Bull Tark was captain of all Clan Fur's Enforcers, the strongest and nost elite house of the current regime... And now even he feard what might become of him.
Untill recently, Gulos were nothing more then an annoyance and hunting game, now they were a organized power, the warring packs now turned their vicous nature on the Clansmen, who were suppossed to be the only sentient beings. Gunshots and exploxion were heard form all over, the houses were surrounded, Aircraft did nothing int the great metropolis that had once been Kellan, hulls of tanks and cars now glowed with fire and the occasional glint of the Gulos eyes.
Tark, and the last steadfast and loyal members of Clan Fur's military were in the capitol building which doubled as the Khan's house, "The Den" had small scattered fires and Gulos had stopped their initial push, starting to feast on the dead and those still dying. Tark was in tears, the empire that he had givin his lifetime protecting had gone to beasts, animals with no culture, the food he ate and thing to be hunted, four of the Enforcers were beating them away with their maces, already out of amunition after days of fighting within the city...
The next morning smoke was the sky and Gulos were already settleing in, the pack leaders had already establish a hierarchy; The two eldest were from the Snow Pack and Ash Pack, not surpprisingly were also the stongest Shev and Shukin were only 20 and 21 but it was hard to be so old when you live in a Gulo society, not surprisingly had begun building a power base and alliances prior to their re-evolution

Gulos are 4 feet at the shoulder and six feet long, the sabre teeth come with age, and they can weigh up to 200 lbs. they live underground in dens that can become massive tunnel complexes with enough Gulos. They can stand on two feet, but on all fours they can reach 40 miles per hour in a sprint... it only last a few minutes though. Litters on average are four cubs every year, only one cub dies on average and being a social creature, populations can grow quickly.
Gulos has the ability to reason, but understand force more easily, communicated with a Gulo is the hardest part if you can look it in the eye...
