Bahamonde, El Caudillo

Several white vans, with the El Caudillan national flag painted on both sides, pulled into the massive soccer stadium, prompting a massive, spontaneous, enthralled cheer from the crowd, who rose to their feet and loudly applauded their arrival. The vans drove into the very center of the stadium, skidded to a stop, and the drivers got out, grim-faced and silent. The back doors of the vans were opened, and out were hauled a total of 1,000 shackled, bound, gagged persons deemed 'scum' by the government. Most of them were Marxists, several from anarchists, and a few were fascists, Nazis, atheists, environmentalists, feminists, social democrats, and other dregs. The crowd went ecstatic, becoming so excited that the scene was akin to thousands of pre-adolescent girls at a Britney Spears concert. Smiling, several men in black dragged the prisoners up onto a hastily-constructed wooden stage that had been built in less than eight hours, which had been built exclusively for this event. Standing in the center of the stage were Minister of Justice Friedrich Erhard and Minister of Internal Security Clement Lamprecht. The audience cheered even louder.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to today's special event," Lamprecht bellowed into the microphone. "Today, in honor of the God we deeply love and greatly fear, we will purge this world of one thousand sinners, who will be delivered into the arms of Lucifer, whom these odious abominations worshipped so fervently. In Emperor Anastasio VI's name, I do hereby sentence this prisoners...to death!!!!!!"

The cheering was now so loud it was nearly excruciating. Had it been any louder, eardrums would have shattered like dropped panes of glass.

Lamprecht smiled, bade the crowd farewell with a pleasant wave, then entered one of the vans and was driven away. Shortly afterwards, Erhard had departed as well.

Two fat, topless, masked men began pounding drums rapidly, to build the suspense, as the crowd chanted, "Kill them, kill them, kill them!"

One thousand executioners, each of them burly, buff, and over seven feet tall, with their heads so throroughly shaved they gleamed like polished marbles, climbed onto the stage, each carrying a huge, wickedly sharp ax that could cleave almost anything in two.

Each of them stood in a certain spot, drew their arms back, and prepared to swing.

A countdown began.

"10!"

"9!"

"8!"

"7!"

"6!"

"5!"

"4!"

Now, the crowd joined in, and each of them cried the numbers in unison:

"0!"

When the countdown reached zero, each executioner swung his ax at the exact same time. Blood immersed the stage as decapitated heads rolled about like bowling balls, and the crowd went wild.

Tell us not to throw our weight around, if that is supposed to mean anything come from you I hope that your not offended when we tell you its not. Although in past times we often threw this weight around, we have become wiser and only when closest and most trusted allies such as El Caudillo are do we dare threaten the use of war. We weren't insulting you, far from it. There is a big difference between condemnation statements and insults. We recognise national sovereignty well enough, as I don't remember myself OR my government claiming we were going to invade you. A statement of condemnation should not be taken as a foreshadowment to war engagement or invasion. And if you're done attempting to get the last word in, then so am I. As soon as permission was given for the deployment of forces, the 200,000-strong 38th Army began to board ships and transport aircraft for the trip over to El Caudillo. The 5th Air Force would be brought over via cargo planes, the men and aircraft being forced to share space in the fleet of C-5 Galaxies.

3rd Armada, which was already at sea, set a course for El Caudillo waters. These would be put in place to crush any landing attempts.

The first troops to arrive were via cargo plane. These were Imperial Regulars, some of the best trained soldiers in the world. Clad in polished black body armor and fatigues, they made a nice show for the cameras and locals by marching in step down the ramp door of the aircraft in a tight formation, their serated bayonets, fixed to their rifles, shimering in the sun, and the golden crosses attached to their brest plates of kevlar and steel gleaming. Their faces were hidden behind tinted plexiglass visors built into their helmets, making them look all the more uniform.

This was a company of the 3rd Battalion, 1st Brigade, 31st Infantry Division. Most of the men had seen action in some random war of conquest or suppresion. The unit was lead by a standard bearer, wearing a bearskin headdress reminscent of their Roman ancestors, and a captain wearing a gladius at his side and a plumed helmet.

Bahamonde, El Caudillo

Several white vans, with the El Caudillan national flag painted on both sides, pulled into the massive soccer stadium, prompting a massive, spontaneous, enthralled cheer from the crowd, who rose to their feet and loudly applauded their arrival. The vans drove into the very center of the stadium, skidded to a stop, and the drivers got out, grim-faced and silent. The back doors of the vans were opened, and out were hauled a total of 1,000 shackled, bound, gagged persons deemed 'scum' by the government. Most of them were Marxists, several from anarchists, and a few were fascists, Nazis, atheists, environmentalists, feminists, social democrats, and other dregs. The crowd went ecstatic, becoming so excited that the scene was akin to thousands of pre-adolescent girls at a Britney Spears concert. Smiling, several men in black dragged the prisoners up onto a hastily-constructed wooden stage that had been built in less than eight hours, which had been built exclusively for this event. Standing in the center of the stage were Minister of Justice Friedrich Erhard and Minister of Internal Security Clement Lamprecht. The audience cheered even louder.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to today's special event," Lamprecht bellowed into the microphone. "Today, in honor of the God we deeply love and greatly fear, we will purge this world of one thousand sinners, who will be delivered into the arms of Lucifer, whom these odious abominations worshipped so fervently. In Emperor Anastasio VI's name, I do hereby sentence this prisoners...to death!!!!!!"

The cheering was now so loud it was nearly excruciating. Had it been any louder, eardrums would have shattered like dropped panes of glass.

Lamprecht smiled, bade the crowd farewell with a pleasant wave, then entered one of the vans and was driven away. Shortly afterwards, Erhard had departed as well.

Two fat, topless, masked men began pounding drums rapidly, to build the suspense, as the crowd chanted, "Kill them, kill them, kill them!"

One thousand executioners, each of them burly, buff, and over seven feet tall, with their heads so throroughly shaved they gleamed like polished marbles, climbed onto the stage, each carrying a huge, wickedly sharp ax that could cleave almost anything in two.

Each of them stood in a certain spot, drew their arms back, and prepared to swing.

A countdown began.

"10!"

"9!"

"8!"

"7!"

"6!"

"5!"

"4!"

Now, the crowd joined in, and each of them cried the numbers in unison:

When the countdown reached zero, each executioner swung his ax at the exact same time. Blood immersed the stage as decapitated heads rolled about like bowling balls, and the crowd went wild.
