Following the end of the Republican civil war, tens of thousands of Republican troops were held prisoner, many have been given the option of either serving 25 years (or in some cases, execution) for treason, or serve 3 years as a mercenary, after which they will be granted citizenship and given a small parting sum and allowed to return to civilian life. Thus far, about eighteen thousand of the twenty thousand who were offered have accepted, and the Imperial Defence Ministry has forged three brigades out of them. They are equipped with largely captured Republican equipment, supplemented with second generation Tundric equipment. These prisoner brigades are all well trained and combat experienced, and the ranks are filled with Loyal Imperial Guardsmen and officers who will ensure their complete loyalty. There is little concern as to whether these troops will betray, as the Tundric people, even the Republican traitors, are most honourable and loyal, and not prone to betraying their oaths.

In addition to being combat experienced and well trained, nations hiring out these brigades do not need to concern themselves over casualties, as each member of them is totally expendable, and thus they can be used for high risk missions or outright suicidal operations.

The composition of each brigade is as follows:

108x Freedom Main Battle Tanks (3 crew each = 324 total)
108x LAV-5 Section Combat Vehicles (3 crew each = 324 total)
756x Mechanized Infanteers
2016x Light Infanteers
756x Airmobile infanteers
24x towed 105mm howitzers (6 personnel each = 144 total)
12x SP 155mm Paladins (4 personnel each = 48 total)
24x Artillery Trucks (3 personnel each = 72 total)
36x Liberty Utility Helicopters (4 personnel each = 144 total)
72x 5-ton personnel trucks (2 each = 144 total)
324x Logistics Personnel
72x Humvees
36x HLVWs (2 each = 72 total)
36x MLVWs (2 each = 72 total)
36x LLVWs (2 each = 72 total)
108x Flatbeds (2 each = 216 total)
36x Engineering vehicles (Bridgelayers, minelayers, minesweepers, recovery vehicles, repair vehicles) (4 each = 144)
112x Engineers
36x BSVs (Battlefield Support Vehicles) (4 each = 144)
112x Medical personnel
24x Ambulances (2 each = 48 total)
12x Mobile surgical suits (5 each = 60 total)
112x Staff personnel
Total personnel = 6,104
Cost for 1 brigade for 6 months = $805,248,000 for garrison/occupation duty (OOC: Iraq occupation), $905,248,000 for standard combat duties (OOC: Iraq war), 1,005,248,000 for total war duties (OOC: All out, full blown war, fairly equal sides)
A down payment of $500,000,000 must be made to cover potential equipment and personnel losses, the costs cover operating costs including payroll, fuel, munitions, food, water, etc etc

Equipment:

"Freedom" Main Battle Tank:

The standard heavy armoured vehicle of the Republic armies, many came into Imperial Possession throughout the war as factories and tanks that were sitting at bases or that surrendered were taken into Imperial stockpile, and transferred to storage facilities. They have been rolled out for use by the prisoner brigades. The tank is a fairly good all around vehicle, though lacks the advanced electronics and guided missiles of the Imperial Arctic Wolf III.

Crew: 3
Combat Weight: 63,400 kgs
Speed: 68 km/h
Max Range: 580 km
Armament:
1x 125mm smoothbore
1x .50 on top of the turret
1x .50 on a coaxial mount
3x banks of 4 76mm grenades

LAV-5 Section Combat Vehicle:

The LAV-5 SCV was the standard light armoured vehicle of the Republican army, and was used in large numbers by the Imperial armies, though later phased out in favour of the LAV-6. It is an all purpose platform that serves as a mobile base of operations and combat system for an infantry section, supporting its infanteers with a 30mm cannon, 40mm grenade machine gun, .50 cal machine gun, two banks of grenade launchers, and a guided missile system that can be loaded with either GM-AT or GM-AA (Anti tank and anti-air respectively). In its bay it holds a section of 7 infanteers along with an AT weapon and 60mm mortar plus limited ammo for each. It has a crew of 3, each armed with a carbine variant of the standard issue assault rifle.

