Sonaj revealed

Ages ago, on a distant plane, a prophet made his last prophecy. This prophecy was far greater and important than any other of his visions. He exclaimed it to the people of his world.

"Born he shall be, normal, but it will be deceit.
Live he shall, normal, until the age of the moons.
Complete, he shall become, as the year of the moons dawns.
From fire he shall be woken, by fire millions shall perish.
Ravaged the planet shall be, the same never to become.
The god of them all shall see its chosen, the leader of all its people. Forgotten his name shall be, never to be used again.
Death shall stalk him, fire consume him.
He shall burn for eternity, ravaged by the black fire of the god.
Never more shall he be normal, he shall be the Emperor.
He will be born as Jo...AAAARGH!" And the prophet died, having known the name.

Eons passed, and the prophecy was all but forgotten. On the planet Sonaj, the world experienced a baby-boom, but none suspectedthat one child was special.

Nine years passed, and this year Sonaj´s nine moons aligned on a straight line, something that happened only every millionth year or so, and that night a fire started and the prophecy was fulfilled...

"My lord, the rebellion is too great. You must flee!" the Imperial Advisor Chark told his ruler.

"I do not run. I did not run during the invasion, and I will not run from these farmers. I will fight them myself.", the Emperor exclaimed, and the flames surrounding him grew higher. "They will taste the wrath of our god Sonajara!"

"My lord, there are millions of them!"

"I know. Time to send in the army you´ve been hiding, isn´t it, Chark the traitor?" the Emperor responded coolly.

"Traitor? I have served you my entire life, I would never betray you!"

"You are a fool. I know when someone is lying to me, you know this. I will summon the army, and I will personally tear your head from your shoulders!"

And he did. Moments later Chark´s head was removed from his body and thrown out the window.

"General!"

General Mischto, a man roughly half the size of the gigantic Emperor, entered the room looking quite pale and sweaty. "Yes my lord?"

"You knew nothing of this treason, I expect."

"Nothing at all, sire."

After a few seconds of silence, the Emperor was pleased with his answer.

"Good. Do you know where the rest of the army is?"

"No, my lord, but I can find out soon enough. The fleet hovering above the planet should be able to find them.

"Get a move on, general. I can´t do this alone. And general," he added as the general was leaving the room. "Get my sword. I will need it."

"Of course, my lord", the general responded truly relieved that he could leave the presence of the Emperor, whom he feared above all else.

The Emperor looked around his hall of black and white marble. It looked truly impressive, he thought to himself. The black floor combined with his black armor giving his guests the feeling that he was a part of the building, the white walls making the hall seem much higher. The fact that they also showed the flames he was encircled by clearly gave him satisfaction as he watched the fear in even the bravest eyes. Even though his 2.5 metres (approx. 8´2") was usually fearful, the fact that he almost reached the roof of this seemingly high room made him a terrible look.

"This rebellion will not go unnoticed", he thought. "I wouldnt be at all surprised if some country comes here to offer their "aid", only to demand overprice later. Though it would most likely be necessary to accept."

At that same time, the rebellion took control of yet another city, though minor, they were getting closer to the capitol Fiem.

General Mischto entered the Imperial Chamber.

"The army has been found, my lord, though it is hundreds of miles from here. It will take weeks for it to catch up with the rebellion."

"Are you sure?", the Emperor responded. "I hope for your sake you are right, general. If you are not, the consequences would be...unpleasant."

Mischto swallowed hard, once again finding him sweating in the presence of his lord. "These are the reports I have recieved from the fleet, they are as accurate as the commander could make them"

"Very well. Leave me."

"Of course, Sire."

Leaving the Emperor, the general again felt relieved. He could never betray that...being, he thought to himself. He knew all too well what happened to those that did.

A few days later...

As the small group closed in on the Imperial Chamber of the Demon´s Palace, they couldn´t believe their luck. They had encountered almost no guards at all, and while they should feel uneasy and suspicious, they instead felt overly confident. They believed the reason for the lack of guards was because they had all joined the rebellion. They were wrong.

After encountering five guards outside the doors to the Chamber, they felt sure they would end the Emperor and turn the nation around. The leader of the rebellion, a pale, rather short man in his mid fifties, Aron Mesh couldn´t resist joining the team. He barged into the Imperial Chamber in front of his group of fifteen ex-soldiers.

Inside, they were stunned by the look of the Chamber. They had never seen anything so beutiful in their entire lives. Not far away, a large chair was turned the other way.

"So, you have reached your goal, Aron Mesh, rebel", a deep voice said, sending chills down the spines of the rebels.

