The first amphibious land fleet had arrived at Bulgaria, relieving the four airborne divisions that held the country. It was a week since the land exchange between Rome was agreed upon, a census of Romania and Bulgaria was already underway. Marines from the fleet poured into the country of Bulgaria via helicopters and landing craft. Large C-5, C-141, C-130, and C-17 aircraft landed in various airports throughout the newly gained territory. Out from these aircraft came scores of soldiers, their tanks and infantry combat vehicles. An estimated one hundred and fifty thousand soldiers were due to arrive in Romania and Bulgaria in that day alone. By the end of the two months the numbers would have swelled to two million soldiers plus their equipment. The four airborne divisions already in Bulgaria held their position at the border, monitorring any sort of traffic throughthe borders.

In Romania the eight airborne divisions their had as well secured the borders. Some eighty-thousand soldiers were already beginning to land in the coastal towns. Behind the transport ships came scores of heavy cargo vessels. Inside the cargo vessels lay enormous 400mm cannons, artillery, SAM Systems, AAA Systems and blueprints for the ST-29, and SIV-25 vehicle. Engineers and scientists came off board this cargo vessels in the hundreds. Their primary job was to build and oversee facilities to build Yelmish war materials. The goal of the entire project was to make Romania and Bulgaria as self-sufficient as possible.

In Antartica the King issued a decree, that is to be effective in all colonies and provinces currently under Yelmish control.

Decree 191A18; Reinstitution of the Military Draft
As of 0900 by tomorrow all male citizens from the ages of 17 to 45 are to report to the nearest military enlistment station. All male citizens who do not report within one month will be tracked down and arrested. Further information about the organization and purpose of the draft shall be released on a later date.

Reorganization of the Army
The United Army of Yelm will now be seperated into three classes depending on the training qualifications, age, experience, and equipment of each division.

Class A
Class A Divisions are the constantly active army personnel. They're outfitted with the most experienced soldiers, officers and are given advance equipment to their disposal. Such equipment as the ST-29 Zver, and the SIV-25 IFV are standard equipment for the divisions. Class A Divisions are the frontline battle forces, they maintain the battle line, and attack when needed. At the moment all Divisions are active and are deployed in Europe, Orlando Military Base in Canada, Antarctica, and in Africa.

Secret IC
A total of nine forty four million make up the Class A Divisions. Over half of those are currently mobilizing in Antarctica and Africa. The remaining divisions are on alertness for deployment. Training for Class A Divisions consists of 22 weeks of basic training, including advance combat training lasting anywhere from 1 and a half to two years with an active combat unit.


Class B
Class B Divisions are reservist military personnel. They are outfitted with ST-11 tanks, and SIV-25 Infantry fighting vehicles, still very capable and considered above than average military equipment. These units are only called upon during times of crisis or during rebellion. Due to the enormous need of active soldiers to maintain Yelmish territories there are less reserve than active soldiers. Despite not being fully active almost every single member of the Class B Divisions has seen some sort of combat, whether against rebels or during the Tribal Wars.

Secret IC
A total of four million and sixty five thousand soldiers make up the Class B Divisions. Training for Class B Divisions lasts 16 weeks, and a further 4 months in an active combat unit. Currently all Class B Divisions have been activated and have been deployed to Africa, and Antarctica. Their current duties include the building of defensive structures and protecting the inland territories.

Class C
Class C Divisions are essential the defensive divisions. Their sole duty is to protect the homeland and the territories. Equipment such as M1A1 and M1A2 tanks and M1A4 Bradley Vehicles are issued. These soldiers are the fierce patriotic males that make up Yelm’s population. Despite having less training and experience than the normal foreign and domestic soldier, they make up for it with ferocity and determination.

Secret IC
A total of twelve million and fifteen soldiers make up the Class C Divisions. All Divisions are currently being activated, with half already performing defensive duties. Without support from Class B or Class A Divisions Class C Divisions would most likely be utterly destroyed against a moderately powerful opposing force. It is this reason why Class C Divisions should only be used defensively and should have terrain advantage at all times.

In the frozen wasteland of Antartica a massive fleet was being assembled. Dozens of carriers and battelships sat in anchor, awaiting further ships of war to join the armada. A stream of new transport and logistical support ships began streaming into the cold harbour, ships newly purchased. Cargo ships of various sizes entered the harbour as well. Unloading tons of raw material, and war goods from the African factories. In the mountains were the people live, a great noise was about, speaking of the cause to which so many military assests we mustered. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers sat inside the war cave, being briefed on their objectives and practicing their skills. Officers of grand stature were in the elegant conference rooms, discussing the possible battle to come. At this conference was Warlord Viktor Jaroslav, Prince Tomas Yelm V, Warlord Reynolds Silverbeard, Warlord Oslef Begnin, Warlord Klein Jaroslav, and of course King Gregory III.

