"By the creed of the Grand ruler of Neoma, He has decided that you will be sentenced to death for the acts of... Assault, Assault with a deadly weapon, Assault with intent to kill, Murder, Conspiracy to commit mass murder, and Shoplifting."
two men wearing a black suits, one carried a knife while the other one carried a plas-gun (a plasma gun) walked across the square and stood behind the men.
"Begin!" the man knife grabbed a man by the hair held his head back and ran the blade across his throat. blood spewed from the cut and projected about a foot in front of the kneeling man. While the man with the knife moved on to the second prisoner the second man came up with the plasgun and shot the bleeding prisoner in the back of the head ending his suffering. The beam from the plasgun went through his head into the plascrete and made a small smoldering crater. Then he moved to the second prisoner which whose throat had already been cut, he shot him and moved on to the third.

There was roar of approval from the crowd as the third man was executed.
