Luxembourg Today, the 25th of June 2005 The Historic Garde Grand Ducale has been set-up by the Grand Duke Of Van Luxembourg, Koen van Luxemburg at 11 O'clock this morning local time. The Garde, used for protection and parade only, will have it's HQ in Luxembourg, with representatives at every location owned by the Grand Duke. The units have had Spec-Ops training and will wear the Normal issue Van Luxemburg Army weapons, except for the Rifle, which will not feature the FELIN system and has a Bayonet mounted standard. The actual Garde counts 2000 men, 1000 of them wear historical weapons, used in WWII by the Van Luxemburg Army. Vehicles are also being used from this Era. First Appearance of the Garde Grand Ducale will be This sunday, during the Grand Duke's weekly speech.

We at the Van Luxemburg Times doubt if this is an Important decision, Why?
The Grand Duke already haves it's own guard, why should extra troops be guarding him? It's our Tax money! Think of it Mr. Grand Duke!
