The Emperor's Castle, Bahamonde, El Caudillo

"We have a problem," Emperor Anastasio VI said very softly, his voice gentle but his eyes predatory and cold as ice. "A very grave problem."

"Wh-what problem would that be, Your Majesty?" Chancellor Adolfo Portocarrero replied, his calm, measured tone belying the panic that gnawed at his belly.

"Here," the Emperor said, unveiling a map. "Pink is El Caudillan territory, red is the huge gap between our German and Italian territory."

Portocarrero contemplated that. "Oh, my," he said. "There is indeed a disturbingly ample amount of territory sandwiched between the two. But I see no reason for alarm. One of our staunchest allies, The Transylvania, has dominion over the territory."

The Emperor nodded. "Mmm, The Transylvania," he replied, as if recalling an old memory. "Count JWolf is quite the character, is he not?" The Emperor's smile was benign but his eyes were devoid of emotion.

"Yes, I guess." Portocarrero was not sure how to reply.

"I want that territory, Mr. Portocarrero," the Emperor said, brusquely. "And when I want something, I tend to become quite violent if I don't get it."

The blood drained from Portocarrero's face. "S-So I've seen, Your Majesty," he said, absently wiping perspiration from his brow with a linen cloth. "So, what do you expect us to do, parade in there with our military, raise hell and wreak havoc, and expect JWolf to just smile demurely and hand over that territory on a silver platter?"

"Of course not. I pray to the Almighty we will not have to resort to that. I treasure JWolf's friendship. We will first offer to compensate him financially for the territory. If he refuses...well, we'll see where it goes from there. You know what to do, Mr. Portocarrero."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Two hours later, Chancellor Portocarrero briefed Minister of Foreign Affairs Reynaldo Salazar. Salazar then forwarded the following telegram to God-Emperor Count JWolf:

"My dear Count,

On behalf of his Majesty, Emperor Anastasio VI, I do hereby wish to negotiate our acquisition of the rest of Switzerland the western half of Austria, to, shall we say, 'fill in a gap,' in our empire. Be advised that we do not seek bloodshed nor hostility, and will be willing to discuss them amiably. Please propose a price for the land we seek, and our Ministry of Finance shall allocate the designated price to your government's account. Thank you, and have a blessed day."

After getting Minister Reynaldo Salazar message, the Count set up a meeting with his cabinet. Each one of them was sitting around the long black table in the meeting room in Castle Von Wolf. The message was printed out and each one of them has read it. It did say ‘For your eyes only’ but the Count’s cabinet needs to read it. The cabinet has his five sons in it and six of his best friends, too.

The Count stood at the head of the table. His five sons were on both side of the table near their father. Lord Paris and Lady Frost were behind them. El concision de Sacerdotal, or the council of Priests, sat near the end of the table. The room was quiet.

Then Crown Prince Sheldon, the Grand Marshall of the Transylvanian Army, stood up and said “Father, I don’t like this deal. We helped them take over Switzerland. Then in 1936, they give us the western half of it.”

The Count looked over at his son and said, “I know, Sheldon. In 1976, we went to war with Austria. We lose men during because I saw them fall to the Austrian bullets.” He took a small pause and looked at the whole map of the Dominion. The Dominion controlled Eastern Europe and Western Russia. The Black Sea, the Sea of Marmora and the Sea of Above are like lakes now. “I don’t know what to do. El Caudillo are an ally and they do something like this to me.”

Then Lord Paris said “Count, we will do not give in to their demands.” The Count looked down at his Secretary of Diplomacy, “Yes, they are demanding those Swiss/Austrian territories. Even if they want to pay us for it, that is still demanding it.”

“If we let them have the Swiss/Austrian territories, what will stop them from asking for other territories.” said Father Cain Marko“Good question, Father Cain.” said the Count.

Looking over at his three sons: Khaldun, Calvin, and Devlin. “Khaldun, what army units are in both Swiss/Austrian territories?” The Grand Marshall looked through his papers and said “The 9th Black Rhinos, the 17th Black Angels and the 23rd Green Horns are based in our Swiss territory. The 6th Soul Tigers, the 29th Aoiro Wolves, and the 37th Roach Busters are based in our Austria territory.”

“Okay, will have them on ready for anything. Devlin, have all airbases in both territory ready, too.” said the Count

“Yes, Father.” said both men.

“Plus before y‘all leave. Have the army units in Slovenia ready, too.” said the Count. That is the 12th Blood Dragons, the 19th Hound Soldiers and the 27th Hellspawns.

“Yes, Father.” said Khaldun.

After everybody has left, the Count sits down and writes a message back to Minister Reynaldo Salazar.

If we did not help your men in Switzerland, the Swiss would have won that war. You know that and I know that. As a gift for our help, your government gave us the eastern half of Switzerland. Liechtenstein stayed in your nation’s empire but we did not care. Now, how about we talk about the western half of Austria to be sold to your nation. Your asking me to sale you that part to you. I fought side by side with my men to take all of Austria in 1976. And you ask me to sale it to your nation. Nothing you can pay with pay for the deaths of my men, Mr. Salazar. Mr. Salazar, do what is best for your people. Don’t go to war is what is best for your people. I have defended you and would take up arms to help you in the past. But what you and your Emperor are trying to pull, I would not take up arms to save you. The Dominion has had the eastern half of Switzerland in it control for over 69 years. We have built it better then when we first got it. Austria has been in the Dominion for over 29 years and the Dominion has done the same thing as we did with the eastern half of Switzerland. I should have not let the Council of Twelve take your nation as an ally. So, do the right thing and stand down before our alliance is disbanded.

Dominion satellites are watching the Switzerland border of both empires. The same thing goes for the Austria-Germany border. The Slovenia-Italy border was being watched, too. Satellite techs would watch for any movement. If any of El Caudillo troops touched a foot on the Dominion soil, the Count would unleash Hell on Earth.

The Dominion and your nation has been allies for over 70 years and you want to just throw it away like that.

One more thing, you are on the edge and about to fell to your death. I know how your Emperor is like. He becomes quite violent; if he doesn’t get want he wants. If you want the Swiss/Austrian territories, you are going to have to take another way. If you do that, your nation will be under the Dominion control. You have been warned.

Two day later, the Count was waiting in his meeting room in Castle Von Wolf (http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/9635/castlevonwolf8ya.jpg). The same room he uses to meet with his cabinet. The huge maps of the Europe and Russia lined the right wall. The Dominion was a huge and powerful empire. Lord Bennet du Paris waited with him. Both men wearing three-piece suits. Lord Paris hair tied back in a ponytail.

“I want to know what this little favor is?” asked Lord Paris.

“Maybe it is the same thing when we helped them with Switzerland.” said the Count, who was looking at the maps. Both men talked as they waited for their guest or guests.

At the Sibiu International Airport, two huge men waited beside a long black Hummers limo. These men were leaders of the Viking unit in the Black Wolves. Both men were 6’9” tall and wearing a military like uniform in dark gray and black. The baldhead man with a Viking tattoo on his head was Snæbjörn the Fearsome, the main leader of the unit. His second in command, the man with the long blonde ponytail, stood to his right. His name was Möttull Warhorse. They were to take the men from El Caudillo to Castle Von Wolf.
