What I'd like to do is defend my homeplanet through use of orbital guns and some sort of defense network rather than massive fleets of mile long spaceships. Rather what I'm looking for is some sort of global defense network, orbital cannons and designs for anything that would provide adequate defense against a fleet with as little use of spaceships as possible.

(OOC: You sure you wouldn't rather develop something this yourself? To me, the end product is always much more satisfying when you know it's something you "developed".)

OOC: I do plan to design the majority of my defenses, but I would like to see whats out there and see a few good examples of FT designs.

We have just completed the design of a new battlestation, called the Golan Planetary Defense Platform. Specs are below. No price has been set at this time. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
