Basically, I'm planning an RP where the people of Quebec wish to secede from El Caudillo, and begin a guerrilla warfare insurgency that threatens to oust the El Caudillans and establish Québécois independence. If anyone is interested, please sign up here. To prevent a dogpile (I believe that's the term?), I'm going to limit this RP to 6 nations (6 if you include me). If you do decide you'd like to join, the following roles are available:

1.Québécois secessionist guerrillas (I'm going to RP some of them, but if you want, you can RP a rival guerrilla group, or a different branch of the same group) - Fluffywuffy, The Real ALM

2.Pro-El Caudillan Québécois (same as above) - Theao

3.Intervene on the secessionists' side (you may send up to 500 troops to aid the guerrillas, no more than that, please) - Dostanuot Loj

4.Intervene on the El Caudillan side (again, please do not send more than 500 troops)


If anyone has any questions, please post them here. I don't want the in character thread to be cluttered with out of character comments.

OOC: It has been a while since the RALM did anythign Terroristy. We will do a rival guerilla group under the influence of the Real Anime Liberation Movement.

How about a general timeframe on when this will start?
Also, I have one important question. Will this be the current Quebec countryside.. or will this be radicly different and only in your imagination?

This'll probably start sometime this evening, around 6:00 P.M. (Central Time). Everyone will be notified via TG when it starts.

One final question then. Do you want them to seperate? Or do you plan to win?
Either is perfictly accecpable, I'm just curious of your intent with the RP's outcome.

I don't want a planned outcome. Whichever side gives up first, loses. It'll be more unpredictable that way. :D

Just one thing. The guerilla group I am overseeing; are terror attacks are implied in their activities (as in dirty bombs, kidnappings, assasinations, WMDs, whatnot)? Or is it like a classic guerilla war, like the Chinese Civil War or Vietnam, with a main focus on unorthodox combat versus organized forces?

Would it be possible to play a pro-El Caudillan guerrilla group? Something along the lines of the paramilitariy organisations that fought for Milosovic's government in Yugoslavia (Arkhan's Tigers etc.).
