Asking for an alliance(Attn. GE) (FT)

Taledonia

Due to a recent security threat that may or may not have connections to members of the Galactic Empire, I, the Imperator of the Republic, would like to call upon the leaders of the Galactic Empire to meet on my home planet of Taledonia for a meeting to discuss the possibility of an alliance.

If the respected leaders of the GE choose to accept this offer, please, when you arrive at Taledonian controlled territory check in with one of the border stations or you will be pulled out of warp and will need to be searched as part of security measures.

Yours in friendship,

Emperor Kellerman
Imperator of the Republic

As a member and representative of the Galactic Empire; the Chronosian Imperium would like to query as to the nature of this... threat before we deploy essential diplomatic staff.

It has been uncovered that an attempt to start a civil war within the Republic is being conducted by somebody. Tho we do not know who this person is, we know that he has made it clear that if there is a civil war, the GE would aid the seperatists destroy the Republic. Therefore in the best interest of the Republic, I would like to discuss a possible alliance between our two great alliances to stop any possible conflicts between us.

a nation was created for the purpose of asking every member ally and people associated with the Republic of who's side they weould be on if the Republic split into civil war. This poll taker said that the sepratists would hvae the backing of the GE, mainly Neo Zeta.

Message from Praetor Weyoun

We have never tried to start a Civil war. However we will aid those who ask it of us and we find their goals worthy of our aid.

"Kellerman, surely you can not be intending to go through with an alliance? We need a TEMPORARY non-aggression treaty only. I will not support anything more and neither will the any part of Kazecistan. 1/3 of our senate is against this."

A temporary non-aggression act is what I had in mind, but if something better comes then we should take it.
Stellar Nations
27-06-2005, 01:23
Taledonia. Don't do this.

This is what the polling dude wanted. There are many nations in the Republic that DON'T want an aliance with the GE, and there are those that do. This could split us.
Kazecistan
27-06-2005, 01:27
Ic: Kazecistan feels VERY strongly about this, Kellerman.

The Imperium is not in any...true position to make deals. That honor lies with our leader, however we would be interested in offering this...Republic the chance to be made protectorates of the Empire. If a civil war is imminent, surely it is better if you are all made safe, that others would be drawn into the whirlpool of your own self destruction. An alliance with us would 'split you'. I wonder why that is.
Neo Zeta
27-06-2005, 01:37
I would suggest you take Chronosia's offer. Our postion is to aid Deatharon to insure their well being what ever side they may be.
Taledonia
27-06-2005, 01:45
We will not become your protectorate.

And for fellow Republican nations, I am suggesting a temporary non-aggression act so that we can have the assurence that the GE will not attack us while we try to sort this whole situation out.
Kazecistan
27-06-2005, 01:47
"And just what ties might you have with Deatharon?!?!" Turning to the Republic members present, "Kazecistan will fight this! We will fight it to the grave! We are not alone! Stop you fools and turn back while you can! We must unite with each other, not split to join long term enemies!"
Chronosia
27-06-2005, 01:48
What makes you think you are worth our time? The Imperium itself has far more pressing business than to babysit a group of squabbling nations, who cannot even decide how to protect themselves. You are a pretentious alliance that dreams of greatness, but dreams are all they shall remain. I shall refer this issue to the Emperor of the Unified Sith, but I doubt he shall show much interest. We offered you a chance to have peace and stability; however, pending signing of anti-Gaian treaties by members of the GE, some will stand ready to aid neo Zeta.
Stellar Nations
27-06-2005, 01:50
I agree with Kazecistan.

I will not have my nation contoled, influnnced, or whatever by another nation or nations.

If we do anything with the GE, I will seceed from the Republic, and I am pretty sure some others would. If you look at the Republic forums, we would loose the alliance we have also.
Neo Zeta
27-06-2005, 01:51
"We have close ties to Deatharon. We are currently trying to work out a allience with them. Also we have allowed them to expand. We rid them of Gaians who kept them from expanding. Neo Zeta is commited to aiding Deatharon in their future expansion and protection"
Kazecistan
27-06-2005, 01:51
"We don't need the GE, we need eachother. If we stand together, then we will acheive those 'dreams', if we join them, we will be forever traped..."
Chronosia
27-06-2005, 01:54
Many who join us prosper. Many and great are the scraps cast from the tables of its leaders, to benefit the weaker. The Imperium has grown exponentially since it attained membership. However, other institutions, such as your Republic, would not stand against its fully deployed and combined might. Just as other great nations; Wick, Weyr, the Coreworlds, have fallen, so would you. That is, if you should approach our alliance in the wrong way.
Stellar Nations
27-06-2005, 01:54
oh, and Neo Zeta, Deatharon can't enter an alliance wihout the entirety of the Republic. so if he does enter an alliance with you without the rest of the Reublic, then he will be expelled from the Republic
Taledonia
27-06-2005, 01:54
Yes, it has been decided by our citizens. We do not need an alliance, sorry to have wasted your time.
Neo Zeta
27-06-2005, 01:56
" what lies, Deatharon dreams to expand its power and controle. Yet the Republic never aided them in this. Infact i assume you look down on their expansion. Neo Zeta a member of the GE however knows it will only bring order to the Galaxy and openly support them and offer aid. And maybe Deatharon would be better of our of the Republic. I offer him membership in the Grand Dominion Axis and i am sure he would be welcome in the GE where his dreams will be aided. Ours was to beat the Gaians and the GE aided us in our dream."
Stellar Nations
27-06-2005, 01:58
We don't give a damn. WE havn't looked down upon the expansion of any of our nations, we have encouraged it.

so just buzz off

27-06-2005, 01:59
Ah, but it is a shame. You have wasted nothing, you have merely granted us an insight into your current, weakened state. This mysterious poll-taker; this outside plot, as you call it. The fact that mostly non-senators are against it. And of course the tragic death of your wife, clouding everything.
All terrible incidents. All of which, however, give us a more complete view of the state of your alliance.

