The United States of Shalrirorchia, in reaction to the increasingly aggressive presence of neoconservative governments in the region, has proposed the formation of the Global Defense Alliance, or GDA.
The GDA is envisioned as a military alliance dedicated to the preservation of liberty throughout the world through use of diplomacy, sanctions, and military force. GDA is committed to the elimination of global fascism, aggressive fundamentalism, and terrorism in an effort to preserve freedom.
GDA is obviously an alliance for those of a moderate to liberal political alignment. GDA members must be committed to the cause of personal liberty in their own countries as well as internationally. The GDA is underwritten by the considerable funds and military of the United States of Shalrirorchia. As a founder of the GDA, the USS is dedicated to the goal of stopping the human rights abuses of countries like El Caudillo, who is likely to be first on the agenda.
