Admiral Gentry can be seen standing in the center of the screen; his black uniform with gold trim standing deeply with his almost royal blue skin; His eyes contrasting, and glowing a deep; almost blood red.... The Admiral is a Tekaniou; a member of the race on the homeworld which founded the Republic; and still makes up a bulk of it's population... In the background a singular creature which looks like nothing much more than an animated reddish-grey rock; and several more Tekaniou; with a peppering of humans in the crew going about duties....
The Vice Admiral begins to speak....
"I am Vice Admiral Gentry" he says," Commander of the Tekanian Republic Stellar Ship Scimitar, experimental strike carrier of the Stellar Navy... We have detected large bursts of energy from this system, consistent with massive weapons fire... We are here to investigate this incident further... Interference will not be tollerated with GEDRA Charter initiatives while carrying out an investigation of this incident.... We will halt advance at the present time; though we will remain in present position untill we have fully ascertained the nature of this incident......"
"Scimitar, out....." he finishes.
The Vice Admiral then signals to the rock creature; and the transmission cuts out...
**** End Transmission ****
"Tac..." commands the vice admiral, "Engage shields; activate armor.... Helm, hold position...."
The Scimitar slows and stops at its present position.... And then begins to darken; it's hull going from a grey to almost black. High levels of neutronium; a deep and dense metal can be detected "growing" over the vessels hull; just before its shields come online; and block scans....
You
Creatures are foolish. This is OUR WORLD, and what happens is OUR CHOICE. Should you move any closer, you will be Destroyed! This is a warning. Should you continue to move towards our planet, we will not be held responsible for your actions!

THIS message was sent to all ships, the others besides the scimitar where told at the begining this was sent to a ship. They had been asked nicely, if they continued it would be their own faults.
