Announced today was the recent discovery of a rather large deposite of fairly high quality iron, easily accessed due to its closeness to the surface. The good luck we seem to be having with this held out long enough to provide a handy spring nearby which is quite large enough to supply a worker population large enough to work the mine.
The only sticking point is that the mine is in the Outer Waste, an area of territory that is generaly disputed. This is caused by the fact that Goblins will dispute just about anything, so we are rather unsure of who we dispute this territory with.
In any case, the iron mine is ours and we will be damned if you take it. That is all.
