[OOC: I'll telegram all the participants of this thread, and you can join in if you want, on whatever side. This is directly related to events regarding El Caudillo and his massacre of a thousand innocents, deemed 'scum'. Indeed, this is the invasion of Dracun Imperium after the hostile take over of the government and his unexpected turn of the tables, and changing allegiance to Future England.
If you do decide to join this thread, please keep the quality of role play that others keep. Make this thread enjoyable to read. Also, I leave for Spain on the 4th of July, consequently, although this thread may go on, especially regarding combat between Doomingsland and Dracun Imperium, I will not be posting after July 4th, unless it goes on so long that when I come back, August 18th, it's still continuing. I'll probably design some sort of storyline to justify my leave.]

[Imperial Center, Dracun Imperium]
Doctor Axel Bernarch wiped the sweat trickling down his forehead with unease, as he worked his way up the steps to the front gates of the Golden Throne's embassy in Dracun Imperium. Although he lived only a couple of blocks away it had still proven to be hard work to get ready for the day, especially with the upcoming events to come. His entire staff had spent the night preparing for immediately leave, not from the embassy, but from the country in general. He himself was forced to issue an order to the spokesman of the Dracun Imperium, who had appointed to meet Mr. Bernarch at eight in the morning. The ambassador muttered, under his breath, "I did not go to medical school for twelve years to do this."
As he approached the gate and lifted his face so that the guards could see him, the two heavily dressed soldiers saluted. One of them made a sudden about face to give a hand signal to a man beyond the gate, sitting inside a white box like building, protected by an entourage of more soldiers. The steel gates slowly opened, facing inwards, and Bernarch scuffled along, as quickly as he could.
He felt for the manila folder sitting tightly between his chest and the inside of his right arm, and he almost stumbled. Inside that manila folder was perhaps the most important government document issued in the history of the Second Empire. Indeed, it would mark a change in its history - a new dawn. It would prove to be a paved road to a blood dimmed horizon.
Walking through the double colonnade of concrete, all the capitals styled under the Corinthian order, decorated with flora and such, he made his way underneath the broad frieze with made the perimeter of the building, depicting the mythological battle that had raged once upon a time deep inside the bowls of what was now the region of Imperial Armies. It was most likely a story of one of the Empire's ancestors battling brutal barbarians, of heroes and monsters, of blood and guts. It was only a foreshadowing to the brutality to come. The doors to the embassy did not follow the motife of the ancien regime like the rest of the building. Instead, they slid open automatically, like a modern grocery store, and it was quite the contrast. In fact, it ruined the aura of the area, or at least Axel Bernarch thought so.
Moving even faster he greeted the guard at the door and moved in, walking rapidly to the elevator, where after punching in the number four, he made his way to his office. He opened the door and shuddered. The Dracunian spokesman was already there.
The other man gracefully got up from his oak chair and said,"Hello, my name is Gerett d'Ricolli. What was so important that you urgently called the government center?"
Berarch gave a nervous laugh and returned with,"I have a document for you."
He opened the manila folder and handed over a white piece of paper, with a very short message on it:
The Beginning of Hostilities Between Dracun Imperium and the Second Empire of the Golden Throne
http://www.briantimms.com/rolls%20gif/Holy%20Roman%20Empire01.gif
Due to rescent change in allegiance, and other interflicting diplomatic overtures, all regarding the most dire events circumventing El Caudillo, and his rather open declerations and actions, there has also been a change of heart inside the government of the Golden Throne. Indeed, I write to you this letter myself, Emperor of the Golden Throne, Jonach. There has never truly been a stage in the history of our two empires that we have had any sort of amicable relationship. Benevolent at best.
Consequently, this doesn't come to me as harshly as it should. Nonetheless, I shall get to the point. Because of your decision to, instead of following the triumvarte onto victory, you will defend the nation of Future England, we have no other choice but to, unfortunately, issue our official decleration of war. Subsequently, the nations of Dracun Imperium and the Second Empire of the Golden Throne are to be officially considered at war and fully belligerent.
Following with this statement, our entire embassy staff is expected to be allowed to leave your nation. Should your administration decide that this is not possible, your own embassy staff will be arrested and executed as prisoners of war, and we will never forget the injustice you committed. Regardless, I do not suppose you will create any problems concerning my embassy staff. I'm sure that you will allow Dr. Benarch free leave. His helicopter will escort him and his staff to a civilian cruise liner. Our soldiers will leave through military escort already present at the embassy - three UH-60 Blackhawks.
We thank you for your patience, and should you keep your honor and give our embassy safe leave, we promise the same to your own embassy staff in Fedala. I apologize for this unfortunate turn of events, but I fear this war is, and was, inevitable.
[signed]Jonach I
With that Dr. Bernarch coughed and showed the Dracunian spokesman out, only to say,"I never wanted this war."
[EDIT: Dammit, I dunno how to work the indent code.]

