The 20 Battleships, 35 Cruisers, and 50 Destroyers, the entire invasion fleet, opened fire and the enemy positions. 8 Aircraft carriers had launched F-14s and F-18s to strike the enemy's capital. Over 3 Million troops clambered onto landing crafts. They would land when the bombardment stopped.
