Startling news struck today within the Holy Empire as Emporer Shaz Bot made a public announcement. In two weeks time there will be Open Elections for the position of Emporer within the Holy Empire. The People will decide who will rule Shazbotdom from now on. Already there have been bids going out by people who wish to become the next Emporer of the Holy Empire.
Mr. Jonothan Landaria, an Aboriginal who put in a bid for the position, says that only though proper respect for the world will we become a more powerful nation. Mr. James R. Langly, a Shazonian who put in a bid for the position, says that only though proper military readiness will the Holy Empire become even more powerful than they are today. Mrs. Gloria L. Harrison, a Halonian who put in a bid for the position, says that only though peace with nature and the decommissioning of the military will we become more powerful. And last but not least, Galen Q. Leotardia, a Galinian who put in the bid for the position, says that only through meditation and the use of proper Nuclear weaponry as well as space travel capabilities will we become the most powerful nation in the world.
The only person who gave us an official message from their campaign headquarters and that is Galen Leotardia. His message states the following:
“We, the Galinians, have long been the major minority of the Holy Empire. With only 287 representatives in a Parliamentary Body of Six Thousand people, we demand more representation, and my running for Emporer of this nation will give us control over all aspects of government happenings!”
Many people are concerned about this whole election event and there is much speculation on to who will become the next Emporer of our great nation. But we wish the best of luck to all of those who have put in a bid, and will run, for the top spot in our nations government.
