"I take the one less travelled"(Intro RP)

Eternus Lumen

Televisions from around the small nation were now centered on King Adrian, King of Eternus Lumen. Adrian had only recently become the King his father had been the King before and had led a reign of isolation. He had demanded that Eternus Lumen stay within its own doors and ignore the world, but Adrian couldn't especially in such times of darkness.

He had seen the world for what it was, and why the former King had wanted them to keep away his exact words were, "We open the door to darkness; all we are doing is inviting it in." The world was in chaos with mass slaughters, extreme breaches of human and civil rights and of course the war mongering nations if only to name a few.

Adrian now looked to his advisor his brother, Prince Mark. He had always been there for Adrian and was very happy when Adrian was named King and he had been chosen as Adrian's advisor. Mark was talking to the press, advising the tv crew teams and organizing the after party all at the same time. Adrian admired him for such nerves and patience.

"Lord Adrian, we are on in a minute" The camera man announced. Adrian turned gave a polite smile and moved to his chair. He took his time sitting, and organizing the papers before him before giving the O.K, "In 5-4-3...."

The lights came on and flashed in the kings eyes as he smiled brightly, the camera man gave the 'we're on sign' and he began,

"Nations of the world, there is a time in every nations 'life' where it faces a fork in the road. That fork in the road is that of government style, though unlike smaller decisions this one has dozens of possibilities. Well if I can quote a famous poem, 'I take the one less traveled'.

For many generations the nations of the world had ruled with peace and prosperity, only to now due to regime changes, civil wars, and other things become bringers of chaos and discord. We will not allow that to happen, although small we hope to work with the international community and help establish that once beautiful world we all use to exist in.

When a infant wants something but cannot get it he cries, cries that is until the ability of walking is achieved. For many years we cried, shutting ourselves out from the world. Well now we are taking those first steps and learning how to walk.

My father the former King had once said that to 'To open the door to darkness is to invite it in'. I believe that is wrong beyond reasoning, to open the door to darkness takes courage and you must have a pure heart to resist its corruption. I believe we have a pure enough heart, with pure enough intentions to resist the corruption and venture forth and help those in need.

My friends God Bless, and may we help bring about the changes that will lead to that once famed earth in which we all lived peacefully."
