The room was filled with soldiers but even thought the room was quiet only the faint voices men whispering there prayers to Coord.
Some of the men when finished there prayers stood up and quietly walked out. When all the men walked out of the room they all meet in the armory, the soldiers got the gear, put it on, and walked to the loading bays.
Joshua Calvert sighed as he lifted himself into the bay of the drop ship. When he was in he reached up and closed the bay door, and turned to the platoon leader.
"Uh sir? why are we going to attack a Muslim camp?"
"Because privet, they keep threatening the Grand Ruler and they are the ones who have been attacking the caravans to this area"
"Yes sir"
Suddenly there was a jolt and a faint humm as the Drop ship lifted off.
It was a three hour trip to the Muslim camp where the Exterminating procedures would commence. There Intel said that 30 other drop ships would be in this mission, and as for the camp artillery would be bombarding them for a good thirty minutes before they would even hit the ground.
When the drop ship started its decent. the platoon stood up and went to the doors."TEN SECONDS!!!" the pilots voice broke thought on the intercom.
The Platoon leader started counting "9...8...7...6...This is it boys...GO"
The door shot open and the platoon flooded out of the Drop ship and some went down in the sporadic Small arms fire that had been fired from a destroyed building. "OPEN FIRE!" the platoon opened fire. the windows of the building was torn apart by 10mm AP shells.
Joshua got into position and gave the signal to the platoon leader. "COVERING FIRE!!! CALVERT GO" Joshua sprinted the gap and booted the door. The door gave way and Joshua popped a Mark 10 grenade thought and took cover on the side of the door way. The laud explosion of the grenade was what Joshua was waiting for. Joshua ran in and cleared the room, then ran up the stairs.
There was a young man on the second floor he was shot in the right shoulder. he turned to Joshua and lifted his good arm. "I surrender" Joshua stood there and looked at the man. he lifted his rifle and shot the young man thought the head. Joshua turned and walked back to the platoon to get on with the extermination.