Doom Citadel, Doomingsland
The Emperor read over the letter from the Chancellor with a raised eyebrow. He let out a sigh and motioned for a servant to approach.
"Inform the High Command to annihilate the Dracun Imperium. None are to be spared. If it is war they ask for, it is war they shall recieve. Pity."
And those words sent the Legions of Doom on an intercept course to the Dracun Imperium. Their goal: the complete extermination of that nation and her people.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIS Legionnaire, 2nd Imperial Armada
"Admiral Meridius, change your heading to intercept the Dracun fleet and launch all available aircraft." said the High Lord Marshall, striding into the bridge from his quarters.
"May I ask why?" responded the admiral with a hint of surprise.
"The Chancellor just declared war, Casius." responded Kaeso bluntly. This had the desired effect.
Casius' eyes went wide and he looked at Kaeso as if he had two heads. "Truley?"
"Unfortunately so. The Emperor Himself has commanded their extermination. We are to start with their navy."
By now Caius had simmered down, taking a drag of his cigar. "Very well, Kaeso. I serve the Emperor."
He motioned for the bridge crew to begind making preparations for the attack. Pity... thought the Admiral to himself. He had been looking forward to fighting along side them. Well, they had a foolish leader, and had to pay the price.
The Julius Caesar had already begun to dispatch anti-ship missile armed F/A-91F fighter-bombers and F-78D air superiority fighters in preparation for an engagement with the English Navy. Switching targets wasn't all that difficult. Within twenty minutes, the sky was filled with roughly 150 fighters, 75 F-78s, 75 F/A-91s. These aircraft headed towards the enemy's fleet to soften it up before they got within range of ship-based missiles and artillery.
The F/A-91s, under the cover of active radar wave cancellation and their stealthy design, would come to within 500 miles of the enemy fleet and unleash their payload: four AGM-230 Trireme anti-shipping missiles. These missiles would cruise at a subsonic speed towards their targets to reduce IR signature, and utilized active radar wave cancellation to prevent radar from detecting their initial approach. Once they come within forty miles, a solid-fuel rocket engine would kick in, sending them to mach 3. By now, stealth wouldn't matter, because the enemy would have only thirty seconds to get their CIWS and anti-missile missiles to respond to this threat before they went into their terminal pop-up maneuver, and plunged their 800lb thermite warheads straight into the decks, incinerating anything they came into contact with (melting turret metal, burning right through armor, ect.)
The F-78s would stay back with the F/A-91s, providing cover.
Nearing the initial launch point and already within 1,000 miles of the Dracun fleet, the SSBNs were ordered to change target. Each had twenty-four Mars II SLBMs, which, assisted with a solid fuel rocket booster, would climb to an altitude of 120,000 feet. A scramjet engine would then kick in, pushing the warheads to mach ten. Finally, once within forty miles, the warheads would detach, and, with the assistance of GPS guidance, terminal milimetric wave radar, and winglets for maneuvering, fly into the enemy fleet. Each missile contained four 10,000 lb fuel air explosive warheads, enough to destroy all but the most heavily armored targets within a few square kilometers.
And, if anything were left, the fleet itself would finish the job in, moving forward and opening up on the enemy fleet from 500 miles away with the 8" rail guns and 20" ETMAS guns of the Legionnaire and ship-based Trireme missiles.
DIS Guardian
"Orders from the High Command, Brother Captain." said the man at the com station, wheeling around in his chair and handing Captain Ramius a slip of paper. It simply read: New target. Dracun fleet. Fire at will.
Those were simple enough orders.
"Very well..." grumbled the captain, not looking the least bit surprised. He didn't really like these peace-niks in the first place.
"Inquisitor Gaius, we've recieved launch orders!" called Ramius over to the ship's Inquisitor. All Doomingslandian naval vessels had an Inquisitor present to make sure the crew stayed "faithfull."
"Oh? Show me the orders, Brother." responded the man surprisedly, taking the slip out of his hand. "Very well. Off to our bloody buisiness, then." he said with a smirk, taking his missile key off of his neck and handing it to Ramius.
Ramius approached the console responsable for the launching of the missiles and inserted both keys. He motioned for Gaius to approach.
"One the count of three, brother."
"As you wish. One. Two. Three."
Both men twisted their keys, and the console let out a satisfying hum. A keyboard folded up, and an LCD screen asked for target coordinates. Ramius glanced at the slip of paper upon which the orders were printed and punched in the proper numbers, a different set for each MIRV. It took two minutes just to do that. Finally came the moment of truth...
"Flood missile tubes one through twelve!" he commanded the weapons officer. "Open bay doors!"
"Bay doors opening, Captain." responded the man neutrally, as if too affixed on his work.
"Fire."
The submarine shuddered as the first stage boosters of the Mars II missiles kicked in, sending the missiles out of the tubes, out of the water, into the air. The first stage then detatched, and the second stage took over, propeling it into the air. This same scene was repeated with the other four submarines, launching 120 such missiles.

