In a giant effort to further improve the economy, UziCorp has closed down almost every UziCorp-run factory in Hamanistan, which caused hundreds of lay-offs. They demanded that the Green Sun government step in, but Green Sun does not interefere with the actions of companies so long as they aren't doing anything illegal. Many Hamanistan immagrants and descendants are protesting against UziCorp, but most of Green Sun society are happy about the move towards progress.
"We can't all pas college. Even if we all did, there simply aren't enough jobs to go around for things that require a degree," says the president of one of the many UziCorp unions, "And our union makes sure the working-class employees get paid as much as those scientists. Most factory workers in Green Sun do have a degree, which makes their products so cheap and so superior. Hamanistan is a big enough nation to employ their own people anyways!"