"My goal is reached when you are dead, my Emperor", he said sarcasticly.

"Then your goal will never be finished", the voice concluded.

"My goal will be finished today. Your guards are slain, and we are sixteen to one."

"One wolf can easily kill sixteen hares!", the voice shouted. "And my guards... Did you really think that the Emperor of Sonaj would have so little defences? Did you ever, really, think that all my guards had joined your little rebellion? I´ve had thousands trained and brainwashed for the sole purpose of my security, fool!"

A low, rumbling sound emitted from the chair, closely followed by calls of "Surrender!" from the door, where twenty or so fully armored, fully armed Imperial Guards now stood.

"Do not care about the guards! We are here to destroy the Emperor and his reign of terror!"

"I will not let my guards hurt you, that would be cowardice. I will slay you myself. I challenge you all to a duel!"

"We are no fools, Emperor. We have heard of your skills, and if you think we are going to let you kill us one by one..."

"Who has said anything about one on one? I want you all to fight me at the same time, with swords."

"You challenge us to a duel, though you do not dare to show yourself. We might as well just be shot by your guards!"

At that moment, the Emperor rose, his anger so great the flames licked the ceiling. The rebels shook with fear and slowly backed away.

"Here is your enemy! Here is the one you wish to slay! And in the name of Sonajara, I will make you suffer for your words!", the Emperor boomed, the flames growing ever higher. "You now have three choises: Fight me as men, surrender and be tortured as cowards, or try to kill me now and die as fools!"

"Very well, we fight", Aron said in a low voice.

After a few hours, the rebels, now armed with swords and small shields, entered what seemed to be an amphitheater. On the other side of the perfectly round, soil covered ground, stood the Emperor. Wielding a huge longsword in each hand, both flaming with his fire, he was a terrible enemy.

"Fight then!", the Emperor called out as the gate closed behind the rebels, leaving not even a shadow on the polished stone walls. "Attack me!"

And after a few moments, that is what they did. They attacked him en masse, all raising the swords over their heads. The Emperor responded with two wide, long swipes, cutting the throats of six of them. The swords did not decapitate them, but it did enough. The others stopped as their comrades bled to death in mere seconds.

But there was still ten of them, and the charged again, their shields now held in front of them and their swords held at their sides. The Emperor made two quick thrusts, then two more, each hitting the groin of it´s target. The rebels stopped yet again, seeing four of them bleed to death.

"I am chocked at seeing my own former soldiers acting this way", the Emperor said bitterly. "The only way you would have had a chance to win was if you finished your first charge. I see the training most be upgraded", he concluded, then attacked.

Considering the weight of the swords, his speed was exceptional. The six were dead within a minute.

"That takes away the leader", he mumbeled as men were clearing out the dead. "Hang their heads on my balcony! I want the people to see what happens with those who oppose me!"

"Congratulations , my lord. With their leader gone the rebellion should be easily stopped", his new advisor Merfas told him as he reentered the Chamber.

"How can you have become my advisor!", the Emperor shouted. "Do you seriously think killing sixteen will make these millions go home? You are fired!" And with that, Merfas was burned alive by the Emperors flames.

"I hope your having it real nice, Chark", he thought. "Your plan may have destroyed the Empire of Sonajara. The god will be most displeased."

"My lord, we have bought four new armies, as you ordered.", the Emperors newest advisor told him, though he had forgot his name.

"Three clone and one terminator?"

"Yes, my lord, as you instructed."

"Very well. Inform Destructorii that one Clone army is at his disposal. for the others... Send in the terminator army here, in Fief, Clone army #1 in the Unknown Mountains to the north, and Clone army #3 in the Endless Desert to the south. Tell them all to fight straight in once they find the rebels. The army hidden away by Chark has finally arrived. The rebels will be closed in a circle of hardened warriors, far beyond their skill. Take no prisoners."

"Of course, Sire. I shall inform the fleetof your orders."

"Good. Keep this up, and you may survive."

The advisor, Hesh was his name, felt relieved. Never in the history of Sonaj had the Emperor slain so many advisors in so short time. He was truly under pressure.

A few days later...

The battle was hard, but it was obvious from the beginning who would win. Though the rebels outnumbered the Imperial forces by 5 to 1, most of them didn´t have any weapons at all, and they were easy prey for the terminators and clones. While the rebels were annihilated, all one-and-a-half million of them, the armies suffered only a few thousand losses, and these losses would soon be replaced by the new recruits who had "enlisted".

And so, the rebellion in the Empire of Sonaj ended.

OOC:I got bored with this thread, especially since I did all the writing, so I bought a few armies to finish it.