The fleet didn't see it coming, all that happened was explosion after explosion and the red flames of fire flew into the air as black smoke filled the sky for miles. Screams went into the air as the fleet fought to stay alive, but then the missiles came and washed away any hope they had. Very few of the ships managed to stay afloat, and that's when the order came,
Return to home port, We repeat return to home port
The Captain of the one ships wondered what they hell was the point, and with sudden understanding he smiled, they would have pay back soon enough and those bastards would pay for all the lives they just killed. The ships turned around and slowly headed away from the disaster, picking up the survivors as they went.
Back at the Dracun Continent
Throughout Dracun defenses were being utilized, SAMs sites were now constantly being activated and planes were in the air constantly, different planes but never the less the skies were filled constantly, and the DIT forces were already planning out their strategies. It would become a war of attrition and that the Dracun Imperium knew how to survive.
Gas masks were being distributed as fast as they could be produced, to the people before government officials, the high Government officials were evacuated along with several thousand people at a time. They went by air, sea, and other means of evacuation. The Chancellor however stood his ground refusing to leave the country,
He turned to his window, looking at his people, people who may very soon be dead.

ENR Arcanus, 1st Recon Division
the Arcanus, along with the rest of the naval 1st recon division, was testing out some new stealth equipment on a routine border check when the divison suddenly came under attack, all hell broke loose everywhere, torpedoos, missles, planes, bombs, explosions were everywhere and the division, going completely unnoticed due to the new technology, was coming under heavy fire. the ships were going up like fireworks on the 4th of July and they needed help...
----------------------------------------------
ENSS Helios, Military Class space station
the Helios suddenly received a massive amount of distress signals coming from the 1st Recond Division, commanders from the ships were appearing on the communication LCD screens at the bridge. A sudden look of alarm appeared on the face of the commanding officer of the Helios.
one officer on a communication screen was screaming at the top of his loungs, red lights and spriting crewmen in the background, "attack" alarms blaring in the background.
"THEY CAME OUT OF NO WHERE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE F&^% IS GOING ON DOWN HERE BUT WE'RE TAKING A S%$* LOAD OF FIRE" screamed the officer, as an explosion rocked the ship "WHAT THE F$*& WAS TH....." the transmission ended, a "signal lost" message appearing on screen.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON DOWN THERE?!" yelled the commander of the Helios at one of the LCD screens.
"WE'RE UNDER ATTACK, WE NEED ASSISTANCE!" screamed a female officer, commander of the ENR Arcanus, when a sudden rush of water tossed the transmission camera around, shouts and screams audible in the background as fire blew across the screen. the scene was visible from the camera, sparks visible in the water, bodies floating in the water.
coordinants starting coming in, technicians punched in the numbers and awaited the order to fire.
"FIRE AT WILL" shouted the commander of the Helios, his command echoed by officers around the ship. "and use the new wepons" the commander said with a grim grin.
a low rumble could be heard throughout the ship, like distant thunder, as it suddenly got louder and the new wepons, although out of site, gathered very large amounts of light, the humming grew into a shaking of the space station and a loud sound similar to that of a revving up car engine, then, suddenly, a loud thunderclap sound occured and the light rushed towards its destination.
sattelite images, looking somewhat like the images the U.S. provided of its smart bombs in action during Desert Storm, appeared on screen as many large beams of light rushed into veiw, in the midst of the scene of complete chaos. Planes flying like hornets from a disturbed hornets' nest, ships firing missles, subs shooting torpedos, and in the middle of it all the 1st Recond Division, taking a huge amount of fire, although the other ships could be seen firing at each other. then everything seemed to stop as the lights hit their targets, followed by a bright flash of light on each screen. When the light faded ships were litteraly melting into the oceans, planes were falling out of the sky like flied, and the water was boiling, but the 1st Recon Division was untouched by the wepons.

