We bring you sad news. The Highest Ruler Jualin IV has just died.
Before his death, he made one last descision--we can now tell you that Ruler Damlark is now the Highest Ruler.

Everybody shall now bow their heads and recite the ancient Call of United Freedom while Ruler Damlark is gifted with the purple Elder wolfskin robes of Honour and Death.


Official Message from Highest Ruler Damlark to all nations

Greetings to you all.
As I have now become the Highest Ruler, I invite your highest rulers (or whatever would be similar to that title) to join me for my first official message to the Empire. Being small, generally remote and late to grow from village tribes to a real nation, I believe we haven't very good relations with other nations, and this is the perfect oppurtunity to improve them.

However, I warn you now--I will not permit unfree, ununited nations' highest rulers into my nation. Any attempting to 'gatecrash' this important occasion will be captured and executed immediately. I don't believe anyone would wish to take such a risk.

Hope to see all United and Free nations' hifghest rulers there.

We sympathize with the loss of your nation's leader, and as an act to forge goodwill with more foreign nations and regions, we accept your offer.

We ourselves are a small, new, relativly weak nation, with an excellent record of acceptance of civil and political rights.

Highest Ruler Damlark accepts your request and hopes to see you at such an important event.

We sympathize with the loss of you highest ruler. In time, we may join your Empire, but such a thing must be discussed with the other nations of my region. You will hear from us soon.

Exalted Empire of Honour and Death, we, the Meccorans, offer our deepest sympathies. We would like to open diplomatic contact with your nation because we feel that we are very similar. Like you, we value civil rights and freedom more than anything. Like you, we greatly mourn death and, like you, we are very new the the world of interplanetary politics. We feel that an alliance would be very beneficial for both our nations. With your permission, myself, several other diplomats and High Minister Zerdak will attend this gathering of leaders.
