The case of Bloom-vs-Amika was concluded today in the High Courts. The ruling of the High Courts? The verdict stands that Amika & Co. are within their rights as a Corporation to seize the private property of Bloom Estate, and to build on those grounds an Amika & Co. Mall. The residents of Bloom Estate, numbering in at two-thousand ( 2 000 ) will be evicted from their Estate by Amika & Co. with aid from Administration. The displaced people will be expected to evacuate within forty-eight hours of conclusion to make way for Amika & Co. construction.
The case was originally brought before the High Courts by Bloom Estate, arguing that the Corporation has no right to claim what they own. Amika & Co. countered by stating, "...The new project will provide job opportunities for the District, and a shopping outlet for the middle class..." The High Courts appealed to Amika & Co. in reply by stating, "...The Corporation has the community in mind..." Some critics argue that it is unfair of a Capitalist to plea Communist in the High Courts.
Bloom-vs-Amika is already being toted by One Beacon as a measure to gain access to valuable mineral veins beneath residential areas. The High Courts have shut down after a flood of incoming messages, and decline to comment on furture Trials. There is speculation as to whether or not Corporate will move into more a more sensative area of enfranchisement.
