Congress unanimously passes "Regulation of Morality Act II"

El Caudillo
18-06-2005, 16:51
Today, in a speech before Parliament, Minister of Morality and former bishop Francois Vorster admitted to overlooking various "loop-holes," in the previous act, which he demanded be remedied by passing through Parliament a second Regulation of Morality Act. He cited, for example, the continuing popularity of rap music, rock n' roll, and violent television shows, which he calls "a sickening, shocking, and ghastly trend." He said, "As a God-fearing nation founded upon puritanical Christian principles, we must apply the utmost effort to utterly cleanse this godly nation of all sin." The country, which is overwhelmningly Christian (mostly Catholic) resoundingly applauded these measures, while those of other faiths had mixed views. Muslims' response to the acts has been vehemently negative. In the past week, over 241 Muslims who have protested against these laws have been arrested and detained- prompting an outcry from more Muslims, to which the Minister of Justice, Friedrich Erhard, commented: "We are not combatting Islam. We are not combatting those who adhere to the worship of Allah. We are combatting those who disrespect our laws, those who question our government, and those who display dangerously dissenting views."

In an exclusive interview with the country's only newspaper, Crusaders Weekly, Minister Vorster briefly outlined what the second Regulation of Morality Act entails.

"This second act pleases me profoundly," he said. "Its implementation will result in the complete disappearance of crime in this land."

The new law stipulates:

1.All television shows, movies, and cartoons, are to be strictly censored so no violence is shown. (The previous act censored profanity, nudity, and "crudeness")
2.All video games, except completely non-violent ones, are to be banned. To own video games, one must pass several tests; if the individual passes, he may pay 250,000 Pesetas to obtain a license designating him as a government-approved video game owner.
3.All action figures that represent violent movies or cartoons (i.e., Star Wars, etc.) are to be banned. Those that are already owned by citizens will be confiscated. All toys with weapons will be confiscated.
4.Rap music, rock n' roll music, hip-hop music, disco, rhythm and blues, and other "ghastly" music will be outlawed, to preserve the morality of El Caudillo.
5.Long hair for men and boys is prohibited. If the hair reaches below one inch of the neck, the man or boy will be arrested, taken to a barber shop, and will have his hair cut; he will then pay a fine and be released.
6.Make-up is to be outlawed. Vorster explained: "We don't want our fair young ladies looking like call girls."
7.The sale of condoms, birth control pills, diaphragms, etc. is to be outlawed.
8.Sex education is not to be taught in schools. Teachers who violate this are subject to revocation of their license.
9.Bestialty, pedophilia, etc. are to be outlawed.
10.All apparrel (sp?) glorifying or advertising sexual intercourse is to be outlawed.
11.All strip clubs, brothels, et. al. are to be shut down, and their proprieters and employees publicly stoned to death.
12.Prostitution is to be outlawed.
13.Body piercings for males are to be outlawed.
14.For females, only the ears may be pierced. Piercing any other part of the body can result in up to six months' imprisonment.
15.Recreational sex is to be outlawed.
16.Oral sex and sodomy are to be outlawed, because they cannot result in conception.
17.Doctors will be prohibited by law from treating patients with sexually transmitted diseases. Those infected will just have to let the diseases run their course. However, if the individual was infected via rape, a blood transfusion, or acquired it from the mother while she was pregnant, an exception can be made (provided they can prove they acquired it through such a mean).
18.Public toplessness, by either males or females, is to be prohibited.
19.Desecrating a Bible is punishable by death.
20.Vandalizing a church is punishable by death. Vandalizing a synagogue is punishable by five years' imprisonment. Vandalizing a mosque is punishable by a 100 Peseta fine and up to thirty days' imprisonment.
21.Using the Lord's name in vain is punishable by 40 lashes in public.
22.Blasphemy is punishable by a 10,000 Peseta fine.
23.Teachers and parents are required to beat disobedient or non-complient children.
24.Incest is punishable by death.
25.Euthanasia is to be outlawed, with no exceptions.
26.Masturbation is to be outlawed.
27.Polygamy is to be outlawed.

Although we approve of the majority of this bill, your restriction against objects that represent violence may be more harmfull than good. In order to provide the Army of God with an endless number of devout recruits ready to sacrifice themselves for the faith, we train our citizens- children included- in the ways of warfare and bloodshed. Doing this also weeds out the heretics from the faithfull. When a Crusade comes, our people are ready to do God's work.

Press Release – Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The United Kingdom must regretfully once again issue a stern warning to its citizens, and those who seek freedom from oppression to avoid El Caudillo, to avoid travel to El Caudillo territories for concerns over their safety and for an extreme level of prejudice presented by Minister Vorster and the government of El Caudillo against those who seek freedom from said oppression. Consequently, the United Kingdom – which had been considering opening diplomatic relations with El Caudillo – must now reconsider the possible future between our two states.

