Airsoft Tournament

As you all know, airsoft was created some time after Japan was defeated in WWII. To keep fostering the arts of war, and at the same time uphold the prohibition of a standing army, these weapons were created. Overtime, airsoft became a sport of sorts. Natsumi Corp., one of our leading airsoft equipment companies, has recently began planning a NS-wide tournament to advertise its goods.

Anyone, regardless of background or occupation, can enter. The only requisites are: not having commited any serious offence in their homeland; and the local licence for engaging in airsoft activities.

Teams must be of 3 members, no more, no less. To be considered valid, each team must supply its own equipment, or buy it with a discount of 20% at our store. Equipment means the necessary safety goggles and at least one weapon of any kind. Entrance fee is 500$.

The first rounds of the tournament will be guerrilla-style warfare, where several teams are pitted against each other in a jungle environment. No equipment except safety devices and weapons will be allowed; each team must either outsmart or outgun the others.

Once there are only 8 teams remaining (or if there are only 8 applying...), each team will fight the other in an urban environment. Unlike the previous matches, however, any equipment, as long as it's not deadly, will be allowed. The winners will move on to the semi-finals.

At the semi-finals, stealth will be of essence to the 4 surviving teams, as they will be tasked with penetrating the defences of a military camp. Of course, it's a camp built for that effect... The camp will be defended by D4 Rising Sun's army, that will be equiped with airsoft arms as well. If no team survives this task, the regular ellimination procedure will be used. However, IF ONLY ONE TEAM SURVIVES, THAT TEAM WILL AUTOMATICALLY WIN THE TOURNAMENT.

The last round will be a Capture The Flag contest. Each team must navigate an obstacle course, and either kill off the other team or bring its flag back to its own base. The first to win three rounds, wins the tournament.

The prizes, apart from the fun of it, will be 100.000$ for each member of the winning team, as well as any equipment from Natsumi Corp. of the team's choice. The second team will receive 20.000$ and a piece of equipment. The third team will receive only 5.000$
