Huntaer prepares for war against all Jedi (FT sign up)
I've been wanting to fight against Jedi for a long time now. I think my nation has developed enough ships, vehicles, and troops to fight against multiple armies. Anyways, feel free to say which side you wish to support in the war. For starters, it will be my dark side nation against my light side nation. Depending on how things go, this battle will determine wether or not the Galactic Republic of Huntaer will be restored, and the Galactic Empire of Huntaer collapses. Should the Malkir/Jedi win, this will mark an new era of peace for Huntaer. Should they loose, and the rest of the Malkir will be exterminated.

I'll be out of town too much to be joining another RP.
If you're still going in August, I may 'stumble apon' a battle with a few small units, and call for major (Eclipse class ;)) backup. Wonder how a Nebulon B would fair in a full scale space battle.....

Against the new ISD's I released? Seconds, the ISD captain will be saying "What Nebulon B?"
Anyways, I was hoping this would end by august. You could show up in the last major offencive or something like that.
The Eshirian Sovereignty will fight on the side of the nobel Jedi as well. The reason? This gives us a chance to further cement bonds between Tanthan and Kyanges, as well as gives us a chance to finally test out our equipment against your forces. Everybody wins. (Meaning us, lol. ;) )

Aye... tis quite handy for pwning n00bs on Half-Life2.. not really for NS though. Kayanges... (also the little thing where I'm still using my actual NS population compared with your 4 trillion might be an issue... I still need to get an RP population)

Hmm... I'd say to use your NS population for your heavily populated worlds. Also note: Clones and droids don't count into your population.
EDIT:
BTW, who's side were you on? Just so that I could update the list.

IDK, I'd probably just be a small fleet that stumbles into this. Kyanges and you are both my Allies, and I think you'd be on opposing sides. This'd cause a lot of confusion in the fleet, but they'd probably side with the light if the story gets out. I currently don't have any adepts in my nation, but something like this could be an interesting point to 'discover' them.

(OOC: I don't really have much of a fleet when it comes to those Preamus class carriers simply because out of the interests of making things reasonably realisitc, those things take a very long time to construct. Besides, since I'm coming out with massively upgraded versions sometime soon, Ill be deliberately limiting the number of them that I have. About 100-200 ships will be produced before they're due for another upgrade. Besides, you've got a few of them yourself after you bought some.
About my 4 trillion population, I know that compared to a few space empires out there, that's pathetic. For now, only about 500 billion of my "Population" is actually serving anyway, I'd say that you've got nothing to worry about.
Note: I'd also let you take quite a few of my battlecarriers along with you anyway. The less a fair match it is, the more of a handicap I put on my forces. That's how I work things.)
EDIT: Just remembered, I have 2.99 trillion "population", not 4 trillion, so now there's even less to worry about.
THREE TRILLION?! And nobody's called you on that yet?! Are you basing your population estimates on TFU's numbers? I have yet to see any reputable nations posting a hyper-inflated figure as their 'RP population', And any reputable RPer would not allow that in their RPs.
I mean geez! Our your ships' hulls made out of people?

Point taken, and thank you. Population to be severely reduced!
Lol, no, my hulls are not made out of people. Just for to help make things reasonable, what is your population?
EDIT: I'd actually consider not being called on that something of a good and bad sign. First, that either means no one cares about my nation enought to even be bothered by that, or, they see that I'm fair enough to let massive amounts of that population be killed off very easily.
That, or...no one cares...

The Family Vespeterium would be happy to commit their forces to exterminate the Jedi order. The Jedi have been all uppity about our business enterprise and attitudes toward slavery and extermination of primative species so as to sell their planets to other nations. Plus, the Jedi killed three members of the family (two brothers, Serveille Fredirik Carmell Sempson Gerres Vespeterium and Blondo Serk Alsak Merdill Vespeterium, and a sister, Sheivo Fermis Sello Murtarian Vespeterium) during the Business Enterprises battle with the Republicans in our nation, putting back our final victory for a couple of months. However, we will not commit any troops from the nation we own (Vespeterium Minor) as they are not quite as loyal to the family as we hope. With your kind allowance, we can commit 200,000 trained troops and 1 million slave troops to the fight, as well as almost limitless amounts of money (our latest transaction made us 22 trillion dollars, on top of our personal fortune of 47 billion.) I await your reply.