I will respect your right to pass such laws, as well as your right to inforce them, but your people will not go along with it forever. "This second act pleases me profoundly," he said. "Its implementation will result in the complete disappearance of crime in this land."Yeah. Sure.

Ever heard the old saw, "more crimes, more criminals"?All television shows, movies, and cartoons, are to be strictly censored so no violence is shown.Congratulations! You're the first allegedly Christian country whose people are not allowed to watch any films or documentaries on the Crucifixion. I guess you figure that Jesus didn't die for you.All toys with weapons will be confiscated. No darts or baseball bats for your kids!Rap music, rock n' roll music, hip-hop music, disco, rhythm and blues, and other "ghastly" music will be outlawed, to preserve the morality of El Caudillo.Jazz, Rag, and Dixieland are fine, then?

And you're going to allow opera and classical, with all that murder and illicit love?!?The sale of condoms, birth control pills, diaphragms, etc. is to be outlawed.Every sperm is sacred, eh?

What, are you going to arrest men who've had vasectomies and women who've had their tubes tied?Recreational sex is to be outlawed."Not tonight, Honey ... I'm not fertile.

Were you planning on requiring men to divorce their wives upon menopause, or just stop bedding them?Oral sex and sodomy are to be outlawed, because they cannot result in conception. You'll handle masturbation (no pun intended) in Act III, then?Doctors will be prohibited by law from treating patients with sexually transmitted diseases. Those infected will just have to let the diseases run their course. However, if the individual was infected via rape, a blood transfusion, or acquired it from the mother while she was pregnant, an exception can be made (provided they can prove they acquired it through such a mean). So, a husband gets VD, gives it to his wife, and you're going to take it out on her for doing her "wifely duties", right? Barbaric.Vandalizing a church is punishable by death. Vandalizing a synagogue is punishable by five years' imprisonment. Vandalizing a mosque is punishable by a 100 Peseta fine and up to thirty days' imprisonment."Mind you, we're not making any kind of value judgement here..."Using the Lord's name in vain is punishable by 100 lashes in public. What, is Moses' Law (a/k/a the 40-lash limit) not good enough for you? And you said you were fundamentalists...Teachers and parents are required to beat disobedient or non-complient children.Required?!? Are you going to publish a "how-to" manual?Incest is punishable by death. It's the little girl's fault that Uncle Ernie was a perv, then?Euthanasia is to be outlawed, with no exceptions. With laws like these, I'd be worried more about suicide if I were you...

Your government is a truly magnificent piece of work.
The Parthians
20-06-2005, 23:56
Ach, No, no, no! These laws are unessesscarily repressive and completley against what we hold dear in Parthia! Allow me to point out the errors in the new laws and what I reccomend, should I think the law be changed.

The new law stipulates:

1.All television shows, movies, and cartoons, are to be strictly censored so no violence is shown. (The previous act censored profanity, nudity, and "crudeness")
No restrictions on such things exist in Parthia, In fact, some shows consist entirely of Shoobans being forced to kill other Shoobans in horrible, violent ways. It helps desensitize the population, and is thus beneficial.

2.All video games, except completely non-violent ones, are to be banned. To own video games, one must pass several tests; if the individual passes, he may pay 250,000 Pesetas to obtain a license designating him as a government-approved video game owner.

This harms the electronics industry and also, violent games are helpful in desensitizing the population. We have no restrictions on videogames in Parthia.

3.All action figures that represent violent movies or cartoons (i.e., Star Wars, etc.) are to be banned. Those that are already owned by citizens will be confiscated. All toys with weapons will be confiscated.
This will make your people into whiny liberals who detest violence, no laws like this exist in Parthia.

4.Rap music, rock n' roll music, hip-hop music, disco, rhythm and blues, and other "ghastly" music will be outlawed, to preserve the morality of El Caudillo.

We banned all of the above except for rock.

5.Long hair for men and boys is prohibited. If the hair reaches below one inch of the neck, the man or boy will be arrested, taken to a barber shop, and will have his hair cut; he will then pay a fine and be released.

We do not restrict hair length in men, but anyone who looks rediculous will probably be attacked by Parthian Militants in my nation.

6.Make-up is to be outlawed. Vorster explained: "We don't want our fair young ladies looking like call girls."

This law is obscene, women in Parthia face no such restrictions.

7.The sale of condoms, birth control pills, diaphragms, etc. is to be outlawed.

We require the proletariat women of Parthia to be on Birth Control pills for most of the year except for three months to keep the proletariat population in check, it helps prevent overcrowding.

