PNN Special Report
In a shocking move today, the Shah has passed new legislation pertaining to striking which will benefit honest Parthians in the control of the ignorant and base proletariat. "This move will make for a better Parthia" says the Shah. The new laws are as follows.
1. All people who are striking, since they are too ignorant to realize how good their lot is are to be considered not human and can be treated as such.
2. Corporate owners may use private armies to deal with people striking on their properties or may assasinate strike leaders who are not on their property.
3. If a corporation requests Parthian police to assist against strikers with lethal force, that request must be met in full.
4. All strikers may be enslaved by their corporate owner if they are arrested.
5. Private citizens may shoot strikers they consider annoying on sight.
6. The punishment for people arrested for striking in the case the corporate owners do not want to enslave them will be 100 bastinadoes. Leading a strike is punishable by death by impaling.

OOC:Huzzah! Now I can freely massacre people on Parthian soil!
IC:
Doomingsland Defense Industries Factory, Persepolis
The monstrosity of a factory that rivaled the city that housed it in size provided Parthia's army with the majority of its weapons. It employed hundreds of thousands of poor Arab workers, middle class Persian administrators and overseers, and Doomingslandian ex-military mercenaries. DoomCorp, DDI's mother company, maintained a sizable army on the company grounds, armed with the very weapons they produce.
The new anti-protest law was most welcome by the higher-ups and Persian workers. It meant the Arabs and Hazaras could be kept in line without having to worry about the government- not that the government cared in the first place.
On the outskirts of the complex, near the city itself, was the assembly area. It was here all of the armored vehicles produced at the factory, weather they be bound for a Parthian armored division or awaiting pick-up by a weathy citizen, were parked. A group of Arabs, numbering in the hundreds, was assembled, shouting angry words at a nearby administrative building and waving around signs demanding that their pay be raised.
This was an excellent oppurtunity for the corporation to excersise its legal rights.
Within a matter of minutes of their assembling, three hundred mercenaries converged on the area, clad in dark blue VEPR NGCS and weilding M-85A2 SMGs. Accompanying them were several odd looking tracked vehicles. The chassis was that of an M-29 series tank, but the turret had been replaced with a large mirror-like structure. Below that was an emmitter of some sort. The protestors were quickly and effeciently hemmed in, and the soldiers halted, standing like statues.
A loud buzzing sound came from the tanks, and the protestors all let out a simultainius scream as their very blood was boiled by a high powered microwave beam. It took only five seconds to reduce the swarm into a pile of flesh and bones. The water and blood within their body had been evaporated, causing the people to literaly explode. Massive water hoses manned by other Arab workers sprayed the scene of the massacre, washing the remains into massive storm drains.

OOC: Huh. What a stupid move. Anyone can kill anyone who is unemployed or employed simply by claiming he was striking or participated in a strike. NICE work.

Workers may not strike against their employers, but may employers strike their lazy workers, with say a baseball bat?
Some of my workers on my Parthian estates need incentive, if you wish to say?
-Professor Walter
OOC: What do you say to getting the Who Gives A Damn About Human Rights Club together again?

Of course you may strike your workers, we do it all the time on our land and in factories.
-Shah Khosru III
OOC: I would like to, quite a bit.
OOC: I'll host it at the Professor's Parthian estate. Post tommorow or the day after probably.
