Recently the Desarthan government has faced inner turmoil. Normally laws are passed in open referendum by the people and only occasionally decided by the Parliament. However, right-wing leaders recently pushed a law outlawing extreme politcal groups. The law has faced opposition from the nation's leader/head of parliament was outraged by the legislation, and is currently trying to push for the repealment of the law.