8.Sex education is not to be taught in schools. Teachers who violate this are subject to revocation of their license.

This law is similar to those in Parthia.

9.Bestialty, pedophilia, etc. are to be outlawed.

Both of those are punishable by hanging in Parthia

10.All apparrel (sp?) glorifying or advertising sexual intercourse is to be outlawed.

This is rather excessive.

11.All strip clubs, brothels, et. al. are to be shut down, and their proprieters and employees publicly stoned to death.

We have many and do not restict them at all.

12.Prostitution is to be outlawed.

It is 100% legal in Parthia, as long as only foreign born women are used.

13.Body piercings for males are to be outlawed.

Theres no law on the books for this, but no respectable Parthian man will pierce himself.

14.For females, only the ears may be pierced. Piercing any other part of the body can result in up to six months' imprisonment.
[quote]
Again, theres no law on the books like yours, but no respectable Parthian woman would have something like that done.
[quote]
15.Recreational sex is to be outlawed.

As the proud owner of 365 Concubines I find this law disgusting, oppressive, backward, and wrong

16.Oral sex and sodomy are to be outlawed, because they cannot result in conception.

Oral sex is not illegal in Parthia, but sodomy is punished in a manner laid out by the Avesta. 'Eight hundred stripes with the Aspahe-astra, eight hundred stripes with the Sraosho-charana.'

No such law exists in Parthia, but we also have annihilated most STDs, especially AIDS by requiring all visitors have their blood tested and locking away infected people into camps.

18.Public toplessness, by either males or females, is to be prohibited.

Neither case is illegal in Parthia in certain places.
[quote]
19.Desecrating a Bible is punishable by death.

Descecrating an Avesta is punishable by impaling in Parthia.

20.Vandalizing a church is punishable by death. Vandalizing a synagogue is punishable by five years' imprisonment. Vandalizing a mosque is punishable by a 100 Peseta fine and up to thirty days' imprisonment.

Vandalizing a Fire-Temple in Parthia is punishable by impaling

21.Using the Lord's name in vain is punishable by 100 lashes in public.

No such law exists in Parthia

22.Blasphemy is punishable by a 10,000 Peseta fine.

This law in Parthia is much more mild, it simply says anyone who blasphemizes a religion is expelled from it.

23.Teachers and parents are required to beat disobedient or non-complient children.

We have similar laws in place

24.Incest is punishable by death.

Not so in Parthia.

25.Euthanasia is to be outlawed, with no exceptions.
Its 100% legal here and often required by the government of certain people.

While we applaud the efforts so far taken by El Caudillo we feel that somethings that should be put of the list have been critically left out.
1. No laughing
2. No smiling
3. No looking at a member of the other sex until after you have been married to them
4. No colors may used beside the color gray lest it inspire impure thoughts.
5. The insane have obvious sinned agianst god and are being punished so they must be put to death.
6. No diseases of any kind may be treated as the sickness is gods will.
7. All males with wives past childbearing ages must be castrated as there is no longer any point to sex.

Post Script:
It turns out that the "concerned citizens" was a 35 year old man living in his mom's basement. After his 16 year old nephew read his email and posted the coorespondence on the web he was either mocked or hailed as one of the greatest comedians based of whether it was believed that he was serious or not.

Let it be known that Jensai is calling on the international community to enact a complete and total embargo of El Caudillo until they reverse this horrible violation of human rights. Thank you."

Kreynoria']The Holy Empire of Kreynoria, though also devoutly believing in God, believes that this is a senseless example of nonconformity. We open our arms to all refugees fleeing your barbarously primitive nation.

You are truly an unholy disease, El Caudillo. God does not want the people to be oppressed. They can live their own ways, God will punish them if they are immoral. You are a tiny blight, like a cancer cell, that we will not hesitate to deal with appropriately. And your attempt to eliminate crime will be an utter disaster. Your cruel, oppressive authoritarianism will only invite revolt.

Banning recrational sex is not in any way promoting morality, I have 365 concubines, drink wine, smoke, and generally permit people to do the same. Dissent is promoted by people who know too much destructive information, if they are simply allowed to enjoy their life in splendor, they forget any political problems they have. My people could care less they can't vote and have few rights since they can drink themselves under the table, have sex with a few people, and then enjoy themselves. Forcing people to abandon fun makes them restless.

This is only the short run. In the long run, you are just begging for a rebellion. And Kreynoria may just force a change of regime pretty damn soon.

(I challenge you to a one-on-one RP. No interfering allies, nothing. Your people against mine)

No allies. I will send no more than 1 million troops in the first wave, and only deploy up to 200,000 reinforcements at any time. This is a contest of who God favors.