Crew: 3
Combat Weight: 63,400 kgs
Speed: 68 km/h
Max Range: 580 km
Armament:
1x 30mm smoothbore
1x .50 on top of the turret
1x 40mm grenade machine gun on a coaxial mount
2x banks of 4 76mm grenades
1x two tube guided missile system (fires either GM-AT or GM-AA, most are fitted with GM-AT due to lack of air defence systems in the brigade)

Artillery Systems:
105mm howitzer = a simple towed 105mm howitzer with a crew of six, this includes guards with rifles and a squad automatic weapon
155mm Paladin = An M109 paladin self propelled 155mm howitzer, bigger punch, and more mobility

Logistics Vehicles:
HLVW, MLVW, LLVW = Heavy logistics vehicle wheeled, medium logistics vehicle wheeled, and light logistics vehicle wheeled, they carry out various duties from carrying ammo, food, water, fuel, transporting personnel, aid supplies, or spare parts. The backbone of any military force. Each has a driver and a guard armed with a carbine.
Engineering Vehicles: A general purpose engineering vehicle that is modular and can be modified for any purpose from bridgelaying to recovering tanks, modular kits are included with each brigade so they can be switched around
BSV = Battlefield Support vehicle, these modular vehicles are usually ammo carriers, carrying ammunition, spare parts, and bits of fuel into battle, they are light armoured vehicles with a machine gun for defence. Other variants include armoured ambulance, command vehicle, troop transport, mobile headquarters
Ambulances = Unarmoured ambulances
Mobile Surgical Suites = Large trucks with protection against small arms, each contains medical supplies, small medical staff, and a single surgical theater and small recovery area. Able to perform simply surgery while moving, complex while stationary. The backbone of MASH outfits
Flatbeds and troop transports = Simple trucks for carrying vehicles and personnel respectively

"Liberty" Utility helicopter

The "Liberty" was the standard utility chopper of the Republic air forces, it ferried troops, cargo, and with attachable stub wings, weapon systems. Can be fitted with machine guns, cannons, rockets, missiles, electronic systems, and bombs. Each carries a section of 7 infanteers and two side miniguns manned by aircrew, standard operating procedure is for each helo to make three trips to transport the whole airmobile infantry battalion.

Mechanized Infanteers:
Each mechanized infanteer is equipped with the modular vest, which each soldier modify for their own personnel needs, each section (7 men) has two SAT disposable rocket launchers, and one 90mm Recoilless rifle in the section combat vehicle, as well as a 60mm mortar. Each section has two SAW gunners, two grenadiers, a comm operator, a section commander, and a combat medic. Each soldier (exlcluding saw gunners) has an A-7A2 rifle, firing 5.56mm rounds, with nine mags on their vest, one in a buttpouch in their rifle, and one loaded with an additional attached to the loaded mag via mag clips, for a total of 12 mags. They have four grenades, canteen, NOD-4s, laser, tactical light with IR filter, compass, personal combat radio, three days rations, Type-4 ballistic vests with inserts, 10mm side arm with two spare clips, combat knife, multi-tool, and other miscellaneous kit. The grenadiers have 24 40mm grenades, and no hand grenades, and the saw gunners have the same minus the rifle and mags, instead having an A-9A2 SAW, and two spare mag pouches. The weapon sights are 3.4x C79A2 Elcan, and each has a backup iron sight and an EOTech CQB sight. Pistols have tritium sights as well.

Light Infanteers: Largely the same as mechanized infanteers, minus the mobility and firepower of the LAV-5, also, they do not all have mortars or recoilless rifles, instead recoiless rifles and Javelin missiles are assigned to various units, as are mortars, and more powerful 7.62mm general purpose machine guns and 40mm company suppression weapons. These are assigned to various units, with no set pattern.

Airmobile Infanteers: They do not carry rations, carry two additional grenades, and otherwise largely the same as the others.

Message:
The prisoners are being mobilized and all kit is being prepared to ship out, before shipping out, we need a destination and we need to know how we you wish to get the vehicles out, we can transport the vehicles and personnel, minus the MBTs, BSVs, and engineering vehicles, via heavy lift cargoplanes, but the MBTs, EVs, and BSVs are to impractical to airlift, MBTs are simply to heavy, EVs and BSVs are heavy, and awkward, although we could lift those, we need a port to land the tanks at, then ship them by rail to whereever you need them. The Tundra will also maintain close vigilance on the hostilities to intervene if Feline Catfish gives us reason to do so. Thus far, total cost for the first six months is $2,415,744,000. If hostilities erupt and they find themselves in a total war scenario, additional funds will be charged to cover further fuel, parts, and munition costs, unless your military is willing to handle them, in which case no extra charge is applied.

Makaar would like to know if there is any possibility of a price reduction in exchange for certain trade privileges with the Assembly. If you will lower the price to $2,400,000,000, then we will also provide you with gold and mining rights within Makaar for as long as you want.
