”Today the people in Dracun have been calling for the Chancellor to become the new Holy Father. Many were quoted saying along the similar lines of, "In a world where religion is oppressed and dying a new leader is needed." The Chancellor has yet to comment, but his Vice Chancellor, Angelo Vidar has made repeated statements saying that the Chancellor is greatly honored by such a thing but he believes that church and state should be separated.
Wait we interrupt this news for a broadcast for a report from Imperial Center, the Chancellor is going to make a statement!”
The television screens switched to a banner bearing the flag of the Dracun Imperium, with the Chancellor in front standing behind a podium. He seemed a little nervous but many were confident in his abilities so he should be to. Finally after dozens of flashes from cameras the Chancellor called for silence and began speaking, "Good afternoon, people of Dracun. I come before you today do to the fact you have called for me to become the newest Pope. I decided that rather then deciding myself and getting us in trouble with the church I have called for an international vote, whether I become the recognized Pope or not is up to them, that is all." And dozens of questions were hurtled at him as he left the podium and exited the room.
OOC: I decided to do this because we have no organized religious figures, and although this may be criticized as mirroring RL I decided to do it anyway. I think it could lead to dozens of interesting RPs.