Tanthan basic military stats
All of Tanthan is not more then 1.4 billion people currently.
All of Tanthan has 100 million droids.
.1% of all Droids, are Elite Types
Several of these are: Count Aet'Ra, Count Ma'rith, General Al'thia
.9% of all are Rank 1 type Droids
Specialists of Combat and Engineering
9% of all are Guardians, masters of physical combat.
10% of all droids are pilots/crew
30% of all droids are ground troops
50% are all logistical/maintaince non-combat droids.
The droid army specializes in hand to hand and space combat, but are very easily destroyed by leaving their region or having sheer numbers against them. Elven pilots and leaders are the sole leading force of the droid army however.
Elven forces protect Tanthan and are EXTREMELY powerful by comparison to their droid counterparts. Fearless and prideful, they prey on all enemies that happen to wander through. Aided with Tarus they will do anything to protect their homeland.
Elven on Droid ships are 1 ship - 1 captain, with 2-3 girl officers.
On Battleships 10 male officers, 20 female officers under 3 High-ranking Officers.
On Capital ships, 1000 male officers, 2000 female officers, 12 Leaders, and a General.
Elven Empire Forces are seen only near Tanthan and are all Elven ships.
The Taru Specialist Forces, this short race is seen only nearest to Tanthan and are known for sacrificing themselves to rip apart an incoming capital ship trying to impact the surface of Tanthan's capital.
Elven forces have magical power. Taru forces have great magical power typically. Similar to Jedi using the force. Though the blur of the Light and Dark side has yielded no forbidden magic. Though some like Force Lightning are very close to the same basis which Tanthan uses.
Hmmm...well, the People's Acolytes aided the Jedi with Komsomols and 50 men, so in effect, we have to join them.
Count us as Jedi.
Good, the more people in this, the better.

Lol, no, my hulls are not made out of people. Just for to help make things reasonable, what is your population?
Its cool. Its just that I guess I'm something of a stat nazi, and people flinging about inflated numbers is a bit of a pet peeve. The only person I've seen use numbers like that before is TFU, and as far as I can tell, all his RPs end with him claiming victory and the other side ignoring him out of disgust.
As for my numbers, I use my NS population, which is closing in on 1.7 billion I think. Of course, the Godulans are also capable of making robots of Armitage-Level complexity, have a military-industrial complex that puts durn near everybody in II to shame (backed up by NS stats... I can build ships that would make an Eclipse class star destroyer run away screaming in terror, but I choose not to, in favor of swarms of smaller ships that are proportionally far more powerful), so on and so forth.
I still try to limit myself though. Its just that I am so irked when somebody up and doubles, triples, or multiplies their 'RP population' by several higher orders of magnitude and attributes it to 'cloning' or 'droids' or both. They make that much of anything, and they won't have enough resources left to make a canoe.

My NS population is a little over 1.4 billion, so I guess if you can make such impressive stuff with that, I guess I can too. The main reason I had such a high number was mainly because I kinda got freaked when I saw so many other FT nations have so many powerful weapons, I figured at the time, that my only bet was to have strength in numbers, and try to RP as best I could. Most of the weapons I saw were able to wipe out planets with a single blow, and since my ships weren’t that powerful, they would have no trouble bringing those kind of weapons right into the heart of my territory.
However, since now I’m also able to make ships, and even fighters that would make Eclipses squeal, I guess you could say that I feel safer lowering my figures.
I would like to add that I wouldn’t do something like TFU, and make my population an excuse for an automatic win, rather it’d be quite the opposite. With so many people, it would be a handicap as I would struggle for resources for my fleet, as well as resources to keep my population alive. I also didn’t attribute my population to clones or the like. I actually based it on my history, which says that my race has been in space in one form or another for about 3 million years, so…yeah, go figure on the population.
"However, since now I’m also able to make ships, and even fighters that would make Eclipses squeal, I guess you could say that I feel safer lowering my figures."
Ya...I have a version of that in my arsenal to. Its the Type-B Fighter. Practically undetectable to those HUGE ships. Let alone hard to fire on. Its the same as a swarm of nanobots with short range kill lasers destroying an a tank!
Bigger isn't always better. A common misconception of future-tech forces with near limit-less resources and massive populations to easily make a massive Star Destroyer seem like a escort compared to a Flagship for most.
Say...
You have 100 Star destroyers coming for my 1 Capital ship and main fleet of 50 Fighter Carriers, 20 Armor Destroyers. Hundred of thousands, single-piloted, long-range Type-B fighters swarm in. The sheer number and speed destroy and out-number far larger fighters and crusiers, the deadly lasers shuting down power, as the Type-B's leave the enemy powerless the nasty Type-A's swarm in. They rip apart the defenseless logistical support ships, medical crews, and Star Destroyers themselves long before they come into firing range.

