does anyone have any suggestions on how to work out equivalent $ values for available budgets from a technocratic FT county/planet etc.
internally the county does not use money but energy requirements for production of items to determine there value (no for profit companies or industry, and all citizens get an allowance for personal possessions and housing, transport and other expensive things are provided free by the state) all production is based on demand, 1 in 1 out and items are built to last, so any surplus is only to handle replacement of items as they break
i have looked at calculators but there values don't seem to be very representative of this type of organisational structure
and im not sure how an economic rating applies to a system where
items are only produced as need requires (or for predicted need) and for some external barter trade.
i need reasonable values for budgets military etc. for use in comparison with other countries
