In the depth of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps main research facility, experaments raged on. This was not torture, it was voluntary for all those involved. The largest experiment that was on record for the facility was the SCS, otherwise known as Case 327.

General Project Description:
The development of the SCS, or Spartan Combat Suit, is for the purpose of entering disputed or enemy territory with little to no knoledge by the enemy of their existance. The suit is made from a composite alloy using chemical byproducts from manufacturing facilities in undisclosed locations. Suit uses a neural interface to assist the wearer in notification of low ammunition in the weapon, location of enemies, and storage compartments for up to (but not exceeding) 8 grenades. Weapon movemnt is better due to the neural implants enhanging the stregnth of the wearer.

Weapon Information:
The SAS uses the same weaponry as the Shazbotdom Marine Corps. The newly developed XR series of weaponry will be the main focus of the SAS Program. Some of the weapons can be Dual-Wielded (XR-02 and XR-03) in the event of a firefight. This is highly effective against multiple targets and can injure, or even kill, roughly 10 enemy soldires without any major complications.

Conclusion:
It is the conclusion of this commitee that the project should continue as schedualed. More funding shall be granted to the project in the hopes that, by this experiment, the saftey and security of the Holy Empire be sustained for many years to come.

I have been unsuccessful at finding an image of the shotgun from HALO. And there are a ton of fan sites, too many to look through. If you have one then would you please send it to me? That could be the XR-06 weapon when i decide to RP the research and production of it.


EDIT: never mind. I found an image of the shotgun. Did an image search through Google for "Halo & Shotgun" and found one 2 pages in.

This will not be sale when it is completed. They are sort of a higher level of Special Operations than say the Brittish SAS or other similar groups.

OOC: I want to get ahold of this if he starts selling it, it's a pretty good looking set-up of MJOLNIR II and the rest of the HALO equipment, better than some I've seen.

Subject 021 suffered a major setback when a small part of chip 231 went inoperable. Doctor Jacobson went in and repaired the damage to the chip. With roughly 100 subjects, this is the only major setback that we have encountered since the creation of the project. The suit is almost fully completed. Were working currently on a specialized polymer to use for the HUD as well as for the clear visual port of the helmet. Were not sure how long it will take to synthisize, and how many times we will have to make adjustments to the polymer for it to work the way it's supposed to.

All subejcts are healthy. As an example, Subject 083 was lifting weights on the Bench Press. On a check of how much he was lifting, the readout came to 821lbs, more than 6 times of what he lifted before he came to us. Experimentation on the subjects is to be halted until we have fully completed the suit as all of our resources at this moment are going into finishing the suit.

All subjects are healthy and have shown great improvment in all their abilities these past few days. The suit is fully integrated and there are 20 that are now rolled off of the assembly lines. Orders are for 100 of these suits to be built for the SCS Project. The integration of the suit to human integration is almost complete and the weapons to be used for the suit are fully integrated with the suit. The HUD displays armor status, ammo status, and the location of enemy targets in the area.

All subjects are healthy and have shown great improvment in all their abilities these past few days. The suit is in full manufacturing mode now and 89 have come off of the assembly line. The subjects have begun to test the suit to human integration as it is at completion. The work done by the scientists and subjects in this experiment and development of this project has been extrordinary and they are to be commended for it. I have put in merits for them all.

As many rumors have been spreading around about certain facilities within the Holy Empire, we come to you with a message. Yes, the Holy Empire has been engauging in scientific research and development of a new breed of fighters. They will be dawning a suit we call the SCS, or Spartan Combat Suit. The model that was developed is to be released to the Shazbotdom Marine Corps under the Ultra Elite Special Operations division that will be newly created.

Information will not be released about the SCS or the subjects that have been recruited for this experiment.