The Family Vespeterium cannot offer very many good offensive ships, but with have a very satisfactory defensive fleet, and thousands of transport ships (due to the fact that we are a Corporate Enterprise). The main things that we can offer to the anti-Jedi alliance are massive funding (the families personal fortune may soon stand at $222 trillion, making us the holders of the greatest personal fortune in our galaxy) and thousands of arms and weaponary that the Family aqquires through contracts or.... other means. The nation that we have ownership of (Vespeterium Minor) will not be mobilized for war, but the family will be willing to provide a large portion of our personal army of professionals, and an even larger army of our slaves. We hope we can be of help in exterminating the Jedi, as they are a great nusiance to businessmen like my brother and the rest of the Family Vespeterium.
Veeina Michga Corononium Vespeterium II, Head of the War Council of the Family Vespeterium Enterprise, and Prime Minister of Vespeterium Minor.
OOC:Well it appears that poor Vespeterium Minor is gonna be the first target of my mighty Elven!

As if Vespeterium Minor was alone commiting themselves to the hostile attacks, but Vespeterium Minor goes one step farther and wishes to profit off this war! For this reason Tanthan declares war on Vespeterium Minor! ~ Empress Ge'lio IX”
Vespeterium Minor
27-06-2005, 11:33
The Family will gladly accept your declaration of war. Is it on our Corporate Enterprise or on the Nation itself? We tend to deal differently with the two. To stop confusion, the Enterprise will be refered to as the Family Vespeterium (who have been providing weapons) and the Nation as Vespeterium Minor (who have provided no weapons). The Family Enterprise is actually richer than the Nation but cannot bring as many troops to bear. We await your reply.
Paulo Von Gerrit, Chairman of the Family Vespeterium.
"To bring the two seperate parts of Vespeterium Minor out of the darkness. The war is only to the Family Vespeterium. As this type of ruler is common of the lowly Exeon families which have long-sense plagued Tanthan with the repeated conflicts! It is as if Exeon Tigeth was murdered for the new Vespeterium Family!" ~ Empress Ge'lio IX
Ooc: Timeline wise this conflict takes place between the rise of Exeon Varionous, who was responsible for the murder of the Exeon Tigeth. The 9th Family of Exeons, Varionous is not to be confused as having already came into power. This takes place before the 6th book of Tanthan.
Snippet from the Exeon Varionous biography: 9th family of Exeons, soul survivor, Eiathia, the Varionous family was extremely powerful and cruel. All of them extremely intelligent and violent. Tendancy for madness and blood lust. Tripled Hiion life expectancy and economy, cutting edge technology, enforced with grants. Name means "Various Poisons".
For story purposes this Exeon family has NOT come to power! So neither has the Count Ethiaer story that effectively ends the Empresses' control over Tanthan. If this were to happen Tanthan would be out of the calm and be already war ravaged before the tenth empress would come into power.
Vespeterium Minor
27-06-2005, 12:00
Then the Family Vespeterium happily accepts your declaration of War.
A Board meeting, the nine members of the very large Vespeterium Family gather in the Golden Palace, which the family had stolen from the Republic that they overthrew six months ago. It is agreed that all members of the family be sent to different systems under the influence of the Family Vespeterium so as that, if an assanitation attempt is made, there will still be eight others left to run the Business.
'We will now cease any trade agreements with the Jedi's cronies, not a single one of the nations will be able to benefit from exchange with the Family Vespeterium. The Family will enjoy seeing the Jedi and their allies crushed into the dust of history.'
Paulo Von Gerrit Vespeterium III, Chairman of the Family Vespeterium.
Having limited knowledge of systems and areas, Tanthan has sent undercover agents ahead to various systems in the Vespeterium, to give the planet and location of the hiding families. Though they are easily spotted by long ears and tall slender builds, and apparent beautiful blue hair, using optical devices attempt to replace typical body-guards and servants of the Vespeterium nation and family.
Constant silent reports will be beamed to, a Type-D small, 30 ft wide, 20 ft high, 20 long recon ship. This unmanned ship beams reports back through encrypted tacheyon systems.
"Faithful as a dog, but lies like one too!" Tanthan spy code.
"However, since now I’m also able to make ships, and even fighters that would make Eclipses squeal, I guess you could say that I feel safer lowering my figures."