Dargaard, Capitol of Elysium Nova
Information about the battle was rushing in, advisors and specialists were moving about the capitol building in a frantic state, shouting off statistics, papers, riots, etc.
an advisor suddenly ran up to the Majority leader of Elysium Nova
"Sir, I think we're at war" stated the advisor
the Majority leader gave a grave expression then said "So be it" and walked away to his office. As he closed the door he could hear advisors shouting out "We're at war! press conference in 1500!"

"Sir, the Dracun Fleet is on the run. They're attempting to flee for home, but are stopping to pick up survivors." said a young lieutenant manning the satelite uplink, interpreting data as it came.
"Fools. Very well, close to gun range and finish off what's left. We shall then sail for their homeland. All ahead full!" he commanded.
"All ahead full, aye." responded the helmsman casualy, pushing the throttle forward.
Within twenty minutes, the mighty dreadnought began to turn, giving its mighty 20" ETMAS guns a good field of fire on the enemy. The autloaders went to work, shoving in massive, jet assisted, GPS-guided shell. The hydrolics crooned, and the mighty guns elevated towards the sky. The remaining enemy ships were selected as targets.
"You may fire when ready." said the admiral in a relaxed fashion. Three seconds later, the entire ship shook as the mighty guns broke the erie silence in a great roar.
Massive flames sprout forth, and the shells were propeled high into the air. Fins were deployed, stabalizing their flight, and their jet assist activated, greatly extending their range. It would take only five minutes for the shells to impact the remaining ships. After that, twenty MV-68 light VTOL transports would head towards the wreckage to pick up any high ranking officers for interrogation.

Doom Citadel, Doomingsland
Standing on a great marble balcony that overlooked the expansive palace grounds, the Emperor reflected on the orders he had just given. His armies were to extinguish the lives of nearly three billion people, by far the largest genocide the world has yet to see. Yet, for all that, the Emperor was undaunted. He had once called the Chancellor his friend. Now he was betrayed, and so this fool had to pay the price in blood.
Taking a cigar off of a nearby tray and putting it in his mouth, a servant appeared out of nowhere with a light. Taking it, he smiled wryly as he took a drag. Footsteps could be heard behind him, and he knew what news they brought.
"My liege, the Dracun Fleet has been almost completely destroyed." said General Caius Gnaeus Crassus, his chief military advisor.
"As I suspected, General. Make sure the good admiral is properly recognized for the Empire's first naval victory in....quite some time," replied the Emperor in a calm tone, not even turning to greet the man.
"It shall be done, my lord."
"Very well." replied the Emperor in the same calm tone. The general turned towards the twenty-foot high archway that lead back into the citadel,
"Oh, and General," said the Emperor suddenly, finally turning, "Take care to have the good Chancellor's head on my desk in a timely manner." he said with a sardonic smile.
"As you wish, sire." replied General Crassus, bowing his head before turning and heading back into the Citadel.

The rest of the remaining outdated fleet was destroyed, and everyone was killed in the blasts and explosions that followed the massive assault. The cries of dead filled the air as they either drowned or were burned alive. The lucky ones were killed in the blasts.

