OOC: My national leader already got married. I even tried to RP it, but that died quickly.
Begs a question to my mind though, how many nations here have lesbians for a leader? I know of 2.
I am an old man; not long for this world. My chance at marriage was gone decades ago. Sad? Perhaps. I had always wanted children, for one, and it does get lonely in the bitterly cold nights of Gorkon. However, I doubt I would have been able to provide so much for the people of this country had I been concerned with such frivolities. My sacrifice has allowed millions of others to live long enough to do such things as marriage. A hollow comfort, but I do not have much longer to be bothered by it.
I will say congratulations to any others looking forward to such an event. And if there are any people who are yet to decide on such a course of action, I say to them: seize the moment, for it will be gone quicker than you might imagine. And when it is gone, it will never come back.

I am proud to announce that King Marcus Octavius has just recently been Betrothed to the daughter of Emperor of the Communal Empire of Culex. Her name is Francesca. The wedding will take place In Malkemen all and everyone is invited to come to the Wedding. Gifts are not required. But it would be nice if Gifts are given. I have decided not to take a bride, consort or harlot, as I am too afeared of potential assasination plots, due to the harsh measures I have had to enforce to ensure my country's survival.
Perhaps when the crisis has passed I will be able to reconsider.
