Workers Disconent

a recent study of the Grand Dukes popularity within Luxembourg has revealed that the largest portion of the Industrial working class do not respect Grand Duke Adolf, the Duke himself has not yet made public his feelings on this matter but he has let known that he does not fear an uprising.

Disaster in Industrial Region

Disaster struck in a steel factory today as a large container of molten slag broke spewing the white hot liquid onto the factory floor, it has been proclaimed the worst disaster in Luxembourg's Independant history, the death toll has so far reached 500 and that number is expected to rise, though no official statement has been released sabotage has not been disproved as of yet.

Workers Worried

workers in nearby factories fear that the recent disaster could be the work of goverment officials wanting to silence malcontent workers, though the Duke insists that it was nothing more than an industrial accident.

Adolf Dies

Grand Duke Adolf has passed away aged 83, the cause is unknown but poison has been disproved, the Dukes son William IV (48) has been proclaimed the next Duke of Luxembourg, this has caused a further distance between the Dukes and the People, it is hoped that William will be able to assist the Working class

Workers Riot
Workers have began to riot outside the City square in response to the Grand Duke's proposed plans to "unite" Belgium and Luxembourg, the people fear that the proposed plans to Annexe Luxembourg into Belgium (dropped over 30 years ago) may once more make an apperance, the absence of the Duke has caused further problems as the Police try valiantly to fight back the surging crowd of working class members

Riots Quelled
the Riots ended today in a bloody conflict, the exact cause for the unessacary(sp?) violence has not yet been released, the Belgian forces were thanked by Duke William IV.

LWU Underground
a letter came through to Luxembourg news HQ from an annomynous source who told us that the Luxembourg Workers United had not finished and that the battle for Luxembourg had just began

More Riots
Thats right just a day after the new years eve riots the LWU strike once more, rioters have met Police just outside the Duke's Palace, Belgiums involvement has not yet been confirmed but seems likely.