Meanwhile, the submarine fleet was constantly patrolling the various islands big and small of the Dracun Continent, with the carriers and the likes doing the same. The shores were being finished, as they were becoming military bunkers and defenses against incoming enemy forces, though since the Dracun Continent was so vast they were placed strategically but the mountainous coast would help as well.
The various bases were set up and bunkers built, it will be a long and hard war for both sides but the Chancellor was confident that the Dracun Imperium would come out on top as it had in the past. The new Praetonian built fleet, which was still in the production but still numerous in the hundreds was prepared for anything as were the Sarzonian built aircraft. The ground forces were built by Phoenix Dynamix and would hopefully serve them well as they have so far.
The opposing forces had no idea what was coming to them, nor would they expect such brutality and ferociousness to come from a democratic country.
{OOC: Elysium Nova, I assume you're joining with the Dracun Imperium then? Just making sure.}
"Very well Field Marshall," stated Highest Minister Hunter Norris. The Highest Ministers face looked tired, and he looked weary. The stresses of war were not pleasant upon people, espically not those whom were advanced in years.
The Council for War had been a long one, with only a hand picked few military leaders there. Field Marshalls Roy Mustang and Hugo Anselm, along with Grand Admiral Bradley and Air Marshall Harry Beckman. The discussion was weather or not to send the Jagadian Grand Fleet to attack the Dracun Imperium or FutureEngland. Though the vague option of simply waiting for the The Macabees or Doomingsland to make the first move against the enemy. Though Field Marshall Mustang had made his point, that the Dracun Imperium was a far threatening foe, more so than FutureEngland.
A knock came at the door, following by two guards walking in with a messenger. "What is it?" asked Norris. "Sir, a report from one of our scout submarines sir," stated the messenger. Norris motioned for the messenger to finish. "Sir, the report is as read: "Dracun Imperium Naval Forces have been engaged, and routed by an unknown fleet. Though it is suspected that either the Macabees Navy or the Doomingsland Navy was responsible, though it is very hard to tell," stated the messenger finishing the report.
The room fell silent, and nothing was spoken while the messenger was leaving, once the room was secure again, chatting resumed. "Regardless of whom it is sir, I think the Dracun Imperium has been knocked down a peg or so," stated Bradley, "I suggest we finish the job by launching a surprise attack against the FutureEnglish Navy, if we get the right timing sir I'm more than sure we could send their fleet into utter chaos," exclaimed Bradley. Norris nodded, and scanned the room for any objections, he could find none. "Very well then Admiral, I'm giving the the go ahead to send all offensive fleets out to sea for this assault, ensure that the FutureEnglish Navy will never set sail on the seas again. Understood?" said Norris dryly. "Yes sir," said Bradley with a smirk forming across his face.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once the Council of War was concluded, the generals went about this business, espically Grand Admiral Bradley whom had much to do. Hunter Norris though quickly made his way to his office, he would have to get a Declaration of War prepared, or else the attack would be against Jagada's code of honor. As he reached his office he began to write the message. Since Jagada had no embassy in FutureEngland, and vis versa, the message would be sent threw secure channels, primarily as a message to their government.
Hunter began to write the letter:
Offical StatementReligious Commonwealth of Jagada
This is an Offical Declaration of War, issued by Highest Minister Hunter Norris against FutureEngland. Due to recent actions you've committed, we have no other option but to begin hostilites with your nation. We do hope this war will be swift and few be lost.
Norris ordered that it be delivered ten minutes before the fleet attacked.

Hammer Squadron, Exiting Doomingsland Airspace
The twenty-four B-9D bombers had been laden with eight AGM-240 Quinqereme missiles each. The missiles, although meant for anti-shipping, could be used against ground targets just as easily. The squadron would refuel over the 2nd Armada and recieve their escorts there. From there they would continue on to Dracun territory and unleash their deadly payload, targetted at the capital.
Meanwhile, several hundred of the missiles were schedualed to be modified to have their warheads changed to a more effective fuel air explosive, allowing for more damage to be caused.