Also, an SD's cannon has fairly long range if it can bombard a planet from the orbit of earth's moon. And, how is a fleet of 71 ships launch hundreds of thousands, single piloted ships? Unless your fleet consists of all vessiles being more than 1800 meters, that's not going to happen. Even if you could send out all of those fighters, you'd still have to answer to my tie's, and these aren't the same weak tie's the Galactic Empire puts out.
Besides, why would I want to send 100 SD's out against 1 cap ship? It doesn't make a lick-of-scense.
And, a fighter which could take out an eclipse would be godmodding.

Of course, since you know me, I'd have to send out fighters...
Obviously after a long barrage from our space artillery to take down those horrendously powerful shields first...

OOC: Well, to reply to the comments about the RPing qualities of the Sith and Jedi, I'd like to point out I am not in fact a standard Jedi faction, for those who had not heard it already (Kyanges and Huntaer know about this stuff).
Basically, I'm a force of Commie Neutral Force users, whose style is derived from kendo and other Japanese sword arts (so expect some pretty fantastic anime-style moves).....plus, plenty of good ol' Shaolin Kung Fu when we can't use the saber.

First: What kind of rpg is this, a massive GE vs RA or character?
If it is the first option I'm joining the GE.

It's some what the first option. Yes we have massive land battles and space battles between the Dark Side and the Light Side. We also will have some character rps as well.
OOC: Hate to say this, but you didn't read. This is actually 71 ships, my capital ship, the theater commander, 50 fighter carriers which specialize in holding fighters, like an aircraft carrier, and 20 Armor Destroyers, the same as battleships basically.
Remember I already listed my smallest fighters as being, 30 ft wide, 20 ft tall, 20 ft long. These are small little blips compared to the huge carriers I use. Its not my lone capital ship. The capital ship (of which I have 5 total), holds the general. This is a THEATER ship, its larger then those Eclipse-class Star Destroyers by far, its a massive shielded super-weapon. With your Star Destroyer's shields down and the surface scared by the fighters the Armor Destroyers (the have names also cause they are huge), and the capital ship, they together can blast apart the Star Destroyers before they can even fire upon the ships.
This was an AMBUSH, their was no formal stand off or declaration for the battlefield, an entire theater of ships was brought on you for an ambush, and since it was Star Destroyers with no warning or back-up or aid in their key advantages any large object would ultimately fail against so many rapidly deployed ships. Remember this is an ambush, no warning at all. Fighters wouldn't be coming out of the ships for a few minutes at best, then into the hail of fire from the Type-B's to rip those apart as they fly out. Into a fusillade of fire. A fusillade, aimed at them and their hangars! No pilot in the universe can survive a fusillade of thousands of laser fire, missiles and suicidal fighters that are shooting directly at the fighter take-off points. A very psychological threatening thing to, cause of the sheer number of bright lights and the invisible fighters when compared to the mirriored outsides on the ships. The laser light reflects on the mirrors, scattering it as a multicolored blur like fog, to conceal the main fire from the Destroyers and the super-blasts from the Capital ship. The Capital ship can instantly destroy a whole Star Destroyer without its shields up in one blast right through the hull. The Destroyers pound at the surface, blowing chunks apart until it succumbs and explodes under the hail. Targeting systems can't lock onto the speedy fighters because of the sheer numbers that cloud the targeting computers to forget them an are unable to track properly. Even the blasts on the capital ship would be broken up by fighters and their shields deflecting the blast power even if it destroys the fighters.
Nice thing about this is that sense you can't get a clear shot in with the ships shields being on for the others, meaning it will take more then a few strong blasts to break it down. Ultimately its a clear victory for the sheer numbers and size of the fighters which excel at breaking up shields quickly.
I never said Type-A's would actually rip apart the Star Destroyer, I used the ambiguous 'they' to cloud it. Though sense we are bordering closer to war, it is best to cloud it up, as now you won't have much time to counter my fighting styles.

(OOC: Nice FF pic.
Uh, I stand by Tanthan on this one, when do you want to get this thing going? I've set up bug RPs before, and if you want this to end within your timeframe, we should get this going now.)
Starts in several minutes. Look for the word's "Operation Nightbringer," in the title within 5 minutes or so. (unless for some reason my internet connection decides to go screwy on me and it ends up being posted up tomorrow morning ~10:00 am EST)
OOC: I made a bunch of pics and have them ready to RP. If you want I could show you a few. Still the backgrounds aren't done on these cause of the program I used. So take it as a green background, a work-in-progress thing.