My lord, what news have we received from the intelligence satellites?" spoke Warlord Silverbeard, eager of news to inform his veteran "Beserker Corps". The King stood up from the table and spoke in a loud booming voice to his generals, "The time has come claim what is rightfully ours. The photographs we have received from the satellites have been wired to your office already Warlord Reynolds, you may view them once this meeting has come to a close. As of now I have more important matters to discuss with you all. First, the draft has swelled up our ranks with eager soldiers, sailors, and airmen with something around seventy million personnel in total. Our submarine fleet has swelled it's ranks with new more able and more numerous attack submarines and boomers submarines. A domestic version is currently in the making for a missile and attack submarine, this should be completed within the month. The Guilden Wall in Europe is nearly half way finished, along with two million Yelmish warriors. Our fleet has been enlarged, and our airforce has been revamped. Our military is in the best condition is has ever been, and combine that with our soldier's determination. I say we have a victory in the near future. Anyone wish to discuss anything?"

Warlord Viktor Jaroslav stood up from his seat."I myself have been overlooking our military build up and have to say that everything seems to be in good order. I am merely nervous about spreading ourselves too thin. Europe, and Africa are some ways off from our homeland. How can you assure us that our soldiers will have enough supplies to last them the entire conflict?" The warlord sat down and waited patiently for the king."A good question indeed Warlord Jaroslav. I have directly ordered many more transport and replenishment ships. I am satisified that all of our soldiers will be suited for battle when the time comes." The Prince stood up now, speaking quietly, "What of casualties from the initial attacks? Have we done the calculations yet?" The king looked at his son, "Yes. Currently with all the bombing runs, and initial bombardment attacks we plan we estimate that casualties could run from anywhere from 25% to 50 or 60% in the initial attack. Of course this is if war comes. Anything else?" All the generals sat silently. "Very well, you may return to your offices." The generals quietly got up and returned to their appropiate quarters.

With the construction of the Guilden Wall in Europe completed, and the swelling of Yelmish ranks in Europe to over 5 and a half million Class A Soldiers the time for the execution of Operation Safe Return was being readied. Romania and Bulgaria had been turned into a stronghold. Thousands of tanks, combat vehicles, and aircraft stood at the ready. At Constanta, Manglia, Varna, and Burgas two hundred naval ships sat in harbour awaiting any possible conflict. Soldiers in the rear who were not manning the Guilden Wall practiced their shooting skills, as well as urban combat. If a war in Europe would ever break out, death would fill Bulgaria, and Romania.

As the 1st Salvation Fleet, nicknamed "The King's Fleet", sailed silently near the South American coastline an aburpt order was given to "Stop". Immediately the numerous ships of the fleet halted their course. Their location was just outside the territorial waters of Layartebian held Ecuador. Commanding this fleet was Warlord Klein Jaroslav, High Warlord of the Yelmish Military. He sat at his office speaking with the king through a secured encrypted telephone, "M'lord, the fleet has stopped at your request. The submarines, and patrol aircraft are currently scanning around the fleet, nothing has been found." He paused and waited for the king's response, "Very well Klein. You have done well this far. I cannot emphasis how quickly you must execute a dominant position, if time is given for the opposition to gather it's allies, or gather it's own forces, I am afraid we will face a bloody war." The Warlord sighed, "Yes I know, I am sure we are be able to deal with this situation." A quick response came, "I am sure. Execute Order 5999. Should 5999 not be met Execute Order six oh, oh oh. May the gods be with you Klein." With that the phone went dead.

What the satellites and SIGINT confirmed was true, a massive Yelmish fleet sat not far off the coast of Ecuador. The entire area of South Eastern Virginia and Ynoga were at risk now, pending the situation. Submarines operated quietly, deep, and silently. Scythe, Seawolf Flight III, and Virginia class attack submarines maintained a constant patrol along the Ynogian-SEV coastline from the north to the south. 24 nautical miles of waters had to be protected all the way down and the coast guard wasn't the only branch doing it. Fighters and bombers sat at the ready on tarmacs and runways whilst ground-based missile systems sat quiet, waiting for their targets.

Emergency Communique to Yelmish Government

The presence of your fleet off our coast has raised serious concerns. Such volumes, regardless of their position in international or national waters constitutes a clear and present danger. We must know your intentions immediately or we will be forced to act within the defense of our borders and our citizens.

North of Bulgaria, Wazzu seemed preoccupied with it's own concerns (like "re-taking" land leased to the now defunct nation of nation of Bedou). People moving militaries in Europe was nothing new...and the people in Sweden had more pressing matters.

Encrypted Emergency Message to the Emperor of Layarteb

Our satellites have detected a massive Yelmian fleet off your waters and would like to offer our support to Layarteb, both diplomatically as well as military support. If you agree, we can have several air force units, at least two airborne divisions, and support elements in Ynoga within 24 hours, as well as a naval task force, one armored division and two mechanized infantry divisions in place within an additional 48 hours.

I intend to order the Cottish navy and air force to engage the Yelmians if they attack, as per the NAANP agreement. I await your hastily response my friend.