[Map of Imperial Armies: http://img155.echo.cx/img155/9006/map8xv.jpg]
[Targul Frumos, Second Empire of the Golden Throne]
The Kriegsmarine had already unleased one of its fleets upon a very unfortunate enemy, in the form of the Golden Armada. However, more threats had proven themselves to exist, consequently, OberKommando des Kriegsmarine found itself in a position to launch another powerful armada to foreign seas, one just as powerful as the Golden Armada. It numbered, just like the Golden Fleet, six Elusive class Battleships, four Raus class Escort Carriers, eight Indestructable class Aircraft Carriers, thirty Manstein class Destroyers, fifteen Seydlitz class Cruisers, fifteen Clauswitz class Frigates, fifty Azores class Fast Attack Craft , and over another one hundred logistical and miscellanous vessels. And again, the total numbers came to two hundred and twenty-eight ships. The only difference is that it did not wield the power of the Empire's sole Super Dreadnought, the Zealous, nonetheless, it was not a fleet to ignore.
Targul Frumos was just busy with activity, as logistical personnel scuttled back and forth carrying small boxes and extranous supplies, as well as managed the heavy machinery. Meanwhile, cranes and such quickly and effectively loaded up the gigantic shipping with the required supplies, boxed into huge crates of wood and steel. The missile racks on each ship, including surface to air missile batteries, ASROC batteries, and other weapon systems, bristled with white warheads, each one boasting a black double-headed eagle, emblem of the Second Empire.
This task force, dubbed Hammer, coupled with the Golden Armada, was evidence of the Golden Throne's glory and a long dormant military potent. Indeed, Task Force Hammer, as well as her sister task force, the Golden Armada, would prove that the Golden Throne was not a power to underestimate. The entire power of Hammer was placed under the trusted command of Admiral Ludwig von Raeder, although it was his first time in command of anything so large. Regardless, he was thought to be one of the most talented officers in the Kriegsmarine, and this would be his time to live up to expectations.
The ground forces assigned with Task Force Hammer were to be all formulated from the new Waffen-SS. OberKommando des Werhmacht thought it more proper to waist foreign lives, instead of Macabee lives, and moreover, the Waffen-SS would prove to be more murderous, which was a don in the Golden Throne's military enviroment. Consequently, the units assigned for active tour of duty in Dracun Imperium were the 2nd Waffen-SS Panzer Divisionen, 3rd Waffen-SS Panzer Divisionen, 4th Waffen-SS Panzer Divisionen and 5th Waffen-SS Panzer Divisionen. Infantry units were the 1st and 2nd Waffen-SS Panzer Grenadier Divisionen, while the 1st Waffen-SS Special Operations Regiment was also going to make an appearance. Total forces were expected at twenty-three thousand seven hundred and twenty frontline personnel, and fifty-nine thousand three hundred and seventy six logistical personnel, for a grand total of eighty-three thousand and ninety-six soldiers. More clandestinely, inside the bowls of Task Force Hammer also rode the dogs of the 1st Waffen-SS Special Operations Task Force [Kurzes Schwert], entire composed of special operatives from Doomingsland who had been recruited into the Golden Throne's Waffen-SS. They were rumored to kill for lust, and do it with a style even Vlad Dracula would be envious of - that's what High Command was expecting, nothing less. This [b]was, indeed, a campaign of blood.
Task Force Hammer was protected in the same method the Golden Armada was. It was sorrounded by three heavy rings of ASW/ASuS, composed of the destroyers, cruisers and frigates; one ring at fifteen nautical miles from the nucleus, the second at fifty and the third at a hundred nautical miles distance. In the air rode a heavy AWACs and an even heavier CAP, making Task Force Hammer the most seaworthy task force in the war, save the Golden Armada. It would prove almost impossible to destroy the entire task force, and the enemies of the Empire would soon find that out...albeit the difficult way.
The final destination was a position a hundred nautical miles away from the Dracun Imperium city of Ending Falls, which would thus put Task Force Hammer between said city and Dracun's Imperial Provence, putting both in heavy jeopardy. Nonetheless, the Dracun mainland would be left as the prize of Doomingsland. The Golden Throne would have its fun ravaging Dracun's Colonial Provence. The estimated time of arrival was only six days at a full velocity of twenty-six knots.
The days of blood were only a snap of the fingers away...