"I have long believed that if people work together, anything is possible. The problem here is that people allow simple things to tear them apart and they become weak. If we stand together we can become more powerful than any other! Don't allow this petty attempt to weaken us. Don't allow these people to threaten us. Don't sit down and shut up when you can stand and yell!"
Chronosia
27-06-2005, 02:28
Ah, but the man standing and yelling is the first one to be gunned down. The screaming woman, the first to be silenced. Do not think us bound by your morality. We are agents of the Imperium. Similarly agents of the Empire. We stand as legion; our armies endless, our might terrible.

Tell me, are you not already weakened? Could you stand by your convictions, even as you face those whose own faith exceeds yours?

Weather we die a slow quiet death or a loud quick one is the choice.

I would rather die haven spoaken my manner than live having spoaken yours! (("the appoligy"))

Those who were killed in the Holocost went in the thousends past few gunmen, following the lines into the furnaces! If they had rebelled, they could have lived, but they did not resist, they let themselves be killed!

Stand up for what is right, or what is good shall be lost forever!

We would stand as a whole. we would put away our differences and conflicts, if even for the time being.

You see, we like our little conflicts. It strengthes us. And we don't want others to interfere with our conflicts, because they are just that, ours.

So go to hell, and keep your nose, and the rest of you, out of our buisness

Your notions of good and evil are outdated. In a world of order and chaos; there can be no such distinctions. There are only the choices we make. Your choices may seal the fate of your alliance; while my choices, will bring me glory in battle.

The Four Gods guide our path; they tell us of blood in the name of Khorne; Perversion by Slaanesh's will. The indulgence of change, growth and magick in Tzeentch, and the extent of fall and decay, through Nurgle.

You know nothing of faith or conviction. You know nothing of worlds burned clean in sacrifice; or of more secret offerings. By assassins blade or bullet, for instance.

We are the servants of the Ruinous Powers; we serve a master who defies death, and embraces all the power gifted to him. To stand before the Daemon Emperor; is to look upon the face of damnation. And we are all willingly damned.

Although I am not yet a true citizen of the Republic, I feel what it stands for. We are invincible united by our shared friendship, and do not fall prey to the intimidation of others to join their Empire, or fall beneath the crushing hooves of such a terrible instrument.

We have lived, and know much of truth, and self-sacrifice. We know what is right, and what is wrong, the truths that are unalterable and immutable. You may deny these truths as you please with your sacrifices and empty power, but true power lies entirely within the truth, and the light of the galaxy.

We would warn the Republic against persuing any ties with the Galactic Empire, as such actions would inevitably lead to 'absorption'.

They may not do it today, they may not do it tomorrow, but they WILL do it.

Just remember that there are others out there. Those who believe in a concept of Free Space, under the leadership of all, not one.

Those who even now work towards such ends.

Down with the Empire! Down with the sheep who follow it and blindly follow the edicts of its one ruler! Down with the hegemony!

The best one can do to combat the oncoming scourge of the Imperial Dogs is to find friends wherever one can. Build connections, alliances, whatever it takes. Just remember that when they come to your doorstep, you must NOT face them alone.

We of the Triad Alliance shall extend a hand, a hand that will not place a gun to your head in return for 'security', an honest hand. Take it if you wish, and know that you are not alone.

~Baron Skye, Triad Primarch, Triad Consortium of Godular

OOC: And no, the Godulan 'Triad' has nothing to do, meaningwise, with the 'Triad' Alliance, in the event the question arises.

The son of Sojun is busy with other things. But you are foolish to believe that he had anything to do with this. Indeed the Archons have fallen, but forever shall we remain.

If anything, the upheaval has strengthened our resolve.

Besides, it is not us you should be worrying about, Imperial Dog.

OOC: As once a "member" of your Republic, and now a follower of Chaos and disciple of Chronosia, I must say that, if anything, you guys had this coming. Seperation has been inevitable since you first split the Senators off from the rest of the Republic. When you three Senators hid your forum behind a password and "assured" us that you were running the Republic how we wanted it to be run. We submitted to laws and edicts from an invisible dictator. Yes, three people CAN be a dictator when you run the show for the place you SAY is free. Why do you think that great nations, like H-L, quit your pathetic impersonation of a Republic? You were fools like all the rest to think that freedom can work, because it can't. NS players are far too greedy to submit to a weak "Senate" when they feasibly could defeat said "Senate" and become the ruler. I could have, but I rather left you alone. Look what came of it.
Kazecistan
28-06-2005, 00:46
It was only hidden because you people would not stop posting in it. It was the only way to keep the Senate an elected senate, rather than a powerless organization. How do you think the Roman republic did it? And America today is run by those in power, the people's main say in things is the elections, which we hold monthly.
