Armoured boots made dull thuds against the thick navy blue carpet as eight CyberPlate Armoured bodyguards of the Emperor himself walked through the high arch-ceiling corridor. The Emperor was with them, dressed in ceremonial grey and wite robes. He pushed his way through some solid oak double doors, and stood on the balcony on the 40th floor of The Citadel of Concremo.

He cleared his throat.
"People of Concremo...", applause and cheering, "It is today that I declare our Nation in Full Isolationism, to protect you citizens from a war-torn world full of men with more weapons than sense!" More applause, "It is today that I have informed the esteemed National Leaders of the World of our informed decision, and how we will implement it... With this new age we shall put or resources to better use, to improve the already pioneering living conditions of the people, to fund inventors and idealists who will make our Nation a better place, and to most importantly, protect our economy from those who would willingly have you, and even your children work every our of the day for nothing! With this new age we will stride forward in our technology and national security, providing you with the means to succeed in life, to feel safe and secure. We will no longer be plagued by terrorists, and we can put more effort into catching and punnishing known and dangerous criminals!"

The speech went on for exactly an hour, the Emperor's patriotic and rousing speech drew cheers from the crowd whenever he took a breath, they were captivated by the Great Ruler.

It was beamed to every television set in the country on every channel, broadcasted on the Loudspeakers attatched to lamp-posts and streamed from high-bandwidth servers to every internet abled computer, with full copies of the speech put into every newspaper only 10 minutes after he bowed to the people and went inside...

As you may or may not know, The Republic of Concremo has officially declared Isolationism towards the World at large. Please understand, we have our own reasons for this and no actions from your government had influenced our decision. Isolationism will take place immediately, and the following will be put into effect.
-All who are not of the Daesus species will have all their property sold for cash, with +50% of that sum as compensation from the Government. They will then be immediately escorted to the nearest airport for deportation to their homeland's capital. Any items with 'Sentimental' or 'Priceless' value will be taken with them, with a 1000kg cargo limit.
-All international flights are to cease immediately, and the planes used for the above operation. Any flights on their way to Concremo will be given permission to land for 6 hours refuelling and rest. Any Concremian citizens will be taken from the plane and given housing.
-All Embassies will be given 72 Hours to evacuate the premises. Failure to comply will result in the termination of all residing in the embassy.
-All military or otherwise armed forces originating from your country are to be returned home within 72 Hours. They are to take a direct air route via passenger jet, which will take off from their current station of operations.
-All international products are to be removed from the market, compensation will be given to account for this.
-Any citizen found after one week into the process will be terminated without trial. The body will be incinerated.

Isolationism? This iea is a completly ridiculous concept. There are somethings that your country will need that cannot be provided by itself. I request that you join the Pacific Region of Peace Unity where all the nations will protect you. I also request that you form a trade partnership with Alatambra. We have rich Uranium that you might need for thermal and nuclear weapons. We will even help with the Uranium Enrichment Program which is the first step towards making a nuclear bomb. If you join our region you will be protected and looked out for by all of our nations.

We decline your offer, our region is perfect for what we need. We have our reasons and we shall stick with them. Years of negotiations and trade have left us with vast stockpiles of the few natural resources our land does not provide, and recently started projects shall ensure we have enough to last. I reccomend you double check all of our conditions on the Official Decleration have been met, as we would not like to have to take any drastic measures against such a harmless nation.

OOC:He is right you know... your nation cant produce EVERYTHING it needs. Eventaully those 'Huge stockpiles' wilkl run out, then what? It will have to trade.

PS:Also... what will happen to non-Daesuses(is that the right word?) that are citizens of your nation?

PSS:And killing other nations citizens is a excellent way to get into a war.

ooc: if they comply nicely enough there will be no bloodshed, it is in everyones interests to make the transition as smoothly as possible.

there are no non-daesus. the species daesus makes up 100% of the non-immigrant concremo population.

The two things we can't get are natural gas and coal. We have begun projects to make a chemical subsitute for the gas, but coal we will have to do without. This is no problem, as most of the power stations are hydroelectric or nuclear.

If your nation so desires to go into a reclusive state, then by all means it is your soverign right to do so. Though, while I advise against absolute isolation I am inclined to ask how your people will be dealing with this matter.

While the current government in your nation appears to be doing well. I am under the impress that the citizens of Concremo will not think so highly of you once you've sealed them inside of your borders. While I am not expert on any other species outside of Humans, I am under the impression that like the Human species, your people will eventually long to take on the ideals of other Human nations, due that they may appeal to them.

Whatever the case may be, I am curious how you will solve it. Eventually your people will desire to leave your island and go elsewhere, if only to escape from their "four walls" and explore. By refuses to premit foreign nationals to enter your country, I am under the impression that you will not permit your citizens to leave your island either. As such, you are effectly cutting them off from any outside influence, which in and of itself may or may not be good for their health in the long run. On another note, what if war comes to your lands? If you are isolationists, then you have no real allies, and as such you will be left to fight your war alone. I mean no offense when I say this, but your people and yourself cannot hope to live in total isolation, even if it is economically avaliable to you. The political and social ramifications of your actions will come back to haunt your nation in a few generations. This isolation utopia you lead your people into is only short term.

I do greive for your decendants, such a burden it is to bare the mistakes of their forefathers.

Seeing as your are an Island nation, there are concerns on if you will restrict international shipping from passing within your National Waters and Airspace. Doing so will limit the supply lines for the other Island nations, specificly The Allied States of Wurnedas as well as ones yet to be named. As the Lone Alliance shows great interest in this Region, these issues must be addressed.

William sighed, he had been in Concremo for 10 years. 2 years as an undercover agent, and he's the one who helped Concremo out of the isolationism. Ever since the Camewottian government had kept good relations with Concremo. And they didn't want to violate them by keeping a secret agent in that country. He arrived at the airport, and got on the plane that would take him and 50 other Camewottians home. 2 hours later, when William had already landed and visited his mother, the following message came in:

The people are free to leave by private means, but in doing so they renounce their citizenship to Concremo, unable to return.