Praetonia hasn't even confirmed the order, but to make this role play interesting we can assume you already have the ships. According the naval/air bases on your map, how would this fleet be split up? As in, where would my sattelites see your ships, and in what numbers? Details count, the more specific, the better I can make my role play.
Thanks.]

DIS Legionnaire
Admiral Meridius stood outside of the bridge on the observation deck, watching the sky as the bombers refueled. They were within striking range of the Dracun continent, now. Satelite imagery had shown a large force of enemy interceptor aircraft taking off in preparation for the attack. The enemy knew they were coming. This, of course, didn't change anything.
The pilots of the escorting F-78D air superiority fighters knew that they would be squaring off against Sarzonian-built SZ-series aircraft and weren't the least bit worried. After what Mobius Squadron pulled off against the ISAF in Inkana, one would think that any aircraft built by the Avalon Aerospace Corporation falls apart on takeoff, or purposely attracts missiles.
To defeat a large force of enemy aircraft, one needed an equaly large arsenal of air-to-air missiles. The F-78s would be used as flying arsenal ships, loading up with long-range AAMs and sending huge swarms of missiles at the enemy. When the bombers were done refueling, they were joined by 120 F-78D King Demons, and 80 F/A-91F King Savages. Once they got within 210 miles of the enemy airforce, all hell would break loose...

OOC: Currently neutral, but leaning towards aiding Dracun Imperium.
BTW i'm not yet giving out info. on what troops I have out yet, still doing pre-battle operations
IC:
Strike force I, Experimental technologies Spec. Ops.
A man clad fully in grey and black camoflauge stood at the front of a group of 50 men. The men were divided into groups of 10, each with one member standing up. All standing men were Sargeants, except for the man in front, the other men were highly trained elite units from the Elysium Nova Urban military (ENUM for short, this is a specialised police force usually responsible for putting down rebellions within the country) and from the FFI (federal foreign investigations agency), the sargeants were highly decorated men from ENI (Elysium Nova Infiltration forces). A large LCD screen at the front of the room showed the image of a map with some symbols showing the current positions of all the enemy troops.
"We will be infiltrating the the Waffen divisions here, here and here" the man at the front of the room pointed at the positions of the Wafeen Grenadier and Spec. ops. groups. "Our goal is to infiltrate these ships and eliminate all commanding officers, to secure and store the technologies on these ships, and to leave with little or no loses. We will be using the new light weight SPECTRA armor today, unlike the normal battlegear this armor will be light and will cover our bodies completely, including the extremities. The ET institute has also supplied us with the new Class 5 Pilum rifles, and Photon weponry class automatic sub-machineguns." stated the man at the front of the room. "Any questions?" no questions were ask, so the man proceeded. "ok, I will now give your teams your objectives, team one you will be...."

Capital Ship Ladun, Alma Class Aircraft carrer
The Bridge was filled with red light that lit up the room, it was to symbolize that it was night time. Several sailors sat at large computer screens keeping the ships status in order, watching RADAR/LIDAR and SONAR. The Admiral stood there in his gray uniform, one that some what looked like those of Nazi Germany, the Admiral had several medals on it including the Medal of Heroism. He had earned this medal while leading a small task force of Destroyers and crushed a Naval force some rebels had came up with. During that battle you could say the Admiral got up close and personnal with the enemy, risking his ship greatly but not one of his ships where sunk and very little men killed. "Sir, we're approaching 2,800 Km away from Dracun." reported one of the sailors sitting infront of a screen. "Very good then. Surface the ship and sound the alert alarm for the selected Air Groups. As well get ready to send a transmission to Dracun Imperium." the captain grabed on to a pole as the ship began to surface. Most countries did not have a submergable air craft carrier and they would probally gaze at its beauty. Although it held less air craft then a full sized aircraft carrier it couldn't get hit by surface missiles. But it would have to get hit by torpedos which would mean ASHUM 30-mm Guns could easily blow out of the water.
Secret Transmission to Dracun Imperium
With orders from Comrade Stanovich the Task Force Falcon has ben ordered to help your nation, Dracun Imperium, in fighting those who have attacked you. We request that your air fields be open to our air craft so that we may send a group of air craft ahead to help you. The position of our fleet currently is about 2,800 Killometers North East of your Country. We have sevral Air groups on stand by preparing to lift off and head for Dracun.

Cargo Hold of the DIS Imperivm
The massive invasion dreadnought, nearly 1000 meters in length and sporting six 25" ETMAS guns was one of the latest ships to come out of Imperial Shipyards. This was the first of a new breed of warship: a super dreadnought designed to carry a division-sized force into hostile waters and support landing operations on its own. It, of course, had the rest of the fleet escorting it, along with twenty or so of the new Hornet-class amphibious assault ships supplementing it. Then there were the regular cargo ships carrying the grunts and logistics personel. Those wouldn't be unloaded until a beachhead had been established.
5,000 bloodthirsty Legionaries marched in step within the absolutely massive cargo hold. Every day they would parade through in their various units to practice their entrace into the Dracun capital. Of course, none of them expected they'd be parading through in such a fashion. That is, unless they wanted to die.
The cargo hold was a spacious structure, spanning roughly two-thirds of the mighty vessel and housing the mighty invasion army. The cieling was roughly fifty feet high, with a massive Doomingsland flag decorating the wall farthest from the embarkation area. The floor was of a polished black design, the cieling lights reflecting right off of it. The reflections of the men were always present, it seemed.
The vehicle crew mostly sat around or within their tanks or IFVs, chatting with one another, or planning their initial attack.
The invasion itself wouldn't kick off for quite some time, however. There was still the issue of the enemy fleet and the beach fortifications. Those could be dealt with easily enough, however.
The vehicles had all been neatly parked together side by side along the walls of the cargo hold, right by the door that lead to the embarkation area, where the vehicles would pull up to the LCACs for the trip down to the beach.
Sergeant Amulius Cornelius was the tank commander of an M-29A4 King Arbiter main battle tank. He and his other two crewmen sat out on top of their mighty beast of steel, reclining on the turret slope. They, being tankers, didn't need to participate in the drills, so their just sat back and watched.
"Are we there yet?" asked Private Flavius Antio, the tank's driver, in a way remiscent of a child. He, being the youngest crewman at nineteen, was the vehicle's resident wise-ass.
Such men were rare in the Doom Legion, seeing that their training tending to deprive the men of their basic ability to feel emotion. There always were exceptions, however. Sadists. Antio, while seeming to be a normal man, was quite bloodthirsty, indeed. He'd reportadly skinned an enemy infantry squad alive after his tank had been knocked out during some other war of Imperialism.
"No..." muttered corporal Antonius Narcius, the tank's gunner, in response. He and Antio had been going on like this for the past hour or two. This was a man who seemed not to have feelings, and so was infinately patient. No matter how much Antio taunted him with 'are we there, yet?', he always responded in the same way. They were just starting to annoy Sergeant Cornelius...
"WILL YOU TWO SHUT THE FUCK UP?!?!?" he demanded suddenly over the clacking of hundreds of boots, sitting up on the turret and glaring at the two of them, causing a guilty look to come across the faces of the two soldiers.
"Yes, sir..." they replied sheepishly in response.
Cornelius, being the most experienced and oldest soldier in the tank, was somewhat of a father figure to the other two. Legionaries rarely got to see their parents. He was a seasoned tanker, having fought three campaigns under the High Lord Marshall. His graying hair and hardened face made him look to be in his late forties. Such was the price of war. He was only thirty-one.
He was the quintesential Legionary: cold, ruthless, strong, fanatically loyal, patient, and devout. He certainly expected the Dracun war to be a bloody one, but fully expected for the Empire to triumph once more. He, didn't however, think he and his men would be coming home alive in this war. After all, they were to be in the first wave. Few ever survived in the first wave.

OOC:Mac, that's my old fleet, me and Prae worked out a new fleet, should be one of the later posts. Although he hasn't IC confirmed, I believe he confirmed the other so that fleet should be considerably larger.
I'll work on those numbers as soon as I can though. Sorry but I can't post for a bit should have one up soon though.
ooc: ugh, having been away for a few days, I've apparently missed a lot. Consider this tagged, and for Mac and Dracun, in the Operation thread I left a post concerning the two of you in the forms of secret messages. But for now, tagged.
